Andrew Boys’ Soccer has raised and donated money to the Tinley
Wish Foundation since 2007. The foundation helps families that
have fallen on difficult times. Tinley Wish and its volunteers enjoy
giving these families help. The Boys’ Varsity players’ families donated candy to be sold by the players. Led by Junior Dakota Stariha
(pictured with Sgt. Sullivan), the players sold candy every day for a
week during the lunch periods. The Freshmen & Junior Varsity
teams made cash donations to the fund raising event.
On October 9th, at the boys’ senior night game against Bradley,
the freshmen team asked for donations at the gate and adult
volunteers ran a split the pot raffle that was helpful in collecting
additional money. In the end, a donation of $1080 and a Sanfratello’s
$40 gift certificate were given to the Tinley Wish Foundation.
This is a great event that brings some families in Tinley a little joy,
thanks to the boys’ efforts.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
ATHLETIC BOOSTERS
Dear Andrew High School Community,
Plan to attend our next monthly Athletic Booster Club meetings. All
members are invited. Next Meeting: Our next Booster Club meeting
is Wednesday, February 11th at 7 pm in the faculty lunch room. We
ask all winter team reps to attend. It is also a great way to become
involved. Please come and see what we are all about.
Happy February! I always love a month that decides to go rogue and offer less than 30 days,
but sometimes adds a day just because. The winter, as usual, has been a challenge. However,
February is jammed with events, activities, and great opportunities for our T-Bolts.
One of our most important days for juniors comes in February. Our Guidance Department,
through the outstanding effort of our counselors, is hosting our third College Visit Day on
February 26th. All juniors will have the opportunity to attend a “college fair” setting in the
South Gym where over 60 colleges, universities, and trade schools will be on hand to provide
information, answer questions, and introduce their programs. During T-Bolt Time, a limited
number of sophomores and seniors can sign up to participate as well. This is a great opportunity
for our T-Bolts as they are quickly deciding their future plans and where they plan to go next.
February provides plenty of fun for all. The upperclassmen get to showcase their talents at the
annual Prom Fashion Show on February 3rd. Our second school dance open to students “Just
Dance” takes place on February 7th. No dates, no fancy dresses, because our Student Council
encourages all of our T-Bolts to come out and, wait for it, just dance!
Also, we take the opportunity on February 25th to host our Senior Academic Award Night.
This event honors roughly 70 members of the Class of 2015 who have reached
outstanding heights in academics during their tenure at Andrew. We honor those in the
Top Tenth Percentile, Departmental Award winners, and PSAE and National Merit
Scholars. We also honor 10 outstanding seniors with the T-Bolt Award, which is
based on academic performance, service to the community, and school
participation. This is a great night that honors nearly four years of hard work.
In the final update regarding the School Improvement Plan, we
would like to showcase our goal to continue to increase student
involvement in co-curricular programs. Research has indicated that students
that participate in these activities are more successful in school, and life after high
school, than those that do not. At Andrew, we have been very successful as
between 75-80% of our students have participated in these activities. This
year, our student leaders are taking on initiatives to attract the 20% who, last
year, did not participate in any activities, and to encourage them to do so.
With this effort, we wish to continue to raise this number of participation
up closer to 100%!
Thank you again for sending your sons and daughters to Andrew
High School. As we continue to try to improve our school-community,
please feel free to share ideas or ask questions. I can be reached at
[email protected].

