RESEARCH EXPERIENCE Dissertation: “The English Inheritance of Biblical Verse,” studying the transmission of Late Antique Latin poetry to England and the subsequent vernacular contributions to the genre in Old English, 2003-­‐‑08 SSHRC project: Ongoing research into the educational function of scribal glosses in manuscripts of Anglo-­‐‑Saxon provenance, 2003-­‐‑7 Research assistantship: Nota Quadrata, devoted to the study of music in the Middle Ages. Assisted in the preparation of an edition of the Ars notoria, a Medieval Latin treatise on musical composition and short-­‐‑hand, 2006-­‐‑8 Research assistantship: Dictionary of Old English Project.
