AUDITION MATERIAL
For ACTORS:
Dialogue: Please review the following lines and be prepared to perform them at auditions. You do not
have to have all lines memorized. Please be prepared to read for both parts.
POOH: Do you happen to have any honey on you, Tigger?
TIGGER: Not unless I bounded into some. I did get something kinda
sticky on my tail earlier. It’s yours if you want it.
POOH: Thank you, no. I think I’ll hold out until I find some honey.
TIGGER: Suit yourself.
POOH: Can you help me find some?
TIGGER: Love to, Pooh. But I’m busy looking for something myself.
POOH: What are you looking for?
TIGGER: What Tiggers love most – adventure! I’ll let you know when I
find some.
For PARENTS: How can I help my actor do his/her best at auditions?
Ask your actor the follow questions:



Do you understand what every word means?
What is happening in the scene? What does Pooh want? What does Tigger want?
What are the characters feeling? How do you show that emotion?
When your actor prepares at home, ask yourself the following:
 Are their voices loud and clear?
 Are they showing emotion on their faces?
 Are they using their whole body to tell the story when singing their song?
