It stretches from the border with France to Tuscany region. With a geographical coverage of only 5.422 sq km and with its 1,6 million inhabitants – equal to 2,7% of the Italian population – Liguria talks of small numbers but tells of great excellences. Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered which is already quite deep at close distance from the shore, considerably mitigates the climate; the mountain chain protects the region from the cold Northern winds. As a result, the climate here is quite mild, featuring a reduced thermal excursion during the year. The summer average temperature along the coast ranges between 23-24°C, thanks to the cool sea breeze; in winter, temperatures along the costal areas range in average between 6 to 10 °C degrees. The area where the climate is milder is the Western Riviera, which is protected by the ligurian Alps: here the temperature can be compared to that of the gulf of Naples. The Eastern Riviera, which is less protected by the Appennin mountains due to their low altitude, has winter temperatures slightly lower than the ones of the Western Riviera, and it is also more rainy. A small land, an economic system relying on micro, small and medium-sized companies Liguria: a narrow strip of land which hugs the northern arch of Mediterreanean Sea Liguria is one of the smallest regions of ltaly, but it is one of the most densely populated (297 inhabitants/ square km). Genoa is the regional capital and the most populated city, as it accounts for 50% of the regional population; the city embodies all the different characteristics of the region with its port and its old palaces attesting its past as Maritime Republic. Genoa is a cultural and historical city, full of beautiful monuments and attractive places, such as the harbor area of the Old Port, a district devoted to culture and leisure time (this area also hosts the Aquarium, the Antarctica Museum, the City of Children, created inside the Cotton Warehouses, and the Galata Maritime Museum). The indented coastline is an uninterrupted succession of rocks, gulfs, coves, bays and promontories, which winds at the feet of ligurian mountains, the Appennin to the East and the Alps to the West (the highest peak is Monte Saccarello measuring 2200 meters, on the border between Piedmont and Provence, at only 40 km from the sea). Liguria doesn't have any major flat land (only l% of the territory is considered flat), with the exception of the Albenga Plane, exploited for agricultural productions, and the costal plane around the Magra river mouth. Climate conditions of the region are quite exceptional and determined by its latitude as well as by several concurring factors, such as its territory geomorphology and the extended contact with the sea. In fact, Liguria features a high number of micro, small and 7 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered medium sized companies active in the following sectors: electrical engineering, mechanics, medicine, robotics, marine and shipbuilding, plant and floriculture, transport and logistics. Historically, Liguria is a laboratory-region that was the first to be involved in the industrialization process and the first to be hit by the crisis and by post-industrial opportunities. In order to respond to the crisis of the traditional enterprise model based on large integrated factories and on government public investment, the Ligurian regional economy assisted to the affirmation over the past years of important deindustrialization processes and to the expansion of the tertiary sector. After abandoning the typical manufacturing connotation of the previous century, the region aimed its efforts towards high-technology sectors (transports and logistics, High Tech, innovation, research), on a wide range of services, traditional and innovative ones, on specialized agriculture, on environmentally-friendly and niche tourism. In 2006, following a four year period of stagnation, the regional economy grew again; Liguria GDP showed a sensible increase with respect to 2005, thanks to investments and consumption boost. The industrial sector added value increased in real terms by 5.2% especially thanks to electronics, shipbuilding, chemistry and engineering. After a prolonged cycle of continuous growth, the building construction industry settled and became more stable in 2006. From 2008 onwards, due to the world wide economic and financial crisis, Ligurian production trend is experiencing a slowdown. In Liguria there are 142,060 companies (accounting for 2.7% of the national total), 37% of which operate in the commercial and hotel accommodation sectors, 35% operates in services, 20% operates in building construction, while agriculture and industry respectively account for about 8% (lstat data of 2012). Inside a roadstead of about 150 hectares, protected by an outer breakwater of about 2,200 meters, the port of La Spezia features over 5 km of docks and 575,000 square meters of available areas, with 17,000 meters of rail tracks and 3,500 meters of The opening to the sea has always been an excellent opportunity for communications in Liguria. The Liguria