Slot Car racing is the recreational
hobby of racing replicas of full size
cars. The scaled tracks have “slots”
& are powered by 12 volts of direct
current that the cars pick up and are
controlled by a handheld reostat.
The drivers’ control both the accelerator and the brakes.
Racers quickly develop an enhanced
sense of hand-eye coordination.
The hobby can be interactive and is
enjoyed by young and old alike.
The fun begins when your party person/ race
director welcomes you to the raceway and gives
instructions on how to race a slot car. Then
everyone gets to practice driving their 6 1/2” slot
cars. Then they get to race for prizes like ribbons,
and coupons. It’s a thrill a minute racing in a safe.
