Alchemy
• Unique technology using a
Thincryl ™
Colorcryl ™
A curvable insert product that works with all popular
curved frame systems. Available in a full range of solid
colors, as well as with high-resolution digital graphics.
Fully integral colored acrylic signage, produced by a
proprietary thermal fusing process. Visually stunning,
durable, and available in a range of standard color options
that will meet most color scheme requirements. Custom
color options can be added tomeet specific brand needs.

Solid Surface
Materials are processed at high temperature and pressure
(over 5,000 PSI) to create signage impossible to duplicate
with any other process. Often purchased with integral
metal graphics, this is an outstanding option for uses like
museums and donor recognition projects.
Imagecryl ™
Truly a game changer featuring high-resolution
graphics in combination with a range of text options,
resulting in signage not found anywhere else. This
product features high quality graphics directly printed
on the second surface of thermally formed clear acrylic.

Alumacryl ™
Thermally formed, back-painted (UV ink) acrylic signage,
which combines the durability of molded acrylic with the
aesthetic possibilities of second surface color.
A sign like no other, our patented technology can BOND
tactile copy to metal substrates like Aluminum, Stainless
Steel, even Metal Laminates. Its virtually chip-proof
durability is only comparable to the style it brings to any
professional space.
Formcryl ™
This ready-to-paint option is the
perfect substitute for photopolymer.
Multiple thicknesses, compliant
braille, and an exterior-rated
composition of either high-impact
styrene for first surface applications,
or clear acrylic for clear or backpainted applications.

Toughcryl ™
Designed as a direct substitute for photopolymer,
Toughcryl ™ is available in all standard textures.
An exterior rating and hemispherical Braille make this
a product of choice for all classic photopolymer
applications.

Our unique manufacturing process creates beautiful and
durable signage, utilizing natural materials processed
with only heat and pressure. This option creates a more
eco-friendly look to your space.

Metal-faced signage features acrylic substrates with
chemically thermally fused polymer metal faces. This

Engineered to have the appearance of platinum glass,
the understated elegance is achieved with pressureformed “green edge” acrylic, back-painted silver. Most
often produced with nickel silver graphics.

Dimensional Print
Fully integral photoluminescent acrylic signage.
Signs manufactured with fully integral tactile
elements with either the background or text
photoluminescent. Code-compliant raised
elements and Braille.
With the ability to take any flat image and provide
dimensional features to it, this option is perfect for
promotional signage in any facility. The patent-pending

Very High Bond Tape (VHB)
For permanent installation of signs and letters, we offer VHB
tape. Your signage arrives with the appropriate amount of
VHB adhered to the back; the installer simply peels the
protective paper from the tape and presses the letter or sign
into place. Rolls of VHB are also sold separately.

aluminum, threaded rods attached to the back of a letter,
logo, or graphic which are inserted into pre-drilled holes in
the wall. Intended for use in combination with silicone

mounting templates (recommended).
Pin Mounting
These pins have a 1” wide x 3/4” high adhesive pad which
houses a 1-5/8” long pin. Pin back mounting is great for
mounting signage to fabric walls. Not recommended for
large or heavy signage.

General Instructions
The quickest method of transferring files is via e-mail. When doing
so, or sending via fax, please use the following instructions to help
ensure your order can be handled without delays:
• Indicate your company name and contact information on your fax,
or in the subject line of your e-mail.
• Include your phone number in your message.
• Include all critical sizes. For example, 12” high overall.
• Indicate the materials, thickness, and colors to be used on your
order, or to be quoted.
• Group all signs by type, not by floor. Include quantities and
drawings when available.
• Including an Excel sign schedule with your submission will help us
expedite your order.

Vector vs. Raster
Vector art consists of an outline of each
element in your design which is created
using points, lines, and arcs to define the
shape. This vector outline is the path our
machines will follow to cut letters, logos,
or graphics from your chosen material.
Vector
Raster art is a bitmap image that has been
created in a paint or imaging application,
or scanned. These files cannot be used by
our machines to cut shapes; vector outlines
are required.

Artwork Requirements
for Digital Print
Digital Prints can be used to enhance signage in a variety of ways, from a
subtle background gradation, to striking, full color logos and graphics.
Many of our materials can be direct printed, meaning no paper media is
required, which can not only reduce costs, but open up a range of visual
possibilities. Call us today to discuss how digital printing could add a
unique element to your signage.
Artwork for digital prints should be submitted in either bitmap (raster) or
vector format. When submitting vector artwork, please follow the guidelines and file types listed on the previous page. If you are submitting
bitmap artwork, please send it in any of the following formats: JPG, TIF,
Adobe Photoshop PSD (CS2 or lower), Corel Photo-Paint CPT (X4 or lower),
or unsecured PDF.
The minimum dots per inch (DPI) for digital printing is 72 DPI at full size. In
general, the higher the DPI, the better the quality print you will receive. For
most applications, 300 to 600 DPI at full size will be the preferred setting
for a good balance between quality and file size. (Upsizing a low resolution
image in order to attain optimum resolution is not recommended as this
rarely produces a higher quality final product. )
Please specify any Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors that you
want matched within your artwork. We will make every effort to match
these colors, but exact color matches may not be possible due to
limitations in CMYK printing. Color matching may also require
additional color matching fees.

