Tourist Information Centre
Fidenza Village has an officially designed Tourist Information
Centre, drawing both national and international tourists to the
Village seeking information on the surrounding region. The
Centre also acts as a marketing tool for the Village, inviting
visitors to take advantage of special offers and promotions,
establishing a link between their visit to the region and to
the Village. Fidenza Village collaborates with the main tour
operators, hotel chains, transport companies and tourism
organizations to promote the Parma area as a major tourist
destination.
Amenities
Fidenza Village runs a shuttle service connecting theVillage
to Fidenza railway station and periodically provides a shuttle
bus from Milan, usually in operation at the weekend. Visitors
wishing to travel by car to Fidenza Village can enjoy a
chauffeur-driven service or travel to the Village in their own
car, taking advantage of the Village’s ample free parking. A
play area for children, baby changing rooms, a bar, restaurant,
cash-point facilities and public telephones are also available
in the Village enabling visitors to enjoy a complete shopping
experience.
FIDENZA VILLAGE EXPERIENCE
Also in 2006 Fidenza Village proposes the Fidenza Village
Experience, the new way to live and interpret the shop-ping

EVENT CALENDAR
Thursday, March 30th, Dj Linus and Nicola Savino directly
from “Dee Jay chiama Italia”, one of the broadcast most

the awarded and followed “Monte Carlo Nights” show, untiring
discoverer of new musical tendencies from chill out music and
lounge to Acid Jazz, Nick still rides the musical waves of Radio
Capital with “Capital Nightfly” and “Navigator”. Protagonist of
the fiction S.P.Q.R., godmother of the sport show Pressing,
Elenoire Casalegno for twelve years protagonist of a brilliant
career, confirms her talent leading the most trendy musical
shows as Festivalbar, Jammin and Super on air on Italia
1. Saturday, June 10th, the SPEED DATE, the new game
for singles that has just captured lots of Italian cities, visits
Fidenza Village. An original idea, a game organized to meet
men and women and make some friends. Fidenza Village set
up 20 meeting points: an un-conformist and elegant initiative
to shop and maybe meet the “soul mate”. Thursday, July
20th, the big and waited return of CLAUDE CHALLE: the
outlet streets will be animated, once again, with the seducing
notes and the lounge atmosphere of Buddha Bar. The French
dj will broadcast live for the audience of Fidenza Village with
a show that will propose the best of his musical repertory:
unusual and original sounds, a mix of ethno and lounge music
able to create relaxing atmospheres reminding far lands and
oriental spirituality. The program of the exclusive events of
Fidenza Village will gain new extraordinary and unfailing dates
from October. The discouraging adventures of Blue and Joy
at Fidenza Village from June 16th to September 17th. After
having conquered the audience of the big European cities,
Blue and Joy will be protagonists of a new expositive concept
with three unpublished histories that will take life at the new
Gallery of Fidenza Outlet. Strange visitors will populate in the
next months Fidenza Village: the shapes of two friendly “little
beings” set in fantastic scenes, will join the visitors. It’s about
“Blue and Joy”, “Art Characters” that with their “discouraging
adventures” will invade from June to September the shopping
village after having conquered the audience of the big
European cities.
MAIN FINANCIAL FIGURES
Fidenza Village closed out the 2005 financial year with a
sales increase of 40%, compared to the previous year.
During 2005, Fidenza Village Outlet Shopping registered
a true record in footfall. Over 2 million people visited the
Village, representing an increase of visitors of over 30%
compared to 2004. Also the stores in the village reached
a great performance, with a turnover increase of same store
sales of over 15% year-on-year the year. The first months of
2006 have been marked by a continuity in the positive results
compared to the same months of 2005. Fidenza Village
recorded a significant sales increase of more than 50%
compared to the same period of 2005, a footfall increase
of over 35% along with the increase of another important
economical indicator which is the turnover per square metre
which means over 15% compared to the first two months of
2005. This positive performance envisages a 2006 full of
satisfactions for Value Retail, which has already seen 7 new
additional stores since the beginning of the year at Fidenza
Village. Therefore, Fidenza Village intend to enhance and to
carry on a policy more and more aimed at consolidating its
leadership as the outlet for top customers with high spending
potential. A consistent commercial policy, aimed at a dynamic
and constant growth of the centre, foresees the opening within
2007 of 25 further important brands and the conclusion of its
second phase of expansion started in December 2005 and
that will consist in an increase in sales and footfall (according
to estimates more than 3 million visitors).
