Patrick Marleau scored his third goal of the playoffs while Logan Couture recorded his seventh point of the series to push Nashville to the brink of elimination. Unfortunately, that was not enough as the Predators scored four unanswered goals, including two on the power-play, in a 4-1 Sharks loss in Nashville. WCSR GAME 2 – 5/1/16 – SJS 3 vs. NSH 2…Logan Couture scored the game’s opening goal and added an assist, Joe Pavelski recorded a goal and two assists and Joe Thornton ended up with the game-winner (to go along with an assist) in the Sharks 3-2 victory over the Predators to take a 2-0 series lead. Matt Nieto and Brent Burns also picked up one assist each in the win. WCSR GAME 1 – 4/29/16 – SJS 5 vs. NSH 2…Nashville struck first on the power play, but the Sharks exploded for five goals in the third period to take a 1-0 series lead.
