Explore the clarity achieved through the highest quality pigments available. Please note dark colours with a solar absorption coefficient over 0.7 are more sensitive to colour alteration, efflorescence, lime bloom and to climatic constraints. Ensure that humidity and temperature conditions are taken into account when they are used. If a dark colour is required we strongly recommend you use Parex 600 CLEAR SEALER OR 610 MATT CLEAR SEALER to provide additional protection to your DPR finish from harmful UV light. COLOUR MATCHING Due to our unique tinting process we are able to offer the designer an infinite choice of colour options. We are able to match any colour from the BS, RAL, Dulux and other colour systems. We currently have over 30,000 colour formulations and we are able to produce these or new colours within 2 - 3 days subject to manufacturing capacity. DURABILITY Our unique formulation uses 100% acrylic polymers (Do not get confused with a small percentage approx 1 - 2% of silicone added. Silicone added into the acrylic finish provides no discernable benefit and can cause chalking of the surface over time). The acrylic polymeric bonding in our DPR acrylic finishes form a tough surface yet remains pliable and is vapour permeable preventing weather penetration but allowing the building to breath. Parex 100% acrylic finishes stay fresher longer, resisting fading, chalking, and yellowing. In cyclical weathering tests the finishes resist colour wash, peel adhesion and wet abrasion using a stiff brush being scrubbed back and forth. ATTENTION Please note that colours printed on this chart may be subject to variations when reproduced on paper. To obtain a 1 litre colour sample pot or an individual 200 x 200 mm sample please contact Parex. Final colour approval is the responsibility of the customer and should be made after reviewing an actual sample. PLEASE NOTE The shade of the same colour may also differ dependent upon the finishing aspect; e.g. The colour of a Sand Fine finish adjacent to a Swirl Coarse finish in the same colour may appear to look different when viewed next to each other. The higher the number, the less UV light the colour absorbs. Due to printing variations the colours indicated on this colour chart are offered as guidance only and should not be relied upon as a true representation of the actual colour of the finish. Colour will vary depending on the type of finish selected. Application by machine spray or texturing will increase the depth of the colour. Variation in colour due to weather, site conditions and method of application should be expected. For colour verification, request an actual sample in the colour and texture prior to ordering materials. Apply a sample of the finish to be used on the actual substrate before proceeding with the application. Due to the variation in applicator techniques, Parex Ltd is not responsible for the appearance or colour correctness of the applied finish. Colour, texture and finish must be verified and approved by owner prior to application. The information provided in this document results from our knowledge of the products and our experience.
