year we celebrate our 20th anniversary and remain committed to providing authentic hospitality.
For 20 years Grand Hyatt Jakarta has been recognized with countless awards, among them: being named the
best five star hotel by Adikarya Wisata, awarded by the Governor of DKI Jakarta; being voted the best business
hotel for over 10 years running by Business Traveller Magazine; voted best hotel in Jakarta since 2006 by
DestinAsian Reader’s Choice Awards and polled numerous times as the best hotel in Jakarta by Asia Money

Grand Hyatt Jakarta has touched many lives and made a difference to many people over the past two
decades. To mark its 20th anniversary, the hotel has undertaken a Corporate Social Responsibility programme
that includes engaging with Habitat For Humanity Indonesia to build houses in Babakan Madang, Sentul, for
poor and homeless people between April and July 2011.
Grand Hyatt Jakarta has also organized a series of activities for its employees as part of Hyatt’s “Celebrate
Our People” programme. Every year, all Hyatt entities come together globally as a team to devote one week
to acknowledge all employees and to recognize them as the company’s most important asset. This year, the
programme, which was conducted from 13 to 19 June, included many activities, such as sports competitions, a
chess competition, motor touring, a beauty class, a talent competition, a cleaning campaign, etc.

In 1991, Grand Hyatt Bali opened its doors and marked its first step into Bali’s burgeoning hospitality industry.
