CRAFTSTEAK
James Beard award-winning chef Tom Colicchio elevates the definition of a steakhouse with Craftsteak.
Craftsteak is dedicated not only to the craft of cooking, but also to celebrating the natural flavors of
great ingredients. The menu features ingredients from small family farms, artisanal producers and
day-boat fishermen, prepared to capture the true flavor and essence of each product. The à la carte
menu includes a selection of signature vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms, grains and beans in addition
to steakhouse favorite side dishes. Signature Dishes: Red Pepper Salad, Roasted Beef Porterhouse for

A modern Chinese restaurant with Western flair, Pearl features authentic Cantonese and Shanghainese
specialties, live seafood and a product-driven menu that changes according to availability. The tea
trolley in Pearl is unique to Chinese restaurants in the United States and includes a selection of the
finest Chinese Tea, prepared table side, with select filtered water, dedicated wine cellar, an aperitif
trolley and a digestif selection, along with a Sommelier, also not usually found in traditional Chinese

EMERIL LAGASSE’S NEW ORLEANS FISH HOUSE
Recreating the warm New Orleans style, the single story restaurant has an exposed brick and woodwalled dining room, an indoor patio and an oval seafood bar. The menu features Emeril’s signature
blend of modern Creole/Cajun cooking. The chef de cuisine procures scallops from Maine, pike
from the Midwest, chicken from Alabama, and other specialty produce from around the country.
Emeril’s is the recipient of Wine Spectator’s 1999 “Best of Award of Excellence.” Signature Dishes:

MARK MILLER’S COYOTE CAFÉ AND GRILL ROOM
Hand-painted coyotes, lizards and other southwestern motifs, transport café diners to the desert;
the more elegant Grill Room next door has the rich feel of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mark Miller
won the prestigious James Beard Award as “Best Chef in the Southwest,” and the food in the two
restaurants is a true testimony to the award. The Grill Room features different entrées every month,
however the “Cowboy” rib steak is a permanent fixture. No meal is complete here without one of the
many fresh-fruit margaritas and custom-blended pineapple rum daiquiries. The Coyote Café
received a 1999 “Award of Excellence” by Wine Spectator for its wine list. Signature Dishes:

GRAND WOK AND SUSHI BAR
Featuring a wide array of Asian cuisine created by chefs who specialize in authentic Chinese,
Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese dishes. The front of the restaurant features a waterfall
cascading down a 40-foot wall of individually placed polished pond rocks, flowing from one level
to the next into a gentle pond.

An elegant atmosphere reminiscent of the golden age of Hollywood, where the vast brunch and
dinner menu changes every day, providing guests with eight different all-you-can-eat entrees. During
brunch, the Buffet features ham and turkey carving stations; the dinner menu is expanded to prime rib.
Chilled shrimp is always available for dinner. Buffet offerings include an extensive salad bar and a
selection of tempting desserts – cakes, pies, tarts, sundaes, nonfat frozen yogurt, and sugar-free treats.

THE RAINFOREST CAFÉ
A Wild Place to Shop and Eat®, the two-story restaurant boasts an animation gorilla family and
other creatures indigenous to the rain forest. The inventively themed restaurant/retail complex
features cool mists rising from cascading waterfalls. A 10,000-gallon double arch way salt-water
aquarium featuring more than 22 species of fish from around the world. Trumpeting animatronic
elephants and simulated tropical rainstorms – complete with thunder and lighting – are all placed in
lush vegetation. All menu selections are cleverly named – examples are Rumble in the Jungle Turkey
Pita, the Primal Steak and Gorillas in the Mist Cheesecake. Selections include pastas, salads,
signature sandwiches, and delectable desserts.

SEABLUE
An exciting, fun and innovative menu has been built around “jet fresh” fish and fresh seasonal
produce. Designed by Adam Tihany, this unique restaurant features two open preparation areas

STAGE DELI
A walk-up style restaurant for the on-the-go guest. It offers typical New York deli fare with
mouth-watering Pastrami, Corned Beef, Chopped Liver, Turkey and Brisket Sandwiches, as well as
Matzo-ball Soup and Kosher Hot Dogs. Breakfast choices include danishes and lox and bagels. Fresh
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are available all day.

