Crossroads Museum at the Historic Depot – The hub of area history, the
museum housed in the 1918 Depot, sits at the historic railroads crossings which brought
both war and prosperity to Corinth. The museum has an extensive collection of local
Civil War relics. Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 – 5 p.m., 662287-3120, www.crossroadsmuseum.com; while visiting museum, take a peek into the
C&D Jarnigan Store, one of the nation’s premier suppliers of reproduction uniforms
and accessories for both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Hours: Monday – Friday,

Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center – No visit to Corinth would be complete
without seeing the Interpretive Center, a National Park Service Site. The Center features
videos of the Battles of Shiloh and Corinth; ranger-led programs and an educational water
feature. Hours: Daily from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., 662-287-9273, www.nps.gov/shil
Battery F – View one of the nation’s most pristine earthwork for the Civil War period.

Corinth Contraband Camp – Called “the Birthplace of American Freedom,” the
Contraband Camp was home to hundreds of runaway slaves, who fled to Federally
occupied Corinth, during the Civil War. Today a portion of the land where the camp
existed has been set aside as a park. Bronze figures surround a trail through the Camp
depicting the lives of people once considered “contraband” of war. Open daily from
