Thanks for considering Seattle Wedding Videography, and congratulations on your engagement! You are going to feel like
a celebrity on your Big Day!  Here are some important things to note about our videography style, and why it is so
critical to have for your wedding. Enjoy!

 Videography captures video AND audio. It captures the mood of the day, it captures
the energy of the day, it captures sights AND sounds. It provides a much fuller
picture than still photography. It commemorates you walking down the aisle. The
first kiss is forever on film. It captures the flow of the first dance. It captures the
audio and laughter of the toasts. It captures the endearing congratulations of your
guests. It captures all of the emotions present, in full HD clarity, with stunning editing
and full-color packaging. Photography is extremely critical for a wedding, but we
daresay that videography is even more so, because it captures life in motion!
 Videography captures many more subjects than just the primary two (bride & groom).
It is a moving video documentation of where people were at in their lives and in yours.
It allows you to look back and see who all attended your wedding, what people looked
like, what they sounded like, etc.
 Your wedding day will be a whirlwind. You won’t remember many things that
happened or many things that people said to you or what you talked about.
Videography captures that and allows you to look back and see everything in full
detail.
 Videography allows for well-wishes and congratulations to be caught on camera,
providing guests the opportunity to talk to you and wish you well, and for these
comments to be inserted in your DVD for you to cherish forever. Even if they didn’t
get to talk to you on your Big Day (or vice-versa), they now can!
 Videography allows those who were not able to attend due to geographical distance (or other factors) to see the wedding.
 You can relive your wedding day in absolute clarity (given the HD filming foundation) on either standard DVD or Blu-Ray Disc!

Let’s face it. Marriage can be awesome, but it can also have its share of challenges as well! My wife and I have what we call our “Reset Button.” That Reset Button
is watching either our Proposal DVD, the night she said “yes”, or our Wedding DVD, the day we both said “I do.” It literally brings us back to the very starting line
again, and reminds us of when we fell in love with each other. It is such an impetus for rebirth, it’s just amazing! We go back to our roots, and then whatever little
problems we may be experiencing right then and there seem to vanish, and we fall in love with each other all over again. Sounds perhaps a bit corny, but it’s so
true!

Videography is very different from photography! We don’t direct the clients as the photographer does, except for when they are at our disposal and we are in need
of some “artsy” shots. Photographers usually stage people and elements and set up still photos for a quick snapshot. Videography is a little bit more raw and an
undoctored collection of moving images, with little or occasional manipulation of the people and scenery. The majority of our effectual work happens in editing. We
cannot talk much with clients and/or guests or engage them much during filming, because our voices would get captured into the running video. Thus, we might be
perceived as the “scary guy in the background with the big black thing”, stalking you - it’s ok though, we promise - it’s your day to be a celebrity! And it’s our job to
capture these events on film and to capture a variety of moments therein, in a variety of settings. But our primary goal is to be as absolutely unobtrusive as possible,
like a “fly on the wall.” We’re complimented on this quite often – we like to consider ourselves invisible filming superheroes. 



I have qualified, professional and experienced videographers who do nearly all of the filming, and I, Ryan Graves
(right) and other competent videographers assist. I do all the editing. When we film with two or three cameras (if
you requested more than one) it allows me to splice in between two different shots, thus allowing much fuller
coverage of your ceremony!
Our cameras are not “Hollywood steady-cams”; but we are known for very steady hands; you can be assured of
quality and stylish footage both on and off tripods. Check out our samples online in our YouTube Channel.
We always isolate the best positions to “set up camp” and film from for the ceremony itself. Receptions are much
more mobile.
Our style of filming is as follows, unless otherwise directed:
Wedding: Formal, soft, cinematic, sweeping, with wide, epic shots, and respectful. Always on tripods and stationary.
Reception: Informal, real, somewhat gritty at times, close-up, fun-loving, and respectful. On & off tripods, stationary
& roving.
We generally show up an hour before the wedding ceremony to setup and get “B-Roll”, which is preliminary wedding
and ambience footage.
If you didn’t book us for your “First Look” or your “Send-Off”, and have someone film it on a smartphone, we’ll gladly
incorporate it into your DVD at no extra charge!

