Our Greatest Asset – Our People
Like many of you,
without a doubt
the greatest asset
in our business
is our PEOPLE!
You simply must
surround yourself
with the best people
possible to truly be successful in today’s
competitive business environment.
We certainly feel that way
about our Grapevine Chamber
of Commerce staff, and we
would like to share the primary
responsibilities they each take on
for our organization.
CEO, RaDonna Hessel, provides
the direction, leadership and
daily focus so crucial to the 5-Star
Accredited Chamber we have
today.
There is a reason we have almost
900 members in our Chamber, and
that responsibility is championed
by Director of Membership
Development and Manager of

programs where he provides his
leadership and organizational skills.
Michael has also taken on the role
of office management, handling the

AMBASSADOR OF THE MONTH
Matt Pluta
Matt has over 25 years of
experience in the printing industry
and recently joined Jarvis Press,
an RR Donnelley company, as an
Account Executive. Jarvis Press
specializes in digital printing,
which allows companies to
personalize their materials and
make a one-to-one connection
with their audience. RR Donnelley
also has an extensive network of commercial print facilities
across the country, giving Matt the ability to provide solutions
for many of your marketing and print needs. He believes his
experience in the industry is what sets him apart. “I started
as a paper mill rep, then sold color separations (remember
those?), and finally offset, web and digital printing,” says Matt.

Must Be Present to Win!
Those present at the February Membership Luncheon saw
the “Must Be Present to Win” Drawing continue its climb. The
prize is now up to $300 for March. Each month at the Chamber’s
Membership Luncheon, the drawing grows as long as the person whose
name is called is not in attendance. To win, all you have to do is show
up and hear your name be called! How easy is that? All Chamber
members are eligible to win, thanks to the sponsorship from First
Financial Bank, NA.
Watch out for scammers posing as representatives from theAmerican
Chamber of Commerce. They are targeting small business owners and
their employees. The “chamber representative” will ask to verify general
business information as well as employee information.
The Catch:
There is no American Chamber of Commerce. Further, it should not
be confused with the legitimate organization - the U.S. Chamber of
Commerce. Don’t confirm any information with these scammers. Any
information that you supply will be sold on the black market and used
for corporate identity theft or to target your business for a myriad of
other scams.
Bottom Line:
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the American
Chamber of Commerce, simply hang up.

Busines Owners Day
March 29th
Celebrating Small Business and their Owners
Grapevine is the mecca for small businesses that create shopping, dining and entertainment experiences
unlike anywhere else in DFW. This day recognizes those individuals who spend countless hours building
and developing their young enterprises. High workload demands and lack of a hired staff, often translates
into long and late hours with limited time off, but all in all, they love what they do.
Plus, they get to be their own boss!
Celebrate National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day by showing your support....
Shop at the many one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques in located in the heart of
Historic Downtown Grapevine today, and everyday!
On this day only, NJ is offering 30% off on printing to all small business owners in Grapevine.
* Print ready file, house stock, artwork additional.