Features Hamada Express, McDonald’s, Nathan’s Famous®, Mamma Ilardo’s Pizza®, and Häagen-Dazs.
CABANA GRILLE
Seasonal café and snack bar provides beautiful poolside dining at MGM Grand Pool Complex.
Features a variety of breakfast entrées including omelets, pancakes and more. Extensive lunch and
dinner menu, too.
STARBUCKS
Gourmet coffees, teas and coffee drinks, along with pastries, candies and chocolates served in two
convenient locations.
ZURI
Zuri offers guests an innovative drink experience. The 100-seat bar serves cocktails along side fruitinfused spirits, Veuve Clicquot Champagne (en-magnum) by the glass, hard-to-find specialty beers
from around the world, a cigar humidor and a special menu “for the morning after the night before.”
THE CITY OF ENTERTAINMENT
MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA
Barbra Streisand christened the MGM Grand Garden Arena, performing for the first time in 20 years.
This 15,200-seat arena has also hosted the Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson and the championship boxing
matches of Evander Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson.
THE HOLLYWOOD THEATER
Experience acts like Tom Jones, Rodney Dangerfield and Jay Leno among other great performers in
this intimate 650-seat contemporary theater.
LA FEMME THEATER
A first for America and Las Vegas, a show direct from one of the hottest night spots in the world, the
original Crazy Horse in Paris, famous for its productions celebrating beautiful women and the art of
nude since 1951. 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. nightly, dark Tuesday. Guests must be 21 years of age
for admittance.
STUDIO 54
MGM Grand is home to Las Vegas’ hottest nightclub, Studio 54, featuring state-of-the-art sound,
video and lighting, live dancers, wall walkers, and chart-topping dance music. Voted “Best Dance Club”
for 2000, 2001 and 2002 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 22,000-square-foot nightclub offers
four dance floors and bars, an exclusive area on the second floor for invited guests, and several
semi-private lounges capable of accommodating up to 400 people. In celebration of the original
Studio 54, the nightclub features a gallery of black and white celebrity photographs taken by
paparazzo Felice Quinto at New York City’s original Studio 54, which defined ’70s pop culture with
its eclectic artwork, dramatic fashion and stylish attitude. 10:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. nightly. Guests
must be 21 years of age for admittance.
TABU
Tabú is a chic, cosmopolitan ultra lounge symbolizing everything beautiful, sophisticated and innovative. It is designed with a distinct combination of modern fashion and refined style. Tabú’s hosts,
whose fashion evolves as the evening progresses, provide tableside mixology, fine bottle service and
signature cocktails. From dynamic images bouncing from every surface, to tables with living, breathing imagery, Tabú strokes each of the senses but leaves everything to the imagination. Table reservations complete with fine bottle service are available. Open Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m.

THE PARK AT MGM GRAND
The Park at MGM Grand is the premier outdoor event venue in Las Vegas. This 10-acre facility
offers an open-air ambiance for picture-perfect parties, receptions, meetings and events. Located
adjacent to MGM Grand and the Grand Pool complex, the award-winning MGM Grand
Conference Center and the Grand Garden Arena, The Park provides convention groups a break

Set amid a lush landscape of graceful palms and flowering greenery, the magnificent new 6.6-acre
pool complex is a paradise of pools, spas, rivers, sparkling waterfalls, beautiful fountains, and
bridges. Located at the end of Studio Walk. 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily.
GRAND SPA & FITNESS
Immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of the new MGM Grand Spa and leave the world
behind. The Grand Spa offers a variety of luxurious body care treatments to renew and rejuvenate.
Choose from a complete menu of massages, facials, body treatments, and beauty services. Relax in a
steam room, sauna or whirlpool. Partake of fresh fruits and juices. Or work out in our spacious
fitness center that features free weights and the latest in resistance training. Located at the end of

A full-service hotel registration and ticketing desk is now available at McCarran International
Airport as an additional convenience for your delegates. We are located in the South baggage claim
area directly across from carousels No. 1 and No. 2, at the base of the escalators. This new and

ATTRITION
If your actual (consumed) guest room usage is less than what is outlined in your contract with
MGM Grand, or if that agreed upon block is reduced at any time, the actual number of guest rooms
not consumed will be charged at the group rate, plus prevailing taxes to your master account, less
rooms resold. See your Sales Manager for details.