port system includes the ports of Genoa, La Spezia and Savona-Vado. The maritime traffic of the regional ports represent the 27.9% of the national maritime traffic. Genoa is a port by tradition. The port of Genoa is the natural maritime access point of the most industrialized area of Northern Italy, located in an ideal position to serve industries and the European market. It is linked with the ports of La Spezia and Savona, and has an enormous strategic importance for the development of the so-called Sea Motorways, and as origin / destination / transit of containerized cargo to and from Suez and the Atlantic. The port of Genoa stretches non-stop over 20 km along the costal area, from the Old Port basin, just apposite the city historic center, to its western limit. lt is fìtted with 30,000 meters of highly operational docks, giving room to 13 terminals all connected to highway and railway systems; the port of Genoa can harbor over 200 ships of different type. The sea bottom depth varies between 9 to 15 meters, with a maximum of 50 meters in the area devoted to super-oil tankers. These elements all together make the port of Genoa and its peripheral basins one of the biggest maritime ports in the entire Med and in Europe. The presence of the Ferry Terminal and of the Cruise Terminal inside the old port basin in the heart of the historic center of the city, completes the range of Port of La Spezia roads. The draught here reaches 14 meters allowing the berthing of container ships. Savona Port Authority encompasses two port basins: Savona and Vado Ligure, located 4 km away from one another, representing the ideal access door to the markets of Southern Europe, to which they are connected by means of efficient communication channels. The overall port system has about 6,000 meters of docks organized in terminals capable of berthing ships carrying bulk liquid and solid goods, and other various Panorama of Genoa port area and of the Western Riviera coast services that the Port of Genoa can provide at all levels. The port of La Spezia is located at the center of the coastline arch stretching from Genoa to Livorno. It serves the markets of the Padana Plane, Switzerland, Austria and 10 Port of Savona 11 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered body, trailer and semi-trailer body manufacturing; manufacturing of ports and accessories for vehicles and their engines; shipbuilding industry: ship construction and repair of ship and vessels; construction of locomotives and rail rolling material; construction of aircrafts and space vehicles; manufacturing of motorcycles and bicycles. The main point of strength is represented by the port of Savona-Vado, which not simply a piece of transit and goods handling, but it is an important economic flywheel capable of stimulating new activities related to storage and goods processing and transformation. In fact, today, other port activities especially those concerning yachting, represent a relevant element for the Savona area in terms of tourism development and the subsequent employment fallouts. Companies of this sector installed in this port area over the last years place Savona among the top locations in the Med for yacht services. Port of Imperia goods. Passengers are hosted by the exclusive Costa Crociere Terminal, among other terminals. From a quantitative point of view, when comparing these ports with other Italian ports of goods final destination, infrastructural equipment of Ligurian ports is usually better. Genoa and La Spezia are respectively racked as the first and the third Italian ports in terms of number of cranes for container handling. The regional capital also ranks second in terms of length of docking area and third in terms of overall surface; with respect to the national average, only la Spezia has a smaller surface devoted to yards and goods warehouses. Also the port road and railway network is equal or bigger if compared to average values. As regards infrastructures outside ports, according province data, and with respect to the ltalian average, Ligurian ports have more infrastructures such as roads, railways, freight villages and intermodal centers. In 2012 the port of Genoa handled 2,064,806 TEUs (out of a total of 3,388,851 TEUs handled by all Ligurian ports combined together). The increased number of handled sea containers, which affected all Ligurian ports, was less evident in Genoa which however maintains its ranking as first national port for this type of traffic; the port of Savona grew more as well as that of La Spezia, ranking second at national level, which exceeded 1.2 million sea containers handled. The goods traffic (solid, liquid and bulk ones) of Ligurian port system reached 50,408,128 tons (32,032,691 of which handled by Genoa). In 2012, the overall goods traffic decreased for all ports: in La Spezia and Savona the only increase affected solid bulk goods, while in Genoa the increase involved various goods. Solid bulk goods strongly diminished in Genoa, in relation to the drop of iron and steel productions in the area of Cornigliano; the drop was in part balanced off by the increased