Brighton Center prepares individuals for careers by providing assistance with résumé preparation, interviewing skills, career
advising, job training and job placement. The center also operates the Center for Employment Training to provide skills-specific
job training and the Young Parent Career Center to assist young parents and other youth with GED preparation, attending
postsecondary education and obtaining employment.

Life Learning Center provides a 3-phase employment education program including a 1-week intense course, followed by 8 continuing
education courses and individualized coaching for employment connections. As members gain employment they are eligible for
graduation, which includes a certificate for 3 credit hours from Gateway Community and Technical College.
Thomas More College

The Center for Adult and Professional Education at Thomas More College is dedicated to providing Catholic service along with its

This guide offers options for adults to continue their education. Providers listed in the guide offer a range of services, from GED preparation to English as a Second Language classes and job training to college degrees. All of
the providers will make referrals to other agencies if they do not offer the specific services requested. Residents
are encouraged to directly contact the organizations listed for more information about specific services.
For more information about careers, needed courses, degree completion and college selection, please go to the Go

funding sources for continuing education, contact the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority through
