No tender shall be accepted / opened in case of receipt after due date and time of tender,
irrespective of delay due to postal services or any other reasons and the GETCO shall not
assume any responsibility for late receipt of tender.
The tenders are to be submitted by the intending bidders in single envelop with two
separate sealed and super scribed envelopes as listed below:
Envelope No.1: Technical bid and pre qualification requirement, bid data, details
specification.
Envelope No.2: Price Bid.
Technical and pre qualification requirement bid details specification (envelope No.1) will be
opened first and subject to evaluation based on the qualification criteria contained in the
individual bid document.
Price bids (Envelope No.2) of bidders who are assessed and declared as substantially
technically responsive on evaluation of the technical bid will be opened for further
commercial evaluation.
The Earnest Money Deposit and tender fee will be accepted by Demand Draft on any
Nationalized Bank only situated at “Viramgam”, drawn in favor of “GUJARAT ENERGY
TRANSMISSION CORPORATION LTD.,”. Tender without EMD and tender fee shall be
rejected. Two separate demand draft for Tender fee and EMD should be submitted with
technical bid.

** TAXES - OTHER CHARGES & TERMS - CONDITION FOR SUPPLY **
1. PRICE: Prices quoted in our price bid are for delivery F.O.R. at 220KV Viramgam.
2. VAT: Prices are exclusive of VAT which will be charged at__________%
3. Excise Duty: Prices are exclusive of excise duty. The present rate of excise duty
applied is

4. Service Tax: If applicable, will be reimbursed on production of challan for payment of
Service Tax.
5. Transit Insurance: Prices inclusive of transit insurance right up to site and 30 days
thereafter.
6. Income Tax: Income Tax will be deducted from each bill as per the rules.
7. Penalty: We agree to Board’s penalty clause.
8. Guarantee: We agree with standard guarantee for 36 / 42 months from date of
installation / date of supply respectively.
9. Import License: We do/ do not require import license from the Board.
10.Tender should be submitted by R.P.A.D./Speed Post Only.
11.Validity: Our offer is valid for 180 days from the date of this technical bid.
12.The GETCO reserves the right to accept or reject the offer without assigning any
reason whatsoever the GETCO’s decision will be final and binding to us.
13.Supplier should submit CST No./GST No. & TIN No.
14.In Price Bid, only unit rates should be shown and all taxes and other charges
if any, should be shown separately.
15.The product should have minimum guarantee period of 36 / 42 months from date
of installation / date of supply respectively. More guarantee period will be preferable
and shall be given due weight age and preference.

** GENERAL CONDITION FOR SUPPLY **
1. If found necessary, the order may be awarded to more than one agency against the
tender.
2. The tenders shall remain open for acceptance at least for a period of Six Months, from
the date of opening of tenders.
3. The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited does not bind itself to accept the
lowest or any tender. The Executive Engineer (TR), Viramgam reserves the right to
reject any or all tender without signing any reasons whatsoever.
4. As regard damage the materials, equipment the supplier, he himself will be
responsible. If he thinks fit he may take necessary insurance cover, at his cost.
5. Security deposit: - The contractor will have to pay the Security Deposit at 10% of the
order value on placing the order & it will have to paid in cash or demand draft in favor
of ‘GUJARAT ENERGY TRANSMISSION CORPORATION LTD’ within 10 days from the
date of the issue of order.
6. Tenderer should be qualified only who have P. F. Registration, Service Tax
Registration, Vat Registration & Work Registration.
7. Service tax will be paid as per prevailing norms on production of service tax
registration. And against production of payment proof.
8. Specification in any items mentioned in tender are subject to change without any prior
notice and binding to the contractor.
9. GETCO shall deduct the Income-Tax and other taxes as per prevailing rules from each
and every bills.
10.The undersign reserve rights to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reasons thereof. Issuance of blank tender does not automatically qualifies the
tenderers for award.
11.No tools, tackles, manpower, crane facilities etc will be provided by the GETCO.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION TO THE TENDERER.
1.
Tenders shall have to be down loaded in two parts.
(1) Technical and Commercial bid. (2) Price Bid.
The two bids shall be submitted in two separate envelopes to be sealed in the one
envelope supplied by the Company. The price bid of only those Tenderers will be
opened who are considered technically acceptable.
2.
The tenders will have to be down loaded in two copies of blank Tender on payment of
Tender fees (non refundable) as per Tender Notice. However, additional copies of
Tender Specification can also be had on payment as per the Tender Specification.
3.
The tenderers shall have to return the Tender duly filled in two separate envelope
kept in a printed cover given by the Company without any additions/ alterations &
duly signed page by page.
The Tenderers are forbidden from furnishing their own printed/ typed commercial and
other terms and conditions.
4.
All commercial terms and conditions except rates shall be indicated in the technical &
commercial bid only.
5.
The Tenderers shall specifically note that the Tenders are invited on percentage basis
only.
6.
The Tenderers shall specifically note that the quantities mentioned in the Tender are
likely to vary as per the actual requirement. As such, the successful tenderer shall
have to execute the work at the same order rates for the changed quantities, if any,
without any extra compensation whatsoever.
7.
The Tenderers shall have to submit 10 copies of bidding schedule forming a part of
price bid as called for in the Tender Specifications for distribution at the time of
opening to other participant Tenderer’s.
8.
The tenderers will ensure submission of the Tenders duly filled in before the due date
and time.
9.
The price bid of those tender shall only be opened at the time and date to be
informed by E.E. (TR), Tr. Div. Viramgam which is found technically acceptable and
satisfying the requisite qualification & parameters.

BUSHING CONDITION
1. LV Bushings: Supply of Condenser type bushings of 72.5KV class and solid porcelain
type bushings
a. All Condenser type of Bushings should be oil impregnated paper type (OIP).
b. Condenser Bushings should be as per IS 2099-1986 and should be of reputed
make only of BHEL, CGL, Alstom (AREVA), TELK, ABB.
c. The current ratings should be as per requirement.
d. The Bushings should have test tap for measurement of Tan Delta.
e. The Bushings should have prismatic oil sight glass.
f. The dimensional parameter of solid porcelain type bushings shall be as per IS:
3347.
g. Permissible variation in the value of capacitance, max. Value of di-electric
dissipation factor (Tan Delta), test tap & other electrical characteristics of bushings
shall be in accordance with IEC: 60137-2003.