amount of various goods and liquid bulk goods, generating for the regional capital an overalt yearly goods stable volume with respect to 2011. As far as passenger traffìc is concerned, in 2012 Ligurian ports received 4,030,713 people: 1,657,575 transits are related to cruises. The industrial district of Savona means of transport belong to an area called North Western Logistic Region, consisting of Savona and including the territories of Alessandria, Cuneo and Genoa provinces: here, important port resources are implemented in terms of port facilities, road and rail networks, logistic areas, storage areas and firststage goods processing. Savona is a big port today under constant development and the companies located within the district can be divided by different productions: car Genoa ferry terminal 12 13 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered An overview of Liguria tourist assets Genoa, the regional capital, powerful maritime republic in the Middle Ages and the European Capital of Culture in 2004; Portovenere; the Cinque Terre, declared World Heritage by UNESCO; Portofino, a favorite destination of international jetset with Alassio; Albisola with its blue pottery; Bergeggi and Spotorno between coves and sheer cliffs; Varigotti, the Bay of Saracens and the sophisticated center of Laigueglia; Cervo, the Gulf of Diano with its beaches and Bordighera, destination of cultured and sophisticated tourism in the late nineteenth century. These are just some of the fascinating places that Liguria offers to the visitors. An insight of tourist excellences of Liguria region Thanks to its favorable climate, around the half of the XIXth century, Liguria was the first Italian region to become a tourist destination for foreign tourists. The few rich English families, who started this trend, were followed after time by tourists from all over the world, as indicated by the latest statistics on tourist flows. Liguria hosts about 14 million tourists per year, out of which 35% are foreigners, mainly German (accounting for about one fifth of the total), Swiss, French, Dutch and Americans. Italian tourists account for about 65%. Always Liguria, as a land of sea and fishermen, is distinguished by its coastline and its Rivieras. Varigotti, a small fishermen village in the Western Riviera 14 The coastal area is dotted with small villages consisting of typical colored houses overlooking narrow streets ("caruggi"). Their multi-color façades are a typical example of Ligurian architecture which makes the Ligurian coastal area a unique landscape in the world. More inland, however, there is an unexpected Liguria full of beautiful places awarded the title of Most Beautiful Villages of Italy by the Italian Touring Club and part of the circuit "Orange Flags", where you can discover ancient crafts handed down for centuries, as the art of the master glassmakers of Altare, the rare skill of the "spacchini" working the slate in Fontanabuona Valley, the production of filigree of Campo Ligure and the textile art of Lorsica. Apricale, a faschinating inland village - Western Riviera 15 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered The coast and the sea: emotions driven by colours and scents A holiday in Liguria sounds like a sweet blue rhapsody. A musical whirl of saltiness, foam, and wind. Spend a day in a boat, sailing from a hidden bay to a little romantic marina, or plunge in the underwater gardens of the lsle of Gallinara, in the Marine Reserves of Portofino and Bergeggi or Cinque Terre. Here everything's possible - you may even come across a penguin or a shark underneath the big windows of the Aquarium of Genoa, the biggest and most visited aquarium in Europe, which was built by the famous Italian architect Renzo Piano. Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Some of the most renowned localities are: RIVIERA DEI FIORI The far end of the Liguria region, at the border with France, is always surprising with its lively coastal villages and its quiet little towns, from Balzi Rossi to Bordighera, from Arma di Taggia to San Lorenzo al Mare, from Imperia to Cervo, passing through Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo. The atmosphere longed for by foreign visitors in their Grand Tours centuries ago. is always there, with its warmth, its landscapes, and the scent of beautiful gardens. Sanremo A glimpse of Alassio Bay and of Isola Gallinara – Western Riviera Mountain bikers in Sanremo hinterland - Western Riviera A destination for the most aristocratic travelers from all over Europe, ever since the Nineteenth Century, Sanremo, the capital of Italian music, the city of flowers, offers its unchanged elegance to today’s tourists. The famous Liberty-style Casino represents a splendid backdrop to luxury shops and distinguished boutiques. 