PORCH COMPANY PVC PANEL AND DECKORATOR RAILING Installation Instructions +1-615-662-2886 | [email protected] | www.Porch-Store.com Assumption: Your deck is built, your decking is down and your 4x4 core posts are secured. Note: Deckorator railings come in 6' and 8' lengths. So make sure your posts are set accordingly. 1. ATTACH POST SLEEVES Cut 4x4 core posts 36" - 40" above deck level. Slide 40" post sleeve over 4x4 post. 2. ADD POST SKIRT Snap post skirt pieces together and slip over top of post sleeve. 3. MARK BRACKET HOLES TO PRE-DRILL Place template against post sleeve and mark bracket holes as directed. Make sure you are placing the bottom of the folded template at the top of the post skirt. Also, make sure you are not marking holes for stair brackets. 4. PRE-DRILL HOLES AT TOP AND BOTTOM OF POST SLEEVES 6. PLACE PANEL BETWEEN POSTS AND SCREW IN UPPER BRACKETS Lift PVC Panel right side up and sit the lower rail with the PVC Panel SCREW UPPER INNER RAIL INTO PVC PANEL Place upper inner rail between brackets and on top of PVC Panel. (Install with wide groove down.) Drill down from the top of the inner rail into the PVC Panel using pre-drilled holes. (Once again, make sure panel is centered). 15. FASTEN UPPER INNER RAIL TO BRACKET Screw upper brackets into upper inner rail using provided screws. 17. PRE-DRILL HOLES THROUGH UPPER INNER RAIL Using a drill bit that fits the diameter of your 2" screw, pre-drill two slightly angled holes (one on either end) through the inner rail on the deck side. 18. ATTACH POST CAP Apply PVC glue to the inside of the post caps and slide on top of sleeves. 19. MARVEL
