Annual Meeting Scheduled March 30, 2017 T he Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2017, and will be held at the Niceville Community Center next to the city library at 204 Partin Drive North. During his tenure, he has served in all officer positions and is currently the Vice Chair. In addition to his elected years on the Board, he volunteered six years on the Credit Appeals Committee, and nine years on the Supervisory Committee. Mr. McInnis retired from Civil Service at Eglin AFB in 2004. 2017 Nominees for Election The Nominating Committee has nominated three members to fill three positions on the Board of Directors: Nominations by Petition Opened Russ Corbitt Robert Harlan Daniel A. McInnis Nominations by Petition are open until the close of business (5:00 p.m. CST) on November 3. The petition must contain the signatures, printed names and account number of at least 500 members who are at least 18 years of age. Nominations must be accompanied by a brief statement of qualifications, biographical data and a signed statement from the nominee that he/she is agreeable and will accept the position on the board if elected. Nominees must be an Eglin FCU member, bondable and at least 18 years old. The petition must be received by November 3 and mailed to: Candidate Information Russ Corbitt has served 16 years on the Credit Appeals Committee, and joined the Board of Directors in 2014. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and is a graduate of the Professional Military Comptrollers School. He retired from Civil Service in 2003 as the Deputy Comptroller of the Air Armament Center at Eglin AFB, and has 32 years of experience in financial management. Mr. Corbitt is currently employed as a Senior Acquisition Program Specialist on Eglin AFB. Robert Harlan has served on the Board of Directors since 2002 in all officer positions. He is currently serving as Chairman. Prior to his election to the Board, he served 14 years on the Supervisory Committee. Mr. Harlan is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with 18 years’ experience in Management Engineering. Daniel A. McInnis has served on the Board of Directors since 1999. Dividends Declared For the third quarter of 2016, the Board of Directors has declared a .15% APY (Annual Percentage Yield) on savings; and a .05% APY on checking accounts. Dividend rates are declared by the Board of Directors at the end of each quarter from available earnings.
