Rewarding Membership.
It’s what we are all about. “Rewarding
Membership” serves as a simple re
minder of why we join a credit union.
As members, we are rewarded for be
ing part of an institution whose goals
are not based on stock prices. Mem
bership is constantly rewarded in the
form of better loan rates, higher pay
ing interest rates, and lower fees. As
members of a credit union, we also get more than just
monetary rewards. We are constantly giving back to the
community through service and donations. Credit unions

are a place where character and integrity are prized over
profits, and friendly service can always be expected. “Re
warding Membership” is not just a catchy phrase or ex
pression, it is what happens. With every deposit, every
loan, and every transaction we conduct, we hope to re
ward the membership of all those who are a part of our
credit union.
It’s almost that easy.

Student loans come in a variety of
options, and are generally based
on a family’s need. The Stafford
loan is the most common form
of student loans. If your family
qualifies, a subsidized Stafford loan
can be taken out and the govern
ment pays the interest on the loan
while the student is still in school.
If you don’t qualify for a subsidized
Stafford loan, then an unsubsidized
Stafford loan can be given. In an
unsubsidized loan, the interest can
be paid as it accrues during school, or it can be added
to the total loan amount to be paid after the student
leaves college. To find out which type of loan you
qualify for, visit www.fafsa.gov to fill out an applica
tion for financial aid from the government. Once you
complete the online form, you will be notified what
types of loans you qualify for. When you submit your
application to request the loan, use lender code 829158.
If you are a parent helping to pay for your child’s edu
cation, a Stafford Plus loan is available for parents to
draw on. Plus loans are unsubsidized and repayment
begins 60 days after the loan is issued.
If you need help applying for Student loans, or have
questions, call one of our Member Service Representa
tives at 399-9728.
