greater than the quality of the instructional leadership. This
session will focus on how to develop and implement an
instructional leadership plan that will lead your staff to
excellence. Participants will learn how to establish goals
and objectives for instructional team meetings, protocols
for using journal articles and written materials for learning
and reflection and protocols for using videotapes of staff
and children for personal growth and reflection. Strategies
for staff accountability in implementation of personal
goals will be addressed.

PM1 Dig a Little Deeper: Effective Staff
Trainings
1:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Teachers (and other program staff) spend hours in training
workshops, completing online classes, or attending inservice training, hopefully to learn new skills or improve
current ones. But their managers are often disappointed by
the lack of change or improvement evident in their staff.
What can you do? This workshop will look at how to help
teachers and other program staff connect their learning to
their practices in the classroom with simple and effective
techniques.
Presented by Miriam Dressler, Founder and Owner of
Bloom Training & Consulting.
