PMDC Client Install

Installation Instructions for PMDC Client
**You MUST uninstall the older PMDC Client before installing new client. If this is a new installation
please skip to page 5.
Uninstall Older Client:
1. Go to Premier MDC installation folder on PC.
a. If you aren’t sure where that is, right click on Premier MDC icon on Desktop or in Start
Menu and go to Properties. The Target will show you where your installation folder is
located.

2. Double click UNWISE.EXE in folder and you’ll completely uninstall older client version of Premier
MDC.
3. Click Next.

4. Click Next.
5. Click Finish.

6. Uninstall will begin.
7. You’ll start to receive pop-ups like the one below. Click “Yes to All”
8. Uninstall will continue.

Client Installation:
1. Download the Client from http://state.il.us/xfr/iwin/
2. Once the file is downloaded. Right click on the folder and Extract All.
3. Open the Extracted Folder.
4. Double click SETUP.EXE to start PMDC client install.

a. If you are on Windows Vista or above, the User Account Control dialog box appears.
Click Continue.
5. The screen below will appear and guide you through installation.
6. Click Next.

7. Click Next  Verizon Mobile Connections Leave IP Address as: 198.224.198.20
(LAN Connections Change IP Address to: 10.129.2.100)
8. Click Next (the screen below does NOT appear on Windows XP machines)

9. Click Next.
10. Click Next.

11. PMDC is installing.
12. If you have Windows Vista or Higher skip to Step 18. If Windows XP continue to Step 13.
13. Install MS Speech on Windows XP.
14. Click Next, leave Modify selected.

15. Click Next
16. Click Next

17. Click Finish. MS Speech has been successfully installed.
18. Check the Box: CJIS System Use Notification enabled should be CHECKED
a. If you do NOT want the CJIS warning when logging in to PMDC uncheck this box.
19. Click Next

20. Leave None/Disabled and Click Next
21. Click Yes.

22. Click Finish.
23. Click OK. Your PC will now reboot.
24. Installation is COMPLETE.
