Dear my host family, I`m glad to send you this letter.
First, let me introduce myself. I have a little humorous and a little shy, but after becoming close friends, I can show a good
sociability and socialize well. I can adjust fast into new environment.
I`m one of really active person, I would like to eat fast food and I`ve heard that America`s hamburger is really big and more
delicious than Korea. Hamburger is one of my favorite food.
Once I arrive in United States, I hope that I can try to eat that hamburger.
From now on, I will tell you about my hobbies.
Firstly, I like to play chess. When I was young, I participated in chess contest, and I got prize for that contest. If you have children
and he/she likes to play chess with me, it would be a very nice time. I also like to play sports and I`m good at soccer, basketball,
table tennis, and running. My friend, who has been to United States, said to me that American ski resort is really different with my
country. He said, American are skiing on the real mountain. I was really shocked with that information. In my country, most of ski
resorts are easy to skiing but not real mountain. I want to see how they ride ski on mountain. Lastly, I like to watch a movie. In my
country, I go to watch movie on every Saturday. If I go to watch movie in USA, it would be very special experience to me. The
reasons why I participate in this program is for meeting various people and improving myself. I`m not just going there only to study
English. If I go to United States, there are so many things that I can learn from. For examples, difference between United States
and my country and about their education systems. In United States, I will make many friends so that I can learn some things from
them. Until now, I have experienced many things. From 1 to 13years old, I was just normal student. In 14 years old, I went to
Philippines to study English for 1 year. That was really great time to me. In 15 years old, I went to China. Chinese language is
really hard to memorize. I studied that for 1 year half. Now I can communicate with Chinese people. If you have children, and you
want me to teach them Chinese language, I can be helpful. China has most big population all over the world, so every morning
there are traffic jam on the subway. I want to share my experiences with you. I have two dreams. One is becoming famous
businessman. For becoming famous businessman, I need to study hard. Another dream is trip around the world. I like to travel,
because I can experience new things by traveling. That gives me happiness. When I imagine that I`m in United States with my
host family, it makes my heart flutter. Thank you for read my letter.
