DESCRIPTION:
Free guided visit of 50 minutes to know the history of
this thermal complex, and the one of Alhama de Murcia, that is intimately linked to its hot springs. The Archaeological Museum Los Baños preserves the remains
of the termal baths constructed by Romans in the 1st
century A.D and that were re-used in the Islamic period
and by the Spa Hotel of the 19th century.

The Castle of Alhama is a fortress built in the Islamic
period in the late 11th century. During the visit you will
visit the interior of the Keep, and two defensive areas:
the citadel on the top, and the space for shelter and
residence of the population at the bottom. The departure point is the garden of The Archaeological Museum los
Baños.
