This issue will be packed full of reviews, reports, and news about ROBLOX. We will cover a new ingame purchasing feature added not not long ago in our ROBLOX Update section, so don’t forget to read it! I don’t want to keep you here too long reading the introduction, so I’ll let you go. Happy reading! Lion2323 [CEO of RoGo Magazine] RoGo Magazine. The first original magazine about ROBLOX. Fang of Anansi Flashlight 75 Robux This bit of gear is quite handy for someone like myself, it is especially helpful for users who want to use the Dynamic Lighting feature. Most areas of games have become dark due to people not being able to use this feature properly, therefore by using the Flashlight that does not cost an extortionate amount you can light up the area around you realistically. The downside to this torch is its range. It does not have a great range, therefore it will only be handy if you know where you want to go in a dark area. In my opinion, I think this item has quite a good bit of potential but with its range at the moment I don’t think 75 Robux is a suitable price. Sorciz Was 2,500 Robux Anansi is a trickster, as well as a West African god. Fang of Anansi, is the new Limited sword to hit the Catalog. One swing of the sword, deals 16 damage, the entire slash can deal over 3/4 of your victim’s health. Pressing “q” will summon 8 spiders to do your bidding. Each spiders deals 29 hit points of damage, only four can wipe out your opponent. On the investment side, it was released with 500 in stock, selling at 2.5k. It has now doubled in price, and it’s still raising. If you own one, you might want to hang onto it, because this sword is one of the best in ROBLOX. Ianliu12345 Amerilaser Blaster Was 375 Robux The Amerilaser Blaster is one of several limited gear released during this year's Memorial Day Sale. With 1776 sold and selling for 375 ROBUX, it gained a decent profit and rose to 1k and now floats around the 600 ROBUX mark. Enough of the economics, onto the fun! When firing the blaster, it unleashes particles of red white and blue forming a really cool dynamic lighting ray. Unfortunately though, this is short lived due to the very slow reload time. Spec Alpha Biograft Energy Sword During the Memorial Day Sale, The Spec Alpha Biograft Energy Sword was among the few gears that went limited. It's a basic energy sword; you can double click while jumping to super jump and it's deadly at close range, what more would you want? An entire series of energy swords? Well, that one is true. It went limited, and almost instantly raised to 7.8k, but then dropping down to 5.6k. Will it raise, or drop? I don’t know, all I know is that this came out of the Bombastic Gift of Builder’s Club, a gift from 2009. There are a large number in existence, you might want to sell or trade it, as it could drop soon. Ianliu12345 Historic 'Timmy' Gun 1,000 Robux Ever wanted to own your friends? Every think about what it was like to shoot a machine gun? Well look no further! The Historic 'Timmy' Gun is for you! At the price of 1,000 robux you can fight guest and your friends! This weapon deals 10% damage every shot; it doesn’t take long to wipe out a whole line of guest. >:D If you hold your mouse down the gun will shoot like a machine gun, if you click it once it will just fire one shot. This is why the Timmy gun really comes in handy, its quick, reloads fast and could be used as a machine gun or a shot gun. Either way I feel this gun is well worth 1,000 robux because of the quality of this gun and I would go out and buy one today! Savedaseal Dual Plungers 450 Robux Click and hold with the Dual Plungers to fire a ton of plungers! Each plunger does 35 points of damage, and can stick to your face for 8 seconds! Your plunger throwing technique starts to speed up, and will catch on fire! When wearing the Dual Plungers on your character, it would glitch, flipping your character upside down! It has now been patched. Selling for a fair 450 robux, this is one funny gear! Ianliu12345 RoGo Magazine. The first original magazine about ROBLOX. Survive the Ghosts Creator: Seranok Visited: 14k Visits Review By: Ianliu12345 Seishun Otoko Creator: Qiao Visited: 18k Visits Review By: Ianliu12345 Seishun Otoko is a wonderfully CFramed Japanese village made by Qiao. “Seishun” means “youth/youthful”, while “Otoko” means “male/man” in Japanese. This place really captures a Japanese village, I’ve seen many like this from manga that I’ve read. This looks like it is used for Tanabata Festival scenes. You spawn outside of the village, at a gate with two guards, giving it sort of a medieval feeling. The outside decor is the main thing to pay attention to, as the inside of the building are fairly plain. There are vendors, lanterns and clothes hanging from lines and the village itself looks to be cut into the side of a giant rock. Survive the Ghosts, a new game made by a ROBLOX intern, Seranok. It's a very simple game, you fight off the ghosts, which are other players, and try not to die. This game also uses Dynamic Lighting, survivors get torches to light up the dark house to fight. This is a melee fight, so no guns, just swords. If you do die, you’ll spawn on the Ghost team, and you then try to kill of the remaining survivors. The ghosts have no name above their heads, so keep on the watch, or you might receive a deadly surprise. RoGo