MGM Resorts International, in partnership with the UNLV Runnin’
Rebel Basketball Program, 8 News NOW, Silver State Schools
Credit Union, and the Clark County School District School-Community
Partnership Program, are proud to announce the MGM RESORTS
INTERNATIONAL TEACHER OF THE GAME Recognition Program.
★ One teacher will be selected and recognized
at each UNLV Runnin’ Rebel home game.
★ Prior to the game, 8 News NOW will videotape each winning teacher at their school.
★ The teacher selected for each game will be
offered reserved seating and will be recognized
at that game.
★ All teachers who are selected will receive a
“Teacher of the Game” All Star Team jersey.

★ All teachers who are selected will receive
dinner and show tickets for two at any MGM
Resorts International property in addition
to one night hotel accommodations.
★ All teachers will receive $500.00
from Silver State Schools Credit Union
for education purposes.
★ On game day, 8 News NOW anchor
Denise Valdez will share the story with
Channel 8 viewers.
