Houston, we have been supplying practical and affordable Aircraft and Earthmover Tires for the
Inland and Offshore Marine Industries. In 1953, the Offshore Oil Industry was in its infancy
and General Supply is where they came to get their bumpers. Today, with many storage yards in
Texas, Alabama, Arizona and with warehouse space approaching 500,000 square feet, Gensco
has the largest most varied inventory in the world.

The emphasis on recycling is an important aspect of Gensco's marketing strategy and mission.
We have recently completed an agreement with Genan, Inc., the largest completely 'Green'
recycler of tires in the world. Genan's plant in Houston,Texas handles ten million tire units per
year in the most technologically advanced tire recycling facility ever. Genan's completely
ambient and totally 'Green' process insures that every component of each tire is recycled and
reused without any burning or landfilling.

WHY USE AIRCRAFT TIRES VS. TRUCK OR CAR TIRES ?

Truck tires and in particular, car tires offer a low ply rating. Typically, truck and car
tires will have a 6 to 12 ply rating in the tread and half the plies in the sidewall. An
aircraft tire runs double, triple or quadruple the ply rating bead to bead (sidewall
and tread).

Truck and car tires are comprised mostly of synthetic rubber compounds which
become easily weathered and break down structurally when extreme amounts of
pressure are applied.

Aircraft tires are the best structurally engineered tires in the world, withstanding
pressures more than 100 times that of a car or truck tire. Aircraft tires are made
from natural rubber and are much less susceptible to weathering, thus providing a
better life expectancy and keeping your equipment protected longer.

On average an aircraft tire will outlast truck and car tires 4 to 1. As a result, your
downtime is reduced by the same ratio.

Aircraft tires offer a complete uniform appearance unlike the varied tread designs
of car and truck tires.Your equipment looks better.

do and have for decades. Whether it’s a tire to be fastened to your boat, hung off a
dock, barge, rig or even fitted to a fender net, we can drill it. Need a hole pattern for
earthmover tires? Yes, we drill those as well. Our knowledgeable ready staff can
answer any questions or concerns you may have when determining the size and hole
pattern. Having been in the boat bumper business for over 50 years, we understand