Ordering Information
Artwork Guidelines
Requirements for submitting vector artwork for Photopolymer, or cut
letters, logos, and graphics are as follows:
• When sending production art, be sure to supply vector art (see pg. 38)
Convert all text to outlines, paths, or curves (including descriptive text).
• Remove all strokes, or make sure that strokes are converted to curves to
avoid scaling issues.
• Make sure to indicate where Braille is to be placed on each of your signs.
Braille is 1/4” high and is normally placed 3/8” below your lowest line of
copy, and a minimum of 3/8” from the edge of the panel. Please make
sure that you leave enough room for Braille, and when multiple lines of
copy are involved, take into account that multiple lines of Braille may also
be necessary.
• While submitting a PDF file which shows your sign types in full color with
gradients and shadows is a great visual tool, we also require that you
send the artwork as a black & white, production ready file with all
gradients and shadows removed, and all text and strokes converted to
curves. If not, additional fees may be incurred.
• We can accept files in the following formats: Flexisign (version 11 or
lower), EPS, Adobe Illustrator (CS2 or lower), Corel Draw (X4 or lower),
or an unsecured PDF file. We can also accept clean, camera-ready
black and white artwork and bitmap artwork, but they will require
additional charges to scan, vectorize, and/or clean up your artwork.

Terms & Conditions
To Place Your Order: Our customer service representatives are available from
8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, EST. You can also fax or e-mail your order
7 days a week, 24 hours a day. A variety of products can also be purchased from our
on-line store. Please complete all order details so that we may expedite your order.
Maintain a copy of the order for your records.
Minimum Orders: $100.00 minimum order.
Paint Match Fees: $75.00 fee for paint matches approved by our manufacturing;
$100.00 fee if a sample is provided for customer approval.
Quotations: We are pleased to provide pricing for any of your custom or large
volume requirements. Please call, fax, or e-mail your specifications, including
material, size requirements, color, mounting system, and quantity. Quote requests
can be e-mailed to [email protected]. Acceptance of a quotation is your
approval to proceed with fabrication per quote specifications. We gladly accept
drawings, camera-ready artwork, and electronic art via CD or DVD.
Packaging/Shipping: Any special packaging or sorting requirements need to be
specified with your quote request. If none are specified, we will use our standard
packaging and sorting procedures. Any items over 24” in any dimension will require
a crate; this will normally be a line item listed on your quote. Crating of some orders
will require that they ship Common Carrier. We will ship with your account number
via the carrier of your choice, if requested when the order is placed. All shipments are
F.O.B. Point of Origin. Every effort is made to accommodate changes of shipping or
packaging made after an order is released to production. Of course, the most
efficient way to manufacture and ship your order without errors is to have all of the
requirements at the time of initial release to production.
Damages: INSPECT ALL PACKAGES UPON RECEIPT. Any damage to the package
or the package contents, either obvious or hidden, must be reported to the
transportation company upon receipt of the shipment. Please report any other
problem promptly, with pictures if applicable, within 10 days.
Cancellations/Return Policy: Due to the nature of our business, sign and
component parts are produced as orders are received and are, therefore, custom.
For this reason, products are not returnable or cancellable after an order is placed.
Changes to an order in production may be difficult to accommodate and may incur
additional charges. Before returning any product, please call us for a return authorization number. All returns must be received within 30 days of receipt of the order
and must be shipped prepaid. Any product sent C.O.D., or without an authorization
number will be refused.
Credit Terms: Unless credit terms are established, all orders are shipped pre-paid, or
paid via credit card at time of order. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express,
Discover, or company check. We establish terms based upon your D&B rating. If you
are not listed with D&B, please ask for a credit application, fill it out completely,
including signatures, and return. Some projects and materials may require a deposit,
even for accounts with Net terms.
Limited Warranty: Our products are warranted to be free of defects in material or
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery. The warranty
covers repair or replacement of the sign or sign components at our discretion.
Removal and installation of any replaced or repaired signs is not covered under this
warranty. Installation is acceptance of those signs or components. Under no
circumstances will the warranty exceed the amount of the invoice.