MGM Grand takes great pride in its catered functions. We have established a reputation of having a
superior catering staff who excel in creating, planning and managing one-of-a-kind events for all
groups, large and small.
Our Executive Chef has made a strong and lasting commitment to use only the highest quality food
products available, all of which are prepared with the greatest of care and presented in the most creative ways.
Our experienced catering staff and culinary expertise far exceed the limitations of our printed
menus; therefore, we can custom tailor a gourmet dinner or theme party for your special events. The
only limitation for themed events is your imagination. (See MGM Grand Productions.)
Tablecloths and napkins are available in colors that will complement the decor of our function space.
Specialty linens are available at an additional charge through MGM Grand Productions.
Please note it is the policy of the hotel to provide all food and beverage for our guests; therefore,
MGM Grand does not permit food and/or beverages to be brought into the hotel for any catered functions.
CHECK CASHING
Check cashing for all MGM guests is handled at our Main Casino Cage located near the Hollywood
Theater. Hotel guests may cash preprinted checks totaling up to $1,000 during their stay. A major
credit card and valid U.S. driver’s license must accompany the check. Higher limits must be arranged
in advance, and approved by our Credit Manager on an individual basis. A company check made
payable to “MGM Grand” must have bank and hotel approval prior to arrival. A check of $10,000
or more will only be cashed with a corporate tax identification number. Cashier checks are accepted
only with prior approval.

CREDIT
Should you wish to establish a master account for the purpose of billing guest rooms, tax,
incidentals, and/or catered functions, an MGM Grand credit application must be filled out by the
responsible party and received by the hotel at least 90 days prior to your meeting dates. Estimated
charges must be at least $7,500.
The Credit Department will require a minimum 30% deposit, based on total estimated charges for
companies or organizations meeting at MGM Grand.
Additional deposits or full prepayment for all services may be required based upon the amount of
credit that is approved by MGM Grand.
Unless otherwise arranged, all guests will be responsible for their own guest room, food and beverage
and incidental charges.
DESTINATION MANAGEMENT COMPANIES (DMC)
A service company that provides creative itineraries and examplary management of logistics, based
on an in-depth knowledge of incentive programs, corporate meetings and conventions, with an
understanding of the psychology of these programs. A destination Management Company can
arrange Transportation, Tours, City and Restaurant Information, Entertainment, Speakers,
Distinctive Events, Youth and Spousal Programs and much more. See your Convention Services

MGM GRAND PRODUCTIONS
MGM Grand has its own in-house Audio-Visual Department, which features state-of-the-art
equipment and trained technicians. It is the policy of MGM Grand that all audio-visual requests be
directed through the Audio-Visual Department.
Labor is charged on all audio-visual equipment, including engineering and special services. All
audio-visual equipment set-up diagrams must be submitted no later than 45 days prior for functions
of 300 or more. (See Fire Marshall Regulations.)
A price list for audio-visual equipment including flip charts, easels, microphones, etc. can be
obtained from your Convention Services Manager or by contacting the Audio-Visual Department at

We take pleasure in welcoming you to the extraordinary world of MGM Grand Productions, MGM
Grand’s event production company. Whether planning a simple, informal gathering, or an opulent,

professional coordinators will assist you in all avenues of our full, in-house production services.
Any time an exhibit, production or decorating company is brought into the hotel, floor plans must be
approved by the fire department and proof of insurance must be received. Additionally, the subcontracted
company must read and sign policies and procedures prior to working at MGM Grand.
SHOW MOVE-IN / MOVE-OUT
Thirty (30) days prior to a show, the Convention Services Manager will contact the convention
meeting planner to review and confirm the move-in and move-out times and dates.
Move-in/move-out times are between 6 a.m. and midnight. The Convention Services Manager must
approve any exceptions to this time frame. Prior to move-in, a representative of the group, the
outside company and MGM Grand Security will walk the area for an official inspection.
At this time, cleanliness and state of repair will be noted, and any cleaning or repairs needed, will be
scheduled. This is for all areas the group will be utilizing, e.g., parking lot, driveways, loading dock,
service hallways, foyers, and actual exhibit area (including apron of permanent stage), etc.
The show will be inspected according to the Fire Marshal-approved floor plan. The group prior to
the show opening will correct any violation.
At the conclusion of each show move-out, a representative from the group, the outside company and
MGM Grand Security will walk the areas of MGM, both inside and out, for a final inspection.
Mutually agreed upon damages caused by the group or outside company will be recorded and
submitted to the Convention Services Manager who will, in turn, coordinate the repairs with the
Engineering Department. All labor and materials will be billed to the group at cost. Full payment is
required within thirty 30 days of billing date.
The outside company will be responsible for leaving all areas of MGM Grand in the same condition,
they were in prior to move-in, less normal wear and tear.
During exhibit shows, MGM Grand will only be responsible for areas where the hotel has provided
food and beverage.