"We were very happy with our video! I thought I would write this review for Latin brides too. Hispanic weddings are an all day even. Hiring a videographer
for that amount of time can be real expensive. I think Ryan's price was fair. He was there all day. Our ceremony was at 11am and our reception from 2:30
to midnight. Of course he didnt stay until midnight but pretty much all day. He even showed up earlier so he could capture the special moments. I love
that he got my husband's nervousness on camera. Ryan is a great person to work with, he will respond to you within the day. He cares about you as a

"Ryan was AWESOME to work with!! We met Ryan at our best friend's wedding a few months before we were engaged and got his card to hold on to. We
connected with him immediately at their wedding and were excited by his infectiously fun and outgoing personality! We finally were engaged ourselves,
Ryan had touched base with us a few times to see if it had happened. It was nice to know he wanted to be a part of our wedding as much as we wanted
him! Ryan attended our rehearsal to scope the space and meet everyone. On the big day - he showed up a few hours before to get video of the

"My husband and I decided that we wanted a videographer as one of the very last things before the wedding (about 2 months before). Ryan was an excellent
choice for our budget. I decided that I wanted to edit the wedding video myself, so hired him just to film the ceremony and reception. The cost was well below
that of comparable services. Leading up to the wedding, he was the most responsive vendor we had. When the big day arrived, Ryan skillfully managed to
capture every little detail without being a distraction to the party. The only complaint we would have was that sometimes he would get in the way of the
photographer, but I feel this may have been our fault for not telling him that the photographer had priority (and some brides feel the opposite). He was able
to transfer the footage onto the hard drive that we gave to him right away - I believe a few days after, but we were on honeymoon so the quick turn-around
didn't matter to us. When we finally got around to watching it, I was blown away by the footage! I expected high quality video from his equipment, and for the

filming style to be good, but I had no idea that at the price point we paid we would get brilliantly artistic shots, angles, and panning that rival competition at

was able to capture every little detail of our wedding that even our photographer had omitted (brides: think favors, decoration, etc). It made me very pleased
that even though we weren't paying him to edit the video, he did not disappoint with his artistic filming ways, giving me more than enough to work with in

"I had a connection with a friend of a friend for a videographer, but I went online to research what normal prices were, and what was included for the
given price. I'm glad I did. Low and behold I found Seattle Wedding Videography while browsing randomly online. I put in my information on the easy to
use website, including what I wanted (ex. 1-3 songs, only 1 photographer), and was given back an estimate almost immediately. The estimate was EXACTLY
what I paid for the finished product, and cheaper than my friend of a friend with more accessories! Ryan even came to my rehearsal (but not to our
rehearsal dinner :) ) to scope out the ceremony location so he could get a feel for how things would work on the wedding day. I certainly didn't ask him to

"Our wedding was planned in less than 3 months- and we were hurriedly looking for a videographer to capture our big day. We luckily stumbled upon Ryan
who took the time out to meticulously reply back to our emails in a timely and efficient manner. We were also fortunate enough to correspond not only via
email but also over text and phone. Although the time was ticking upon us for the arrival of our wedding- we didn't feel any concern or anxiety with our
videographer- he displayed his professionalism and punctuality throughout our correspondence with him. When we requested a sample of his DVD and our
schedules conflicted he offered to just express mail the sample and called us for confirmation of delivery. His website is very straightforward- questions
that were brought up through the general survey is pretty standard- providing that you know how long you want footage to be covered, how important
music is throughout your DVD, and all the important details that needed to be addressed such as microphone usage, start/end time, etc. The day before
the wedding; he arrived at our rehearsal to go over some basics- he pretty much wanted to ensure that he had coverage from every angle at the Churchand whether or not his microphone would be able to function at the venue. All these details were important to Randy *now husband and I because we
wanted to make sure that every word was captured in the DVD- (the DVD is going to be sent to his mother overseas). Simply put- his standard operating
procedures were on point and he seemed just as excited and happy as we were. On the day of the wedding- he arrived earlier than expected and checked
in with our wedding planner- and everywhere we were, he was there with his camera and gear. He never missed a single precious moment and although
our wedding ceremony and reception lasted until the wee hours of the night- he still remained calm, professional, and humorous. Not only was he able to
go above and beyond his service role- he exceeded expectations when there were several songs that weren't available in his library and he went out of his
way to search for them and add them to our DVD. His exceptional service and go-get attitude shone through every step of the way! His outstanding service

While we will never truly be able to relive the many great moments we had that day, watching the video did more than just

"If having a great wedding video is important to you, then look no further. We can't say enough great things about Ryan Graves who was our videographer
and video editor from Seattle Wedding Videography. The most important thing is that he's extremely responsive. Often we would send him emails and he
would respond within minutes but never more than 24 hours which is a big deal for a couple who likes to plan and know what's going on as quickly as
possible. We all lead very busy lives so finding a vendor who gets back to you right away is such a luxury to have. On top of this, his packages are unique
for each couple and he's extremely budget friendly which was important since we didn't book our videographer until later on in the planning so we really
didn't have too much leftover in the budget for this. But choosing Seattle Wedding Videography to capture our wedding ended up being one of the most
important decisions we could have made. Plus, we cannot help to mention that although our wedding was on the day of his actual birthday, he still worked
with us and was there for our wedding day. We were able to work it out such that we were still covered with a videographer (the other Ryan) for our
reception so we weren't too cruel to keep him there for his entire birthday but it was so good of him to be there for us. He also has an exceptional editing
process. He provided us a sample DVD with time codes and he provides you with a very easy worksheet to tell him exactly any changes that you request.

