Each Buffalo Forge iron door is delivered as a ready-to-install, weather-proof
entry system including insulated safety glass, vinyl weather-strip system, and
composite threshold. Doors accept standard door hardware to eliminate the
need for custom or hard-to-find locks and latches.

The Buffalo Forge iron grilles are designed within a unique face-mounted
frame system, providing greater architectural definition to the iron
grille designs.

Factory mounted flush bolts provide secure locking of the passive door. Achieve maximum security while maintaining a clean look without the need for
surface mounted hardware.

Each unit is pre-assembled and installed into a test wall before it is packaged
for shipment. Each Buffalo Forge unit comes with a 5 year Limited Warranty.

Glass panels open inwards to the home to allow easy access to clean both
sides of the glass. You can open the glass panel and leave the door locked and

secure while talking through the decorative grille or allow the air to ventilate

Let GlassCraft® build your custom wine door. Custom
units can be made to fit into any size or style of opening.
If your wine room needs to be climate controlled our
doors would be the perfect fit. All Buffalo Forge® units
are available with full double insulated glazing panels and
compression weather stripping allowing you to regulate
the wine room temperature separately from the rest of
the home. Wine room door units may also be ordered
without glazing to give a more open look and feel to a
wine room project.
Custom wine doors are unique and can be built to your
design requirements to reflect your vision and personality
and to fit seamlessly with your home décor.

you need a large grand entryway or your door just needs
to be a little smaller than one of our standard door sizes,
we can build it to your perfect size. We can add sidelites
or transoms to any one of our designs to continually
expand the design possibilities for all of our Buffalo Forge
entry doors.

Operating Glass Panels
Operating glass panels are easy to clean, energy
efficient, and engineered to provide protection for
your home. GlassCraft’s exclusive designs include an
integrated sloped sill and weep hole system built into
the glass panel and wrought iron design to allow rain
water to drain to the exterior away from the door and
glass frame.
Open the glass panels to easily clean the glass behind
the decorative wrought iron designs. The inner glass
door uses compression weather-stripping to securely
seal the operating glass frame.

Pre-hang Configuration Options
All Buffalo Forge entryways shown in this catalog are pre-hung
as assembled door units. We offer two jamb sizes, 4-5/8˝ wide
or 6-5/8˝ wide to fit most construction needs. All standard Buffalo Forge door designs are available with Inswing or Out-swing doors and can be ordered as left-handed or
right-handed units. Please refer to the chart above to specify
the handing when placing your order. All doors on the handing
guide are viewed from the exterior of the home. Door units
may also be ordered with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
accessible thresholds. ADA threshold units are made to order
and will require extended lead times. See page 26 & 27 for full
pricing and lead time details.
The jamb includes pre-drilled mounting holes for easy
installation of the door unit into all framing types. A full set of
installation instructions and a how-to video are provided with
each Buffalo Forge unit and are also available to download from
our web site at www.glasscraft.com. If needed, you can use
any standard brickmold and interior casing applications with the
Buffalo Forge steel frame to fit seamlessly into your home’s
construction and trim options.
If our standard frame size will not work, please call and talk to
our custom order department to review custom jamb options
for your project.

Custom Orders
GlassCraft’s Buffalo Forge custom price is based on your
door’s wrought iron design requirements and the size of
the complete door unit. Please contact the custom order
department or visit our Custom Design Center online to
request a quote.
Any standard GlassCraft design built to a non-stock size
is considered a full custom unit and will require the full
custom lead-time. Our usual custom order lead-time
is 8-10 weeks after final product drawings have been
approved.
ADA Threshold
All Standard Stock Buffalo Forge doors on page 26 can
be ordered with an ADA 1/2’’ aluminum sill. This option
does not guarantee that the door unit will meet all ADA
requirements; please check with your local building
inspectors to confirm ADA compliance.