16 17 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered paths. Closed between the well-preserved medieval walls, interspersed with semicircular towers is Finalborgo which offers the visitor a feeling of protection and meditation. Walked the narrow alleys, each square is a surprise. If the Renaissance and Baroque monuments express the vanity of the city, craft shops represent the vitality harmoniously integrated with the historic urban layout. RIVIERA DELLE PALME Alassio Become around the late nineteenth century an important tourist destination - particularly appreciated by Britons - at the turn of the fifties and sixties of the twentieth century, it became a fashionable resort along with Portofino and Sanremo and saw the birth of the initiative of the Wall, a symbol of jetset of Alassio, based on an idea of the local painter Mario Berrino. It seems that Hemingway, stopped in Alassio, was thrilled by the idea of applying some of the tiles on the wall, irregular, bright and different colours, which would contain the signatures of the most famous customers of the Rome Café. Today Alassio, the Sun City, offers itself quietly to the visitor and reveals with elegance its alleyways and its many cafés. GOLFO DEL TIGULLIO Portofino Finale Ligure "And there it is, suddenly, discovering a hidden cove, of olive and chestnut trees. A small village, Portofino, spreading like a half moon around this calm basin [...]. Everything is reflected in the mirror of calm waters where some fishing boats seem to sleep". In the words of Guy de Maupassant, in the late nineteenth century, we find the same Portofino today, unchanged for centuries in its timeless beauty. Fascinating landscapes full of surprises characterize the hinterland of Finale Ligure. The area is dotted with caverns and hidden caves, to be discovered with amazement among lonely valleys, stone arches, medieval castles, quiet villages and not-so-beaten Portofino is one of the jewels that the world envies to Italy. Not at all disturbed by the great fame enjoyed in the fifties and sixties, for it was and still remains a destination for VIPs and personalities of the jetset, the ancient fishing village continues to offer those Finale Ligure vineyards - Western Riviera Portofino breath-taking landscape - Eastern Riviera 18 19 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered who visit its elegant perfection. Santa Margherita Ligure Known as the "Pearl of the Tigullio", Santa Margherita Ligure is located in the inner part of the Gulf of Tigullio: surrounded by lush hills it is linked to Portofino by a road that follows the Dolphin Coast. Famous is the Fish Market on the seaside promenade, which is supplied by the numerous fishing boats moored in the harbor next to luxurious yachts. The town, probably of Roman origins, blends a typical marine style with elements from the Belle Epoque, making a truly picturesque scenario. GOLFO DEI POETI Portovenere In the western part of the Gulf of La Spezia lies the beautiful Portovenere, whose name derives from the temple dedicated to Venus Ericina, built on the promontory. The charm of the place and the grandeur of the Church of St. Peter, jutting out into the sea, with its majestic gothic development over a Syrian layout was praised by Eugenio Montale. Favorite sanctuary for writers, painters, poets, but also a great place for the balance between nature and human presence, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre area were included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. In front of Portovenere there is the archipelago of three islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, belonging to the "Regional Natural Park of Portovenere." The island of Palmaria, with beautiful vegetation is separated from Portovenere only by a narrow streach of sea, and it is the most visited by tourists. While you walk along the blue path, linking Riomaggiore to Monterosso, passing through Vernazza • a town founded around the ìn year one thousand • and through Corniglia • with its wonderful church of San Pietro, built in Liguria n Gothic style • you will feel in tune with the surrounding nature, and breath the scents of the Mediterranean maquis vineyards and shrubs. While you stroll along the romantic path called "Via dell'Amore, above the cliffs leading to Manarola, you will feel like every day is Valentine's day. 20 Manarola, Cinque Terre - Eastern Riviera Cinque Terre 21 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered The inland: a travel into historical sites, memories and ancient crafts Other than the show of the sea continuously eroding and shaping - Liguria offers another present to all its visitors, the magic of the historical little towns, still untouched and real, where life tastes like it used to do in the past, and people are genuinely welcoming. Beneath the medieval walls, up on the hill ridges, you will find the perfect landscapes for your pictures: Dolceacqua, Apricale, the artists' town, Triora, the mysterious stronghold haunted by witches, Sassello, with its green chestnuts woods, up to Brugnato, famous for its 7th century Benedictine abbey. The inland little towns are fairytale worlds, precious spots hidden among the hills and the sea, all linked by myth. In the province of Savona once upon a time, and still now, Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena was here with its magnificent stone arches; heading West to East along the