THEME PARTIES/PROPS/DECOR

FIRE MARSHAL REGULATIONS
One month prior to your show, MGM must receive Fire Marshal-approved floor plans for any work
to be handled by an exhibit, production or decorating company. In addition, floor plans must be
submitted by the hotel to the Fire Marshal for any functions of 300 persons or more. Therefore, it is
necessary to have all audio-visual and set-up requirements for functions of 300 or more at least 45
days prior to the function date. Fire Marshal floorplan charges are $80 per plan and $140 per plan
to expedite within 10 days of the event.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
UNIFORM FIRE CODE - PERMIT INFORMATION
Clark County Ordinance No. 2289, Title 13, Chapter 13.04 Clark County Fire Department requires
that a floor plan must be submitted for approval by the Fire Inspector for every function of 300 or
more people or exhibits for 50 or more attendees.
Floor plans must be submitted to the Clark County Fire Department at least 21 calendar days
prior to start of the function.
MGM Grand is assessed fees by Clark County Fire Department:
Regular Permit $80.00
Expedite Permit* $140.00
The cost of the fire permit(s) will be billed to the group’s master account, pending approval.
Props and decor must be included on submitted floor plans.
All floor plans for functions being set up and produced by MGM Grand will be submitted to
the Fire Department by MGM Grand.
Any floor plans submitted by an outside production or decorating company must be reviewed and
authorized by MGM Grand Convention Services Manager prior to submitting.
Production or decorating companies must send a copy of the Fire Inspector approved plan to your
Convention Services Manager prior to actual move in. Set up will be delayed if we have not received
those plans.
Expedite Permit charges are assessed on each floor plan submitted less than 10 working days prior to
the function. MGM Grand will not be held responsible for functions that do not adhere to these
policies.

We’re happy to provide our guests with a full range of floral services. We have specialized designers
staffed to service large convention centerpieces, ballroom bouquets, exotic floral arrangements, and
European designs. We offer Teleflora wire service in order to send flowers for our guests off property

FOREIGN EXCHANGE
The Casino Cage maintains updated exchange rates and will exchange foreign currency.

Check-In/Checkout Times: Our guest check-in time is 3 p.m. If rooms are requested prior to checkin time, early arrivals will be accommodated, as rooms become available. Checkout time is 11 a.m.

MGM Grand’s 446-square foot deluxe guest rooms are among the largest rooms in Las Vegas. They

A comfortable 675-square foot petite suite with oversized bedroom connected to an extended living

A one-bedroom 675-square foot suite featuring one king bed, living room area with a couch, coffee table,

HOLLYWOOD SUITES
A one-bedroom 775-square foot suite featuring an oversized bedroom with a king-size bed, a television and a separate living room connected by two entrances to the central bathroom with separate
bath and shower. The living room also features a wet bar with refrigerator, a television and a dining
area that seats four. All the walls in this suite are windows offering a multi-directional view. Each
suite is located at the end of each tower and floors 1 - 12 only. May be used as Hospitality Suite.
MARQUEE SUITE
A two-bedroom 1,550-square foot suite features one king bed and a television in each room. Living
room area features two couches, two chairs with a coffee table and television, a large marble bar with
small refrigerator, mirrored doors, and a dining room table for six. Includes two separate bathroom
areas, master bathroom contains jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower, dual vanities, all decorated

HOSPITALITY SUITES
Our Hollywood Suite or Marquee Suite may be used for a Hospitality Suite. MGM does not

The delivery of newspapers may be arranged with our Bell Captain. There is a delivery charge of $2

METHODS OF RESERVATIONS
Reservations for your participants can be handled several ways:
Rooming list, indicating full names and addresses of guests, arrival and departure dates,
smoking /non-smoking preference, and pairing for shared rooms. (See attached sample.)
Use your own housing request forms. We must approve printed copy prior to distribution
to your attendees.
Individual call-in to our Reservations Department (1-800-929-1111). In order to
receive your preferred convention rate, delegates must identify their affiliation with your convention and confirm the reservation prior to the agreed cut-off date.
RESERVATION GUARANTEE
Reservations may be guaranteed to the master account, to individual credit cards or by sending a one
night’s deposit. All individual room reservations need to be guaranteed at the time of booking to
confirm a reservation. If a major credit card number is provided in lieu of a cash deposit, a one
night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card at that time.
CUT-OFF DATES
All reservations must be received by the cut-off date as indicated in your contract. Room blocks will
be released on the cut-off date. Any reservations received after this date will be confirmed on a space
and rate availability basis.
ROOM BLOCKS
Your contract will indicate any attrition charges that may be incurred should you not fulfill your
room block.
SAFETY - MGM GRAND CONFERENCE CENTER
Welcome to MGM Grand Conference Center. Our goal is to provide you and your group with the
premier conference experience and assist you to maximize results. The following guidelines are provided to help assure the safety of your group while at MGM Grand.
FIRE PREVENTION is one of our primary safety concerns. MGM Grand Conference Center is
equipped with a state-of-the-art fire prevention and sprinkler system with 24-hour monitor control
by MGM Grand personnel. In the event of a fire, call 55911 on a house phone to report the incident. In order for the system to be fully effective it is most important that there is no interference
with sprinkler heads, fire extinguishers and fire exit doors. It is also important to assure that you
never block designated emergency exits and pathways with displays, stanchions, freight, or other
materials. Your Convention Services Manager (CSM) must approve all displays and decorations.
Mylar balloons are not allowed. All display decorations must be treated with fire retardant. Do not
bring any fuels or flammable materials into the Conference Center without clearance from your CSM.

