Issue #18! We have came so far! To start off, we
apologize for this month’s issue delay. There were a few
staff issues causing inactiveness. However, these
problems are now fixed with the introduction of eleven
new staff members! You can view their work in this
wellpacked issue.
Also, Dynamic Lighting was added to ROBLOX on May
9th, as featured in this issue’s cover. Catch some
information about this feature in the ROBLOX Updates
section.

Orbital Piano Strike
Was 2,000 Robux
The orbital piano strike is a social gear which was
released fairly recently. When used in game, your
avatar starts to play a flaming piano, which enables a
song and causes flaming, explosive pianos to fall
from the sky. Keep in mind this limited unique gear is
a social item and technically classified as a musical
instrument, so the pianos don’t inflict damage or
impede any nearby players, nor do the explosions do
any major damage to the environment. As an
investment, the gear seems to be hovering around
R$1,200 and R$1,900, meaning it’s not a worthy
investment for any of you limited collectors. For
anybody attempting to make a profit off of this, I
suggest you stay clear. I’d give it a 6/10 for what it is.

Leprechaun Harp
250 Robux
Ever wanted to play a harp? Me neither! But it
turns out it is really fun to go around playing
the harp around random people. You can
change the pitch, and play different notes
when you equip the harp by clicking! It is a
great addition to the few musical instruments
on ROBLOX, and I hope to see more.
Uppercut Sword
625 Robux
Throw your enemies into the sky with an Uppercut!
Then jump into the air, and click as many times as
you can in 5 seconds to slice your opponents! They
will be immobilized for that time, and an awesome
animation is displayed every time you slice! This is
a really fun sword to use, and also has an epic look!
If you're a fast clicker, and like action gear, this is
the sword for you.

Pompous, the Cloud
Was 250 Robux
You’re surrounded on all sides by ninjas, and you need a quick
escape. There’s no better way to escape than using Pompous,
the Cloud! This personal transport gear spawns a cloud under
your feet that allows you to fly it as if it were a hoverboard. The
cloud is faster than a lot of popular personal transports; it
outruns skateboards, the Sorcus chair, and many other gears
your enemies could have. There’s no time limit to the gear, so
you have as long as you need on the cloud. Unlike the
skateboard, this gear has to be equipped to function, so you
can’t use other tools while flying. Although you won’t be able
to attack people while on the cloud, Pompous is very useful in
battles and overall a blast to use. I definitely recommend
buying this gear.

Fallen Artemis Bow
2,500 Robux
The Fallen Artemis Bow behaves the same as the
regular Artemis Bow. Difference? Well, we see the
super obvious differences, the texture, the mesh and
the price! This item is selling at 2,500 robux, while
the regular Artemis Bow is selling at 1750. The
Fallen’s mesh changed from the regular, containing
creased wings and a slightly smaller bow. But the
texture, that thing is a beauty. It looks amazing, just
like the regular Artemis Bow texture.
Double Damage Frog
Was 500 Robux
Throw the Double Damage Frog at your
enemy, and watch them turn blue! Any
damage you deal, with double the damage!
Be careful! You only have 20 seconds of
dealing double damage! This item is priced at
500R$, Limited U with 1250 in stock. The
investment side, it only raised by 100200
robux. Double Damage Frog has a great
mesh and texture. Great price, great look.

Dual Darkhearts
Was 60,000 Robux
Double the Darkheart, double the fun! Darkheart is
already strong enough; and doubling it makes it twice
as strong! While you spin with this equipped,
pressing the Q, E or Z key will make your character
twirl around. Twirl 3 times, it activates a deadly
whirlwind! Be careful though; each kill with this
weapon will lower your MaxHealth, so fight strongly
and wisely!
This gear came out as a Limited U; costing 60k robux,
and only 100 in stock! This took 3 days to sell out,
sensing failure in investment. However, the price
rose to 70k whitch shows success in investment.

Pretty Pretty Princesses Sceptor
450 Robux
The Pretty Pretty Princesses carry around this
pretty sceptor! This is the ultimate trolling
gear, it can cast a spell on a foe and you can
watch them turn into a pretty princess! Priced
at 450R$, this is worth every robuck, but
seems a bit overpriced. It has a creative
mesh, completed with a creative texture, this
scepter is only for the Pretty Pretty
Princesses.

Obby Lobby 2 is just what you’d think, a lobby with obbys. After each round, a
stage is chosen, where an obby will be spawned on the gate in the lobby. You
win points which you can use for upgrades, and help you win. If you like
minigames, or obbys, this is a mustplay game!

Pfft. ANOTHER shooter. What are the odds that it’s any different than the other ROBLOX
shooters? Slim, but the odds are in its favor. Avert the Odds II isn't just another ROBLOX
shooter. It’s much more, even though it’s only in beta testing. Avert the Odds II is a scifi, first
person shooter with a complex leveling system, a smorgasbord of guns, custom loadouts, and a
selection of maps & modes to make the other shooters cry bullets like a minigun. It is an odd
shooter alright—in the best way possible. Through the game’s exceptional scripting, the creator
has the ability to introduce features not found in some other games; features that may seem like
a gamble of Russian roulette. The game system and interface is appealing and easy to
understand, and the controls are different—but because of the scripting, they work very well and
aren't prone to breaking. Overall, I was VERY impressed with this game—as of this writing, it is
on the second page, but don't avert your eyes whenever it climbs onto the front page. It is worth
playing.

