for low-income seniors
in Wilmington and
Blanchester, Ohio.
Affordable Senior Living by ERH, a division
of ERH, not only offers
rent-subsidized affordable
senior living communities, but also provides a
variety of options and
services not often found
in communities for
seniors with limited incomes. Affordable Senior
Living by ERH offers
social service coordination, activities, well-being
opportunities, spiritual
services and occasional
transportation for outings to events and/or
local stores at the Wilmington and Blanchester
locations.

Planning for the future of Marjorie P. Lee
As we have been communicating to staff and residents
over the past several months,
our master planning process
is an ongoing project and we
are excited to let you know
that at the July Board meeting
our Board of Directors approved our sixth Master Plan
since the 1960’s. We can now
share some of the key elements of the plan with you.
MPL has been and will
remain critical to the overall
mission of ERH and we are
committed to its success. We
will build and develop our core
strengths which include our
staff, our quality outcomes,
and commitment to well-being
and Person-Centered care.
In addition to the market
research we conducted, the
input from our residents and
staff, along with the participation of our resident board representatives have been essential
in this process.

to MPL with more agerelated needs and our challenge is to best meet those
wide-ranging needs on an
individual basis. To accomplish this we will focus not
so much on resident locations, but more on services
we can provide to them. We
have identified immediate
opportunities and goals to
create a better living experience for our residents:
• We will create more private rooms in our care center
along with more long-term
care options. In conjunction
with this there are building
deficiencies that require redesigning and upgrading.
• To strengthen the implementation of our PersonCentered Care philosophy we
will expand and enhance our
service offering and delivery
which will include a suite of
memory support and longterm care options.
• To better deliver our
quality clinical care capabilities we will create Centers
of Excellence for selected
therapies and expand shortterm complex care offering.
• We will continue to pri-
oritize our financial viability
by making sound decisions
that will ensure MPL is here
for generations to come.
Construction will begin in
a year and you will continue
to hear more details leading
up to that date. We will do
everything we can to make
the transition as smooth and
problem-free as possible as
we create an even better living experience for all of our
residents and a better work
environment for our staff.

We are nearly ¾ of the way through the year
and many doctor’s offices may have a waiting period before you can get in for routine preventive
appointments. Plan now so that you don’t miss
out on the wellness well-being credit in 2016.
Documentation that is acceptable as proof
of the completion of the sections of the score
card include the Explanation of Benefit or Claim
Summary, a printout from My Chart or any
other electronic records, bill/receipt from the
physician, or a letter from the physician.
You can submit your proof of completion
with a completed Credit Claim Form in a variety
of ways: by e-mail to ERHwellness@trihealth.
com, by mail to TriHealth Corporate Health

Good Samaritan Mission
Join Us for the Annual Gala on September 25th!
Episcopal Retirement Homes (ERH) will hold its Annual Gala on Friday, September 25th
at the Kenwood Country Club. The event will feature an elegant night of dinner, music,
entertainment and dancing as well as a silent auction and wine raffle. ERH’s Ninth Annual
Gala, which will again be sponsored by PNC Bank, benefits the Good Samaritan Mission
which supports ERH ministry programs and services for older adults. This includes Meals on
Wheels, Partners in Care, affordable living activities and services for limited income seniors,
staff hardship assistance and aid for deserving residents of ERH communities.
