It was so great to see so many students come out and participate. I really enjoyed sharing something I love with them—snowboarding is my passion. It was fun to show them why I love it, and I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much. Can’t wait to do it again! ICEAP Goes Skiing Continued By Simon Du Level 6 Last week, the school organized us to Ski Ben Eoin for skiing. That is the first time I played this game. I felt excited. In Ski Ben Eoin, many people play together. We rent the tools for ski. The teacher taught us how to control yourself when you skiing. At first, it was really hard. I practised many times, then I got it. It was so excited when you ski from the top to the bottom. Anyway, we had a lot of fun in skiing. I will go next time. By.Sayaf Alsurayie Level 3 My trip to Ben Eoin was amazing. It was the very first time that I saw so much snow. It was the first time in my life that I snowboarded. I had so much fun, Ben Eoin has one of the best views and I can’t wait to do it again. Cheryl’s ESL class on a tour of different stores in Glace Bay. The movie was talking about how bad is the healthcare in United States of America, by showing some stories of people they lost their jobs, house, or some part of their body part. And all that because of the healthcare costly and the insurance don’t cover for some reason. The idea of the movie it’s to compare between U.S. and some country around the world such as France, U.K, and show how great is the healthcare system and shows their system depends on human health not like U.S. because in U.S. company only care about how much they can’t get with the government help. I liked this movie because this movie show me how lucky I am to be a citizen of country they give a medical treatment for free. The movie shows how bad and suck the U.S. healthcare system and Americans suffered from that. As we see that from human eye point it’s really sad and feels sorry about those people. When the crew of the move goes abroad to find a way to get health care, it’s sad, but in other way gives hope that tells us there is people who really care about human health even if you are my enemy. Same as when they went to Cuba. Art of the Week By Hao Yuan Level 6 When did you draw the picture? December, 2011 Why did you draw it? I did it just for fun Do you like drawing? Yes.
