cater for anything from small groups up to a maximum of 500 people.
Alongside our excellent facilities is a team of professional and friendly staff
dedicated to ensuring your event runs smoothly.
We offer extremely competitive Day and 24-Hour Delegate Rates through
which delegates will enjoy every opportunity to unwind with our superb
leisure facilities including pool, gym, steam room and sauna.
Accommodation is available in our comfortable and stylish lodges or
caravans which are set in woodland providing a wonderful atmosphere to
relax.
Lunches and dinners can be catered for in any of our private function suites.
We are able to tailor menus to suit your specific requests whether for formal
dinners or informal buffets.
Our dedicated and professional Team will assist you in all the planning and
production of your conference or meeting ensuring a truly successful and
memorable event.

based on numbers and layout requirements

Oakdene Forest Park is situated in an award winning park set in 55 acres of glorious
landscaped parkland that borders the Avon Forest and unspoilt river meadows. The park is only
nine miles from Bournemouth’s award winning sandy beeches and is the perfect scenic location
to relax in, or explore the quiet rural surroundings.
We are able to offer a range of accommodation including Lodges and Caravans.
All of the accommodation is available from Friday to Monday to ensure you and your guests
enjoy the quiet of the park, unlimited free parking and all the leisure and Club facilities on offer .

Terms & Conditions
We have tried to keep our terms and conditions as simple and concise as possible. Please ensure you
read them carefully before signing. If you are unsure about any of the points listed, please do not hesitate
to call our Events Department for clarification.
Cancellation
When an event cancels, there is a cost to us and therefore we have a cancellation policy. These are the rates that
are charged:
12 weeks – 20 weeks before the event
6-12 weeks before the event
2-6 weeks before the event
Less than 2 weeks before the event
10% of the total booking value
25% of the total booking value
75% of the total booking value
90% of the total booking value
It is very unlikely that Shorefield would cancel your booking. Should it be necessary to cancel, all of your advance
payments will be refunded and we will have no further liability. However, we will only cancel your booking if:
-Any part of the Leisure Club is closed due to events beyond our control
-If either party becomes insolvent
-If the company, persons making or associated with the booking may damage Shorefield’s reputation
Making Changes to Your Booking
We are happy to amend your booking as we appreciate that numbers change. Should numbers drop significantly,
the cancellation policy will apply. You may amend your numbers by up to 15% without charge.
If numbers are reduced, we reserve the right to reallocate the event to a more suitable room. Please check with
us before increasing your numbers as there are restrictions on certain rooms.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This is normally £5 per person attending the event.
However, for weddings the minimum deposit is £500 or 25% of the booking value, whichever is greater. Full
payment of the balance for all events is due 14 days in advance. We do not offer credit facilities.
Equipment and Suppliers
For most events we are able to supply you with the equipment that you will need. However, if you bring your own
equipment we must ensure that it has been tested so that we are sure that all health and safety requirements are
met. You should comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act. If you bring your own band or entertainer, they
must have their own Public Liability Insurance to a minimum of £2m. We would also need to see copies of
electrical testing certificates and insurance documentation before the event. Without this information, bands and
entertainers will not be permitted to perform.
Other
At our discretion, we may request a damage deposit of up to £1000. This is to cover any damage that may occur
to the Park or our property during your event. In this instance, all or part of the deposit may be withheld to cover
costs.
As the customer, you may not act on behalf of someone else, selling our services to a third party.
If we organise services or goods on your behalf from another supplier, you must settle the bill and not Shorefield.
It is your responsibility to ensure that any supplier that you use fully complies with our regulations and in the case
of entertainers, that full Public Liability Insurance is in place.