Riviera in the heart of the Natural Park of Aveto, sits the little town of Santo Stefano d'Aveto, during the HIkers in Valle Argentina - Western Riviera 13th century Malaspina Castle, and later the residence of the Doria family. For those looking for authentic flavours, Valle del Biologico, located in the city of Varese Ligure, is the right place to stop, with its characteristic houses radiating off from the market square, as well as Castelnuovo Magra, where the very first wine shop of the Region was opened. Climbing at Capo Noli - Western Riviera Many Orange Flags wave above the Ligurian towns, flags that represent the beauties signposted by the Region and the ltalian Touring Club; and many municipalities have been listed among the Most Beautiful Italian Little Towns, for their harmonic architecture, their building heritage, and the quality of life. Many Orange Flags wave above the Ligurian towns, flags that represent the beauties signposted by the Region and the ltalian Touring Club; and many municipalities have been listed among the Most Beautiful Italian Little Towns, for their harmonic architecture, their building heritage, and the quality of life. Liguria is full of towns built above the sea, evidence of the victory of man over nature - little islands of stone and colours. From the eastern side Montemarcello guards the Gulf of La Spezia and the valley of Val Magra, from above. Words are not enough to describe the wonder of Manarola, Vernazza and Tellaro. Heading West, the ancient Maritime Republic of Noli, in the province of Savona, and finally Cervo, in the Imperia province, cannot be missed. 22 23 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Art and architecture: the discovery of Ligurian heritage Main streets called “caruggi”, precious, heavenly mansions, monuments, and castles… these and many more are very good reasons to choose a holiday where you can discover the cultural heritage of Liguria. Going back in time to the ancient origins of a millenary civilization, one comes across the graffiti of our ancestors who used to live in the caves called Balzi Rossi and Toirano. 130 sanctuaries, small churches and abbeys like the ones of Borzone, Tiglieto or San Piero in Varatella, are a precious spiritual heritage. Sacred buildings of various styles - early Medieval, Romanesque and Gothic - are only a few of the wonders scattered along the entire region: from the church of S. Pietro, laying on top of the promontory of Porto Venere, to the abbey of San Fruttuoso di Camogli, and the many churches hidden along the Genoa alleys. Villas, gardens and luxurious palaces, that served once as summer residences of noble families, now attest to the rich oligarchy which, from the 16th century, jealously collected precious art piece, nowadays on display for the general public. Genoa Dolceacqua - Western Riviera Host in the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Columbus discovery of America in 1992, 24 Palazzo Carrega-Cataldi in Genoa European Capital for Culture in 2004, with some of its buildings added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Ligurian capital city leaves no room for doubt: Genoa 25 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered needs to be seen and experienced. Discover it through its alleys going down from Castelletto's highs, to the Old Harbour, today a sunny square on the water designed by Architect Renzo Piano, where you can see the Bigo, a “urban lift” that offers a panoramic viewpoint on the town, the so called Magazzini del Cotone, important congress center, the world famous Aquarium, and the Galata Maritime Museum. In the heart of the historic center, among the intertwined medieval structure of narrow alleys, is the monumental street Strada Nuova, currently called Via Garibaldi, which was built in 1550 and hosts precious buildings with their art collections. Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered the stronghold called Fortezza del Priamar, located in Savona, is a monumental complex where Medieval, Byzantine, and Pre-Roman architecture meet. Another valuable cultural experience can be found at the Lia Museum, in La Spezia. This museum host the collection of a business man from Apulia who officially became a resident of La Spezia. In the opposite end of Liguria, Imperia preserves its double nature, with its two ancient cores, Oneglia and Porto Maurizio - the first a modern centre famous for its oil culture, the second a historical centre, located high on the hill behind the sea, the famous Parasio Shows and festivals Passing from the Renaissance and Genovese Baroque to the modern and contemporary art collections, the ideal itinerary goes to the eastern end of the city, Nervi, where vast parks- that are separated from the sea by the famous walk “Anita Garibaldi" - frame four art galleries: the GAM, Modern Art Gallery, the prestigious collection Wolfsoniana, Villa Grimaldi featuring the Frugone collection and the Luxoro Museum, an 18th century patrician house. Besides its architectural and art treasures, Liguria offers shows and festivals for all tastes. The most important maritime show