Global Diplomatic Forum
Following the success of the Young Diplomats Forum
2013, in Ankara, Turkey, we are delighted to host the
next event in Mexico.
The Young Diplomats Forum was set up to offer a unique
platform for the next generation of global leaders. It is
after all the next generations that will face the task of
building a peaceful and prosperous world.
Attracting exceptionally bright and accomplished
individuals from across the globe, they will gain further
insight, tools and opportunities to engage the key
stakeholders at a crucial time in their careers and
broaden their connections to influence global leaders.
The week long event includes field trips, interactive
workshops, simulations, case studies,
presentations and speeches from senior figures
from the diplomatic, political and commercial
world.
The Forum will tackle pressing and topical issues related
to international affairs from the perspective of young
global leaders. It will stimulate and facilitate an advanced exchange of ideas, build trust
and become a catalyst for change on a regional and
global arena.
We are excited and delighted to be hosting our next forum in Mexico and I would to take this opportunity to
thank our supporters.

overview
Everything we do is rooted from our core belief that we can help bring change to the world.
We believe in defying the status quo.
We believe in changing perceptions.
We believe in thinking in a different way.
We believe in promoting the philosophy of change.
We believe that global prosperity is achieved through universal understanding, global dialogue,
global co-operation and global engagement.
The Young Diplomats Forum is a beacon for change. Our young leaders will create new dialogues
and perspectives to address global issues, including tackling energy poverty, ending sexual violence against women in conflict zones and improving education.
They develop lasting personal and professional relationships with peers from outside of their
existing network, which gives them an alternative view of key international affairs and creating
friendship with individuals that helps shape a more peaceful and integrated world.

testimonials from our ydf
participants 2013
Here we hear from some of participants from last year, who in their own words tell you about their
experience, what they gained and what it meant to them.
The YDF was perhaps the best international conference I have ever attended!.
I was gratified and humbled to participate and to
speak at the inaugural young Diplomats Forum.
It was an enlightening experience and through the
TDF I‘ve met some of the most
brilliant young minds on earth and made what I
know will be lifelong connections
and friendships.
I gained invaluable knowledge, skills, insights and
transformative perspectives about diplomacy.
The peaceful, respectful and responsible nature of
discussions and interactions at the forum is a great
example and an assertion of our identity as young
people as border-less
generation that is keen to build a better world for all.
The quality of the presenters and their experiences
was world class

The Young Diplomats Forum was an amazing experience. As an Israeli, it was
inspiring to meet young leaders from countries like Pakistan, Libya and Iraq
and discover that everyone has a common dream of peace and better future
for our region. I had the honour to represent my country at the multilateral
international arena and the friends I made will stay with me on my way forward.