MECHANICAL LIFT EQUIPMENT
and flame effects presentations must be presented to your CSM and approved by
the Clark County Fire Department. You must arrange to have such plans submitted to the Fire
Department. Operational procedures for Pyrotechnics and flame effects displays must be followed
according to the approved plan. MGM Grand Conference Center does not have the authority to
allow changes to your plans that have been approved by the Fire Department. See your CSM for
additional requirements regarding pyrotechnics.

Note that shipments consigned to an exhibitor for a trade show booth will be refused and transferred

HANDLING CHARGES (SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE)
The dimensions of freight items are limited to 5’x5’x5’, total weight not to exceed 15,000 lbs. per
event. Shipments in excess of these dimensions or weight should be referred to a local exhibit company for special handling. Multiple package shipments, which weigh over 100 lbs., will be classified
as freight and will be charged accordingly.
Certified weight tickets or bills of lading are required for all shipments. Documents must be faxed to
MGM Grand Business Center (702) 891-3036 not later than five business days prior to the arrival
of shipment. Shipments arriving without prior arrangements may be refused.
MGM Grand personnel will handle freight and package processing only. Any shipment received
from carriers prior to move-in date will be charged a storage fee of $5 per 100 lbs./cwt. per day. At
the end of your event, items will be picked up from your location and delivered to the common carrier. All shipments must be crated or palletized and shrink-wrapped to be accepted by MGM Grand.
Inbound and outbound labor charges are based on the incoming weight. All weights are rounded off
to the nearest 100 lbs./cwt. There is a minimum charge of $55 per shipment. The above rates do not
include skidding, unskidding, shrink-wrapping, or in-house movement. The hourly labor rate for
these services is $50. Minimum charge is $50.

SIGNAGE
Electronic signs are provided above all meeting rooms in the Conference Center, as well as, six (6)
large electronic reader boards listing all of the events in time order. In the event additional signage
is required, you will need to submit a request in writing and include a sample of the signage and
planned locations.
Additional signage is not permitted until you have received approval from your Convention Services
or Catering Manager. If approval has been granted, all signs must be 28” high x 22” wide, professionally printed and flame retardant. MGM Grand will provide sign stanchions. MGM Grand
Productions must hang all banners at prevailing rates. Affixing any materials to the walls, floors,
ceilings, or furnishings is not permitted.
SPOUSE PROGRAMS
Fashion shows, models, property tours, sightseeing tours, gaming seminars, shopping tours, and
more, can be arranged by a Destination Management Company.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Single line phones, conference phones and High Speed Internet access lines are available through our
MGM Telecommunications Department. See enclosed form for price structure. High speed lines are
available in double queen bedded guest rooms.
TELEVISION CHANNEL
MGM offers an in-house television channel, which may be rented by in-house conventions, subject
to the approval of the hotel’s management. The charge is $1,200 per day, subject to change.

Clark County was created February 5, 1908. Its name honors William A. Clark, the U.S. Senator

BONNIE SPRINGS/OLD NEVADA
This is an Old Western town in Red Rock Canyon 16 miles (25.6 km) west of Las Vegas with a
motel, shops, activities, and Western shootouts.
DEATH VALLEY
Located 135 miles (216 km) from Las Vegas, and 40 minutes by plane, Death Valley is the lowest
elevation on the North American continent at 280 feet (84.93 meters) below sea level. Death Valley
features Zabriskie Point, 20 Mule Canyon and Scotty’s Castle. Tours are available.
GRAND CANYON
This natural wonder lies about 300 miles (480 km) from Las Vegas, a 1-hour flight by plane.

