The Middletown Church of the Nazarene invites you to come and listen

service will be held Sunday, November 3, at 7:00 PM.
We will have snack -n-yak after the

Springdale Church - BASKETBALL
In preparation for the men’s
basketball league starting in
January, there will be open gym at
Springdale Church of the Nazarene
Monday evenings from Nov. 4 –
Dec. 16 from 6:30 – 8:30PM for
men 16 years old and up. Anyone

gmail.com). The league will begin
on Friday, January 10 and run on
Friday nights for 8 weeks, from
6:15 – 9:15PM.

November 10 Prayer Vigil
This is an open invitation to all of the SWO family.

Several Nazarene churches (Beavercreek, Journey, Living Hope, Norwood, The
Shelter, Trenton GracePointe, Vandalia and Xenia) area are coming together,
Sunday, November 10, 6 PM for a prayer vigil at Beavercreek Church of the
Nazarene for Pastor Saeed Abedini from Boise, who is being held in an Iranian
prison for his faith. His wife, Naghmeh Abedini, will be the special speaker.
We will have a time of prayer for Saeed and his family as well as those who
are persecuted for their faith around the world. The event is free and open to
the public. An offering will be received for the Abedini family. Naghmeh and
her work to free her husband have been featured on CNN, K-Love and have
received other national and international coverage.

Lives of Women, have sold more than two million copies in 22 languages.
Shaunti and her findings have been featured in media as diverse as The Today
Show and Focus on the Family, The New York Times and MomLife Today,
Cosmo and Lifeway’s Living With Teenagers magazine. Based out of Atlanta,
she and her family are intensely grateful for the crazy but wonderful life God
has given them.

International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church IDOP
Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves
were suffering. Hebrews 13:3
The International Day of Prayer (IDOP) is always the second Sunday of November (this was determined by
World Evangelical Fellowship, who started IDOP).
Nazarene Missions International (NMI) encourages Nazarenes to join Christians around the world in
prayer on November 10, 2013. The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) provides opportunity for Christians worldwide to focus on those suffering for their Christian faith.

Edie Baker reports: “We did the delivery of our Crisis Care Kits and School Pal Paks last Saturday. The
SWO District had a full trailer load and a nice increase from last year. This year we had 144 Crisis Care
Kits Boxes (6 in a box) and 38 School Pal Paks (10 in a box) – a total of 182 boxes! Last year we had 142
boxes. It seemed like we had a really nice representation of our churches participating.” Thank you!