the start. We met via Skype since we live on the east coast - the whole process up to the wedding was very easy with them! On the day of the wedding
(8/23/13) they were on time, were so friendly, and got right to work, and everything went perfectly. My sister even booked them shortly after for her
wedding, since she liked them on the spot! We got our four minute highlights video just days after we returned from our honeymoon (brought tears to my
eyes), and very soon after we got the first draft of the DVD. We are able to give them edits (we had basically none!) to the 2 hour DVD. They are going to
use pictures from our photographer for the DVD cover, and can even do a Blu-Ray copy for us. The video had a highlights video, ceremony, cocktail hour,

shot our wedding did a great job for showing up 15 minutes before the wedding (another thing I would not recommend doing). He captured some of the
greatest scenes and had an artistic flare for picking up on the simplest decorations and attributes. While he captured the big things like the ceremony,
toasts, first dance, etc its those little shots of the arbor we sat under, pictures from our guest book, or my favorite wine being poured into a glass that I
appreciate so much. They are little glimpses of all the work we poured into making our day unique and special to us. The editing process was incredible!
We received the speediest results after submitting feedback and our voices were heard as evidenced by the editing done. Ryan was endlessly patient with
us and a joy to work with. Everything flowed so smoothly, the songs selected in the back ground were perfect, the images crisp, the fading in and out of
footage was impeccable. I honestly cried when I watched the initial two minute intro, knowing that I had made the right choice in having someone there

"My husband and I had a very positive experience working with Seattle Wedding Videography and Ryan. Ryan is a very happy and positive person, and is
very quick to respond to all inquiries and e-mails (the quickest of our vendors). He makes a point to meet with his clients in person before the wedding to
go over the process, answer questions, and establish a person-to-person connection. On the day of the wedding, the actual videographer (not Ryan - Ryan
does the editing - or at least in our case) was very much behind-the-scenes (in a good way). I don't remember ever being aware of the videographer's lens
or annoyed or anything like that - no bright lights or feeling overly self-conscious on the dance floor. In terms of the final product, the actual video - it was
exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It captures our day and the highlight moments, and is done tastefully and in some instances, slightly
artfully. Getting a videographer turned out to be a really good decision for us, even though we were hesitant about that initially. I think we will appreciate
the video more and more each passing year. It's really fun to watch the DVD with your parents and remember the awesome day together. It's really fun
to watch the DVD just the two of you to remember the day together. It's so great to see the little details that the video captures - things you may not have
noticed on the actual day, and details you might forget. For example, during the ceremony, when we were all supposed to 'lower our heads in prayer,' my

"Selecting wedding vendors can be overwhelming and intimidating--but it doesn't have to be. There's a reason Seattle Wedding Videography has high
reviews and dominates the 'Best of Western Washington' in terms of videography. It's well deserved, and you owe it to yourself to give them an
interview. Personality: I can't speak for the other videographers within the Seattle Wedding Videography portfolio, but Ryan (owner) himself is warm,
funny, engaging, and deeply passionate about both his customers and weddings in general. It's hard not to get excited with him in the room. It's clear
he loves what he does and it comes across in the work. Further, he's going to go a bit above and beyond to make your day special--in our case he provided
tunes from his phone while my wife got ready. Pricing: Pricing wise we found Seattle Wedding Videography to be very reasonable when compared with
other local offerings. I'd say you're getting roughly a 20% discount versus the other professional videographers in a similar league out there. The contract
is clear and concise. The charges make sense and are explained. There is flexibility based around your schedule/location/day. Everything was pretty
straight up and you don't feel you're being 'nickel and dimed'. Footage: Ryan was able to successfully get all the footage from getting ready, to the build
up, to family shots, to the entire event, to the reception and speeches. No key moments were lost. Littered in between was some 'B Roll' of the venue
and decorations. There's no gaping holes or key moments that were missed. A nice touch was some interviews with our friends/family as the reception
wound down. There was definitely no lack of footage. Production: Seattle Wedding Videography is very interested in making sure your final product has
your own special touch. You choose the songs. You choose the cover art. You choose the chapters. During the review process you can edit down to the
individual frames as needed. You have a ton of flexibility and control, and they'll work with you to get it right. Final Thoughts: If you take a look through
my reviews you'll find that I'm a tough bell-curve grader with most businesses showing up around a solid three stars. That said, Seattle Wedding
Videography goes above and beyond and earns five stars for me with the value and dedication. Is Seattle Wedding Videography perfect? No. I think if
you really want a movie level production you should be looking elsewhere (multiple cameras/more B footage/artistic feel), but be prepared to spend two
or three times as much. Can you beat the overall experience given the people and the value? I'd say it's going to be awfully tough to."
