Mercure Capricorn Resort Yeppoon is located 45 kilometres from Rockhampton Airport and 9 kilometres
from central Yeppoon. If travelling by car follow the tourism road signage which indicates directions. The
Resort offers a shuttle service to and from Rockhampton Airport.

By Rail
Queensland Rail’s Traveltrain operates train services daily to Rockhampton from Brisbane and Cairns and extended west to Longreach. The Tilt Train service runs
4 times per week between Brisbane and Cairns. It will take approximately 7 hours to travel from Rockhampton to Brisbane. ‘The Sunlander’ and ‘Spirit of the
Outback’ trains also operate via Rockhampton to the Tropical North and outback Queensland.

Mercure Capricorn Resort Yeppoon has a professional Wedding Executive onsite who will assist you to organise your special day from start to finish. Please feel free
to contact us at any time to discuss your plans and for some helpful advice.
Choice of Officiator
It is a legal requirement in Australia that all couples wishing to marry must complete the “Notice of Intended Marriage” form. This form, along with all relevant
documents, must be submitted to the Priest, Minister or Celebrant at least 31 days prior to the date of your wedding.
Once you have made the decision to be married at the Resort, please contact the officiator of your choice. This is important, as the officiator will be required to
confirm their availability for your chosen wedding day.
