Wöllaner Nock

For more than 40 years Carinthia’s largest
music festival, the Carinthian Summer, has
made the landscape around Lake Ossiach resound with music. Events are held at Ossiach
Abbey and in the surrounding.
In the CMA at Ossiach Abbey, historical
rooms and a new concert hall are available
for rehearsals, concerts, seminars, meetings
and prestigious events. Continuous themed
exhibitions.
Fun and action – water slide, iceberg, children’s play street, two beach volleyball
courts and inline skating. Unforgettable
swimming experience for all the family at
affordable prices.
The gorge adventure trail is a picturesque
steep track leading to the Tauernteich pool.
Over the length of 1.6 km you also cover a
difference in height of 400 metres – a well
guarded secret, especially on hot days.
Experience that special travel sensation – on
two parallel steel tracks of 760 m each, with
12 large-scale steep bends. Operation stops
during rain, but tobogganing starts again just
15 minutes after the rain has stopped.
Our downhill training stretch is a racy, challenging stretch for real downhillers who
know what it’s all about! It is not just selective, but is also the first permanent downhill
stretch in Austria.
Guests are drawn to Lake Afritz not just for
swimming, but also to catch fish. Quite a few
holidaymakers have caught a pike or landed
a carp here..
In the midst of the gentle Nockberge Mountains you can hike up the Wöllaner Nock and
enjoy nature and the view of the surrounding mountains to the full.
