GOLF
Both of our spectacular courses are listed among the
top Resort Courses in the country, by Australian Golf
Magazine.
The Resort Course is a classic Thomson-Wolveridge
course. A par 72 course, measuring 6,832 yards from the
blue tees. In superb condition, this exacting but forgiving
course, has wide fairways and there is no over abundance
of water. With 39 sand bunkers, the course cuts through
Australian Melaleuca bushland using the natural
undulations of the area to best utilise natural contours to
enhance the course dynamics.
The Championship Course is designed by Karl Litten and
opened in 1992. Carved out of Melaleuca swamps and
bushland, it is tight and dangerous. Karl Litten is rated as
one of the top two designers in the world. He considers
the championship course a gem. “It really has to be one of
the top five world class courses I have ever designed and I
have now designed more than one hundred, over a period
of twenty-five years. I rank it with my course in Dubai in
the Middle East, the first ever desert golf course there, two
in Florida and one in Japan.”
CONFERENCING & WEDDINGS
The Resort features 9 conference rooms that can cater for
up to 600 delegates.
Themed events are our specialty, from Rodeo’s, Arabian
Night Sand Beach Parties to virtually any concept you can
imagine, and maybe some you can’t! With your personal
Conference Co-ordinator, attention to detail is always at
the forefront.
For your big day, wedding venues are endless, why not
have your ceremony in our Chapel, which features floor to
ceiling windows overlooking the majestic coastline of the
Capricorn Coast & Keppel Islands.