is the Boat Show based in the Genoa Exhibition Centre, which has now doubled its evocative exhibition space on the water, with over 2,600 boats on display, together with all the novelties of the sector. The Science Festival is also an important visitors attraction. Imperia, La Spezia and Savona Scientific workshops, round tables, performances, films, visual installations, and tastings are organized to tell the general public about the mysteries, discoveries, and issues of an ever more fascinating and controversial world. It would be impossible to make a complete list of the points of interest scattered throughout the territory. In Liguria the best ingredients are closely linked to sunny crops and terraces plummeting into the sea, to mountains, sandy and rocky beaches, valleys and country plains. In this varied land fine cuisine flavors are enriched by genuine and simple products. This is why the Ligurian tradition for gourmet food and wine is an enchanting surprise to discover along the journey. Something which is undoubtedly embedded with the region is the “Basil” and its well renowned sauce “Pesto”, whose name comes from the production process, as it is ground (“pestato”) in a marble mortar. The essential ingredients of this typical ligurian Tipical ligurian Focaccia A simple recipe that is best tasted when just taken out of the oven, when it fills the air with its special enchanting fragrance no one can resist. In their previous life they devoted themselves to different professions: Maria Donata to a brilliant career as a lawyer; Maura as a teacher; Lorena and Gabri to their luxury articles shops; Rosanna to her political commitment as a mayor; Tiziana moved for love and gave up a very good job. Six different life stories, six women who met to create little by little a new reality '' The Consorzio Mete di Liguria'', a union wholly made up by women, whose only aim is to make Western Riviera known, a land they love deeply and which is situated between hills covered by age-long olive trees and the Mediterranean seashores. It is also known as Riviera dei Fiori because, thanks to its very mild climate, each plant, each flower finds out its natural habitat. The six friends restored with care and great attention their family houses, welcoming those who, fed up with ''hit and run holidays'', strongly long for having a quite different holiday, enjoying the flavours of a country, for the most part still secret. Lorena decided to restore a small house, surrounded by its blooming garden, and this gave birth to ''The Mulino dei Giusi''; plenty of enthusiasm for this new experience she bought an ancient tower called '' Torre Rossa ''(Red Tower) in the Impero valley and she restored it lovingly, to welcome new guests. Rosanna sold her family hotel to bring back to life to an old stone village:'' I Freschi'': Tiziana created a new charming tourist reality'' L'Uliveto Saglietto'', in the small village of Poggi: glamorous apartments set in its heart, surrounded all around by a cellar, an oil-mill, and a wonderful, age-long pine tree. Maria Donata decided to buy an ancient property, ''Valcrosa'', transforming it into a quiet place, where her guests can enjoy a completely relaxing stay,Gabri transformed her wonderful villa into a refined B&B "Il Mirto", where you feel at home. Maura restored some ancient family houses, giving birth to ''Borgo Muratori'' with its old oil-mill and its garden plenty of Mediterranean scents. 57 Liguria: a region of excellences to be discovered Borgo Muratori is located only 3 km away from Diano Marina. Surrounded by olive trees from the last century, the old house - which used to be a convent- has been carefully restored, using authentic materials that are authentic for the architecture in Liguria: slate, stone and wood. The three apartments, all with a beautiful view of the sea and equipped with antique furniture, have the fascination and charm of family homes, and do not miss modern appliances to make life comfortable. In the garden different citrus trees mix with olive trees, mediterranean herbs and cypresses. The corners of the garden are perfectly equipped, awaiting for guests to relax or enjoying companionable moments. In the most hidden part of the property a charming, enchanted little stone house has been recently renovated which is particularly suitable for a holiday with proper privacy. Have a cup of tea with the last descendants of the prominent families who will be happy to show photos and documents in their homes. You can walk the trails along the Ligurian villages, which offer magnificent views at every turn. You will find that almost nothing has changed, since many famous painters such as Claude Monet and Auguste Renoir painted here. Not to mention the villas, which famous architects built for their customers. They are still witnessing a wonderful period, as the Riviera had regents, scientists, and last but not least famous Clowns as guest. A visit to the villas would be very interesting because they still contain lots of things that were dear to the heart of their owners. Do you know where the smallest theater in the world is?
