Those present at the February Membership Luncheon saw the “Must Be Present to Win” Drawing continue its climb. The prize is now up to $300 for March. Each month at the Chamber’s Membership Luncheon, the drawing grows as long as the person whose name is called is not in attendance. To win, all you have to do is show up and hear your name be called! How easy is that? All Chamber members are eligible to win, thanks to the sponsorship from First Financial Bank, NA. Watch out for scammers posing as representatives from theAmerican Chamber of Commerce. They are targeting small business owners and their employees. The “chamber representative” will ask to verify general business information as well as employee information. The Catch: There is no American Chamber of Commerce. Further, it should not be confused with the legitimate organization - the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Don’t confirm any information with these scammers. Any information that you supply will be sold on the black market and used for corporate identity theft or to target your business for a myriad of other scams. Bottom Line: If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the American Chamber of Commerce, simply hang up.
