Sinai School Districts may choose to have the Port Jefferson Free Library or Comsewogue Public Library as their home library. Simply present two proofs of residency with current name and address to apply for your new library card. All household members must register at the same library. Heritage Day Event @ the Library! Saturday, August 20 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Visit us during Port Jefferson Village’s 2nd Annual Heritage Weekend! Go back in time and visit the historic Port Jefferson Library. Enter through the historic front doors which are normally closed off, wander at the historic reference desk, view paintings by local artist, Leon Foster Jones, and children can enjoy period activities & stories! The Friends of the Library will be running a lemonade stand with snacks and treats and a guided walking tour. New this year will be a Geocache hunt throughout the village!
