Installation Instructions

Assumption: Your deck is built, your decking is down and
your 4x4 core posts are secured. Note: Deckorator railings
come in 6' and 8' lengths. So make sure your posts are set
accordingly.
1.
ATTACH POST SLEEVES
Cut 4x4 core
posts 36" - 40"
above deck
level. Slide 40"
post sleeve over
4x4 post.
2.
ADD POST SKIRT
Snap post skirt pieces together and
slip over top of post sleeve.
3.
MARK BRACKET HOLES TO PRE-DRILL
Place template
against post
sleeve and mark
bracket holes as
directed.
Make sure you are placing the
bottom of the folded template at
the top of the post skirt. Also,
make sure you are not marking
holes for stair brackets.

SCREW LOWER BRACKETS
Screw lower brackets into place using
supplied screws (upper brackets will
be installed later).
CUT INNER AND OUTER RAILS
TO LENGTH

Cut both outer rails to the length
you measured. You want a good
tight fit here.
Cut both inner rails 1/4" shorter
than this length.
Note: The inner rails have a
narrow groove on the top and
wide groove on the bottom. For
both rails, when installing, keep
the wide groove down.

Butt your pre-cut panels together
and clamp at the seams. Flip the
PVC panel upside down and flip
the lower outer rail upside down
and place on panel.

SCREW LOWER OUTER RAIL

Screw the top brackets into place
using the pre-drilled holes from step

Make sure PVC Panel rests in the
middle of the base rail and drill into
panel using pre-drilled holes and 1
5/8" stainless steel screw (not
provided). If joining PVC Panels,

Note: Do not over tighten
screws. Add additional screws
at panel joints as needed.

PLACE PANEL BETWEEN POSTS AND
SCREW IN UPPER BRACKETS
Lift PVC Panel right side up and sit
the lower rail with the PVC Panel

PVC PANEL
Place upper inner rail between
brackets and on top of PVC Panel.
(Install with wide groove down.)
Drill down from the top of the inner
rail into the PVC Panel using
pre-drilled holes. (Once again, make
sure panel is centered).

FASTEN UPPER INNER RAIL
TO BRACKET
Screw upper brackets into upper
inner rail using provided screws.

ATTACH UPPER OUTER RAIL
Place upper outer rail over upper
inner rail and screw through
pre-drilled holes from the bottom up
with a 2" screw (not provided).

PRE-DRILL HOLES THROUGH UPPER
INNER RAIL
Using a drill bit that fits the diameter
of your 2" screw, pre-drill two slightly
angled holes (one on either end)
through the inner rail on the deck
side.

ATTACH POST CAP
Apply PVC glue
to the inside of
the post caps
and slide on top
of sleeves.