HOOVER DAM
Located 34 miles (54.4 km) from Las Vegas, this engineering wonder of the modern world stands
726 feet high (220 meters) from bedrock. More than 32 million visitors have toured the dam since it
opened. Tours inside and outside of the dam as well as raft tours below the dam are available.
LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA
Lake Mead is only 25 miles (40 km) from Las Vegas at the closest point, and has more than 550
miles (880 km) of shoreline. Swimming, water skiing, camping, boating, fishing, six marinas, and
tours are available.
MT. CHARLESTON
Mt. Charleston is only 35 miles (56 km) from Las Vegas, and reaches an elevation of 11, 918 feet
(3,615 meters). Winter skiing, picnicking, hiking, horseback riding, and tours are available.
RED ROCK CANYON
Red Rock Canyon is a scenic area of rock formations and desert 15 miles (24 km) west of Las Vegas.
Visit the Bureau of Land Management Visitor’s Center or view the 3,000-foot (910-meter)
escarpment produced by a thrust fault. Fees: $5 cars, $2 motorcycles.
VALLEY OF FIRE STATE PARK
Valley of Fire State Park, 55 miles (88 km) from Las Vegas, offers scenic landscapes of hidden
canyons, unique rock formations, petroglyphs, and remains of ancient Indian civilization. A Nevada
Park Service Visitor’s Center and tours are available. An entry fee is charged.

LOCATION
Centrally located in the Las Vegas Valley, the Las Vegas Convention Center offers convenient and
quick access to more than 78,000 guest rooms within three miles. Only three miles away, downtown’s Casino Center provides over 8,300 rooms. McCarran International Airport and Las Vegas’
business district are also within minutes of the Convention Center – both just three miles away.
FACILITIES
America’s largest single-level convention facility, the Las Vegas Convention Center is one of the most
modern and functional facilities in the country with 1.9 million square feet of exhibit and meeting
space. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and the Las Vegas Convention Center are
located at 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109-9096.
More than 1 million square feet are available for exhibit space, while 107 meeting rooms (more than
189,000 square feet) handle seating capacities ranging from 20 to 7,500. A grand lobby and
registration area (more than 109,000 square feet) efficiently links existing exhibit halls with new
meeting rooms, making the complex so versatile it allows simultaneous set-up, breakdown and
exhibiting. An expansive atrium lobby welcomes visitors to the Las Vegas Convention Center, a
complex more than capable of handling the 120 percent growth in Las Vegas’ convention attendance
during the past decade.

the 14,623 square-foot Banners Restaurant provides comfortable seating for up to 623. Event services
include a master antenna system and local or closed-circuit television for video tape recording and
audio recording rooms at a nominal fee; a housing bureau for your association operated at no charge
by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority; and registration services such as clerk typists,

McCarran serves 63 air carriers including:
26 scheduled – three helicopter services – four commuters – 30 seasonal charters, including one
weekly non-stop from Europe.
McCarran offers non-stop flights to 72 cities, one European city and one city in Japan. McCarran is
a Class A port-of-entry, and the airport has international signage. The terminal is 2.5 million square
feet (232 square meters) with 93 gates and covers 2,820 acres.
The Automated Transit Station (ATS), the people mover system that travels to C and D gates and
the moving pedestrian walkways facilitate movement in the airport. Terminal 1 baggage claim serves
A, B, C, and D gates. The baggage claim for charter and international travelers is in Terminal 2.
McCarran Airport Parking Plaza offers short-term and long-term parking. Valet parking is located on
the third level of the Silver Garage and is available 24 hours a day. Rates: $3 first hour; $10 per day.
McCarran International Airport is a one-mile (1.6-km) drive from the Strip, 3.5 miles (5.6 km)
from the Convention Center and 5 miles (8 km) from downtown Las Vegas. A number of car rental
agencies, shuttles and taxis are available at McCarran to transport delegates to their convention destination.
McCarran is among the 10 busiest airports in the nation based on the amount of passenger activity
(as of 2000) and averages 800 flights a day. In 2000, 36.8 million passengers passed through McCarran.

Chinese restaurant is flanked on three sides by gardens and

Shintaro:
Authentically prepared teppan yaki and sushi, with multi course
Pacific Rim tasting menus are featured in this modern dining room

The second generation of the Maccioni family, Sirio and Egidiana’s

inspired by the Maccioni matriarch, Egidiana. The romantic

Prime:
World renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten brings steak
house dining to new heights. This stylish room is located lakefront