Have you ever played a ROBLOX Brickbattle? Then you need to play ROBLOX
Battle! It includes amazing upgraded versions of the regular Brick Battle tools,
a new Reflector tool, and maps of many amazing ROBLOX builders. It is a
really entertaining and somewhat addicting game, built and scripted
amazingly.
Sound of Red Stone is a musical amphitheatre built with red stone blocks. The creator, Haho4,
is an EBR member, which is a great title to own. The name of this place fits perfectly with the
game’s environment. The beautiful CFrame catches the scene, and the selection of colours and
textures on bricks gives it its noticeable presence. No scripts seem to be presented in this place.
I don’t see any reason for a script to be in here anyway. The detail, material choice, texture,
scene and even the name shows that this place is well planned and built.

Groups To create or not to create?
InGame Sales
Hello fellow readers! You may not have seen me in a while, for I've been on a
hiatus. Anyway, to the news! Whenever the ROBLOX staff released Game
Passes and a way to add gear to your game, they promised that they would
soon get the feature ingame. Well, ROBLOXians, they lived up to their promise!
Place owners can now sell Game Passes and gear in their game by using
"MarketplaceService," a new addition to ROBLOX's Lua API. "PromptPurchase,"
being the main aspect, allows you to prompt players to buy items ingame.
"GetProductInfo" allows you to see a variety of statistics of your ingame items,
which includes a description and cost of the item selected. How you choose to
implement the code is up to the place owners'. You could sell your items in a
store ingame, you can create NPCs who will prompt you to purchase, the
possibilities are endless! For a head start, the ROBLOX staff has made a vending
machine model which contains a simple script that you can make ANY
adjustments to you want. This is just a basic script, but you can expand it even
further with just a little knowledge of Lua. When you sell your items ingame,
Game Passes give you 70% of the total cost of the pass, while you still get 10%
of gear sales. I can't wait to see how users will use this new feature! Have a
wonderful day, and blox on!
At one point, I bet everyone has wanted to create a group on
ROBLOX. Of course NBC people can not, but BC people can. The real
question is, should you create a group? What do you spend most
your time doing on ROBLOX? If you spend most your time in groups,
then I say go ahead and make one! But if you spend most your time
on ROBLOX doing other things, it may not be a good idea. If you
create a group and gain a good amount of members, you must follow
up and be active. If your not active, the group will become inactive
and become a waste of money and time. I know that I have created
many groups that have become inactive. So my suggestion is, decide
what you do most on ROBLOX, and from there decide if you really
want to make a group. Do not let a group go inactive; do not waste
your money.

This paragraph needs to be continued! Here’s the
instructions:
Last week, we left the readers to write a paragraph about
the title, “Captain RoGo, the Defender of RoTopia.” We
picked our favorite, and here it is! The third paragraph was
written by Tycoonbros.
We will have you, the readers, send in a paragraph to
RoGoMagazine about that title, leaving it off with a
“cliffhanger” (suspense until the next paragraph.) The
presidents and CEO would choose the paragraph they

In the next issue, we will have someone send in a
Captain RoGo, the Defender of RoTopia
paragraph continuing the previous one, and the process
will continue. In the end, we will have an amazing story

nemesis travelling at various speeds. OgOr kept losing balance of his speed

Send your paragraph, being three to four sentences long,
to RoGoMagazine with the subject “The Open Book” for
easy organization.

To create lighting like this, two new Instances were added into Studio. They

After a bunch of talk on the ROBLOX Blog, Dynamic Lighting was finally

that has recently been released in ROBLOX. It allows neater shadows along

The lighting also affects darken areas. If an area is completely covered, with
no areas allowing light to shine in, the area will appear dark. If there is an
opening in that area, it will allow light to shine through.

New RoGo Website
Hello! If you live under a cave, you might have not heard about the plans for a
new RoGo Magazine website. And let me tell you that it is FABULOUS!
Now don’t get me wrong, this is not your typical page with just links the new
website is fully interactive headers that slide down. It doesn't get better than
that.
Everybody their own space where your bio of you is shown and also what job
you have. Also if a staff member has twitter it will be added in afterwards.
There is much to be still done on the website, including the issues pages, and
plenty of other pages around the website that we are constantly updating and
adding pages. There is not estimated time it will be done but I would guess 1 to
2 months. So very soon!
This website has been made to make the RoGo experience more fluid, faster
and more user friendly.
In the picture it shows what slides down smoothly when you click the
“Issues” tab, instead of a big sidebar full of items, it is separated into
categories. The website also includes an automatic twitter tweets to stay
updated with RoGo. Also includes the countdown till next issue.
More features in the future may include tablet/phone website to make it easier
to look at our website anywhere you go.
And the website is made by yours truly, spongebobworldonline (Also known as
Brandon Andre). And will be maintained and updated frequently.
Until then, stay classy.
