1 Core Stores and Management
3 DFI/DFP Assembly
•Extensive global core sourcing to ensure range

•All worn or critical parts are replaced with genuine OE items,
e.g.: nozzles, valves, seals and bearings
•This is done in special, industry leading assembly rooms that
conform to ISO 14644-1 Class 7 Clean Room standards
•Only approved assembly methods and equipment are used,
all assembly staff are fully trained in OE factory processes
2 Component Assessment
•Every product fully dismantled to constituent parts
•Non-wearing and non-degrading parts such as housings
and casing are inspected for wear and checked using
NDT methods
•Conducted in a segregated and enclosed workshop to avoid
contamination during the remanufacturing process
•Cleaned by a number of advanced methods to prepare
for re-use
4 Test & validation
•Carwood has made a large investment in test equipment to
ensure the most up to date standards are met
•Every pump and injector is tested to the latest OEM test plan
on the OEM specified test equipment
•All test and calibration engineers are fully qualified
•Testing on CRI and CRP is automated and computerised to
ensure full compliance with the test plan

•Every unit that passes the testing and calibration process is
stamped or engraved with a unique identification number to
ensure full traceability and quality control
•Where an injector requires a code for programming into the
vehicle ECU it is labelled on both the unit and the packaging
to enable correct installation and performance
•Every unit is capped and sealed before transfer to the stores
to avoid any particulate contamination
•A team of dedicated staff take orders and enquiries
•Orders are taken up to 4.30pm for next day delivery
•Application and cross reference information is provided over
the phone or by email
•A special technical helpline is available to distributors and
end users to assist with installation and diagnostic issues

Carwood Diesel Systems is one of 4 main company locations
in the UK. The Group Head Office is based at Coventry where
additional diesel remanufacturing takes place for the Ministry of
Defence, Royal Navy and other specialist customers. Carwood
Coventry hosts the export and Defence operations as well
as Parts, Electrical Remanufacturing and Technical Services.
At Ollerton near Mansfield, Carwood also has a factory for
remanufacturing Electrical products including Starters and
Alternators as well as Turbochargers.