Magazine. The first original magazine about ROBLOX. ROBLOX's most eagerly awaited and arguably best update is finally here; dynamic lighting! What does this mean to ROBLOX and most importantly RoGo readers? Well, it means a lot of things. To game developers, a new way of adding atmosphere to their game. To coders and scripters, finding ways to make the most of dynamic lighting with current ROBLOX features and machinery. And to gamers, a new, refreshed and nicer look to ROBLOX games. As a result of this update, many people including myself have been able to make our games much cooler. But are there any negatives to the whole thing? I believe so. I'm sure you're all aware of the free model stereotype. Usually, if a game contains obvious free models the comments will be littered with things like "free modles dis fails N00B!!" and I can see games being put down if they do not use dynamic lighting. "lol this game fails u shod put lighting inn" This should not be the case; people should continue to play games no matter what they contain! Ziggyblock [Team A] RoGo Magazine. Here’s the instructions: Last week, we left the readers to write a paragraph about the title, “Captain RoGo, the Defender of RoTopia.” We picked our favorite, and here it is! The forth paragraph was written by money128. We will have you, the readers, send in a paragraph to RoGoMagazine about that title, leaving it off with a “cliffhanger” (suspense until the next paragraph.) The presidents and CEO would choose the paragraph they like the most, and it will then be featured in the next issue. In the next issue, we will have someone send in a Captain RoGo, the Defender of RoTopia paragraph continuing the previous one, and the process will continue. In the end, we will have an amazing story Once Captain RoGo Caught up with the evil villain; Dr. OgOr had stopped in the written by the fans of RoGo. darkest part of the city. This area was know for it's crime rate, the villain instantly disappeared into a darker area faster then light Captain RoGo sped off behind him. Once in the area Captain RoGo was faced with many fierce minor villains. Captain RoGo instantly began fighting off these villains, who many of them had been brought to justice by him before. *Slash, bang, crash* in no time Captain RoGo had battled through the mob of no good crooks. The evil Doctor was waiting at the end. Captain RoGo thought a 100 miles per second to late, he took the first hit. Send your paragraph, being three to four sentences long, to RoGoMagazine with the subject “The Open Book” for easy organization. RoGo Magazine. The first original magazine about ROBLOX. To assist players in adding this API to their game, ROBLOX released a VERY helpful plugin that easily creates a shop for your game. The plugin download can be found here. InGame Shop ROBLOX has released a new API to game developers, an InGame Shop. What does this do? The API allows game creators to sell items in game, whether it’s a TShirt, Gear, Game Pass, or Clothes, for Robux or Tickets. The API is very easy to use, but it does require some Lua skills if you want to customize it to your ingame store to your liking. The simplest way to add this API to your game, in my opinion, is using the PromtPurchase Method, which basically shows the player a GUI asking to purchase an item. The GUI also asks the player to accept or decline the purchase. game:GetService("MarketplaceService"):PromptPurchase(Player,Ite m ID) This method is similar to the award badge method. All you need is a player and an item ID. To add an item into your store, simply type in the item ID, hit Enter, and click “Add to Store”. This will automatically add the item into your store, where players can purchase it while playing the game. Overall, I find this API very helpful to game makers to get profit off their creation. It’s a very nice addition to ROBLOX. Tiger12289, RoGo President RoGo Magazine. The first original magazine about ROBLOX. If you live under a cave, you might have not heard about the plans for a new RoGo Magazine website. And let me tell you that it is FABULOUS! Now don’t get me wrong, this is not your typical page with just links. The new website has fully interactive headers that slide down. It doesn't get better than that. Everybody has their own space where your bio of you is shown and also what job you have. Also if a staff member has twitter it will be added in afterwards. There is much to be still done on the website, including the issues pages, and plenty of other pages around the website that we are constantly updating and adding pages. There is not estimated time it will be done but I would guess 1 to 2 months. So very soon! This website has been made to make the RoGo experience more fluid, faster and more user friendly. In the picture it shows what slides down smoothly when you click the “Issues” tab, instead of a big sidebar full of items, it is separated into categories. The website also includes an automatic twitter tweets to stay updated with RoGo. Also includes the countdown till next issue. More features in the future may include tablet/phone website to make it easier to look at our website anywhere you go. And the website is made by yours truly, spongebobworldonline (Also known as Brandon Andre). And will be maintained and updated frequently. Until then, stay classy. RoGo Magazine.