Andrew Athletics Update
It is hard to believe that the winter sports’
season is over half way done. As the
excitement of the Christmas tournaments
dies into the January/February sport season,
the winter teams prepare for the final stretch
of the conference and looking toward the
state tourneys.
The Boys’ Bowling team is the first team to
complete their season as they entered
regional play in the IHSA State Series on
January 17th, culminating with the State
finals the last weekend in January. The boys’
bowling team has a target on their backs with
the success they have received over the past
5 years. The team will continue to roll as
they prepare to take home some hardware!
The Girls’ Bowling team continues to improve
as they look to get into position to challenge
at regionals. The team has been through
tough competition and they are poised and
ready for what is to come. The SWSC Red
Division tourney took place on January 24th,
followed by the IHSA state series in early
February, and the State finals on February
21st-22nd. The girls are not ready to give up
and plan on peaking in February.
The Andrew Cheer coaching staff is very
excited about the competitive season and
very proud of the progress the cheerleaders
are making. The cheerleaders began their
competition season in December with a road
trip to Pontiac. With great finishes, including
winning the ICCA regional at Andrew as well
as capturing 1st place at the ICCA finals in
Springfield, the Bolts continued to strive for
greatness as they pursued the SWSC title
here on January 24th, and the IHSA
Sectional on the January 31st. This is the
year that they want to bring home some
hardware.
and pick up some hardware along the way.
When it is cold outside, it is always warm in
the pool.
The Girls’ Gymnastics team has been
working harder than ever to reach their goal
to place in the top two at conference. In spite
of the graduation of their only senior and top
gymnast from last year, the team is focused
on the 2014-15 season to be their best ever.
The team has some experience and a will to
be better in February than they are now.
Girls’ Basketball has gotten off to a tough
start with some strong competition and some
unfortunate injuries and distractions. As the
season progresses, so too should the level of
their play. If a few key factors work out as
they hope, it could be a very fun year
watching the Lady T-Bolts on the court. As
the team chemistry continues to develop, the
girls and coaches are excited to find out just
how far they can go!! The IHSA State series
starts the 2nd week of February.
The Wrestling team will be looking for
leadership from their senior grapplers, plus a
large number of underclass wrestlers who will
look to them for guidance. They have a new
energy in the wrestling room that should carry
over to the mats. The competition for the
wrestling team will get even tougher as our
wrestlers square off against some of the
strongest competition in the State at the
SWSC Conference tournament and the IHSA
state series. The SWSC Conference was
January 23rd-24th at Sandburg, followed by
the IHSA state series, ending with the State
finals in Champaign February 20th-21st.
Boys’ Swimming and Diving used January to
get their times down and get ready for the
Conference and State meets in February.
With a number of solid upperclassmen who
had a taste of success last year, this year the
team plans on accomplishing some great
things. They have a number of Invitationals
along the way with the SWSC meet on
February 6th-7th at Lincoln-Way North
followed by the IHSA State series in late
February. The team fully plans to take a
large group of swimmers to the State finals
The Boys’ Basketball team has been battling
despite finding victories hard to come by.
What the team lacks in size they make up for
in hustle, toughness, and attitude. When you
watch this team just see how hard they play
and how many times they are diving for loose
balls and getting floor burns. They are
determined to make people take notice by
their play.
The Competitive Dance team is ready for an
exciting winter season. They began their
competitive season in December at the
Eisenhower Invitational. Their winter season
includes not only performing at half-time of
the boys’ home basketball games and
competing locally, but they also hosted a
contest on January 10th with over 50 schools
in attendance. The IHSA sectional took place
on January 24th. As this sport continues to
evolve, look for the competitive dance squad
to “step up” their game and go toe-to-toe with
other teams.

Business Department
The world of Business is changing and so is the Business
Department at Victor J. Andrew High School. We realize that it is
not only important for the students to know the curriculum, but the
leading companies are telling us that they also need employees that
can work on projects and in teams. As we align our curriculum to the
Common Core, we are creating units that focus around concepts that
can be taught in a small group environment. This allows the students
to interact with the curriculum, which will help them learn the concepts
for the long term.
The two most popular classes in the Business Department are Word
Applications / Keyboarding and General Business. In the Word
Applications / Keyboarding course, students learn the shortcuts of
Microsoft Word, how to use the different apps in Google, and proper
technique to improve keyboarding speed and accuracy. These are
skills that they will use their entire lives. General Business is a
course that not only meets the consumer education graduation
requirement, but also introduces many of the core business concepts
that are taught in the rest of the business curriculum. The curriculum
has been written in a manner that allows the students to interact with
the curriculum through projects they work on in small groups.
Accounting, Honors Accounting, or the College Skills course.
The College Skills class helps your child gain skills they will use as
they transition to college, working on everything from the application
process to adjusting to the college course load. Introduction to
Accounting is a new semester class for students who aren’t positive if
they want to major in Business in college so they only want to commit
a semester to see if it is a match for them. The Honors Accounting
class is a rigorous accounting class that is aligned with the curriculum
from Kansas State University. This course is designed for students
who know they want to major in Business in college and want to get
a head start on their college level learning. If a career in law is what
your child desires, we would suggest they take either Personal Law
or Business Law. If your child is interested in learning more about
the work place they can enroll in our Career Internship course. This
course allows students to earn credit for their class work and for their
work based experience. If your child wants to learn about starting a
business and being their own boss, we would encourage them to
sign up for Entrepreneurship. This course teaches the students
how to write a business plan and all of the details that go along with
owning their own business.
If your child is interested in technology, then they may be interested
in taking our Web Design course. The students in this course learn
how to code web pages, and for a final project, they design a website
for a local business. If your child is thinking about being a business
major in college, they might want to take an Introduction to
Outside the classroom, students can participate in the Business
Professionals of America (BPA) club, DECA (Distributive Education
Careers of America) club, or participate in Skills USA. All three of
these organizations allow students the opportunity to apply what they
have learned in the classroom in competitions between other schools.

AP Test Registration
A.C.T. Registration
Students enrolled in Advanced Placement
courses are encouraged to take the College
Board AP Exam administered in May. For
those students that did not register in
November, there is a second opportunity
during Semester 2. Registration forms can
be picked up in the Guidance Department or
in the Main Office, and are due with payment
by February 27th. The fee for each exam is
$91. If a student needs to request a refund
it must be received no later than February
27th. After that date, no refunds will be
given as the order for exams to College
Board will be placed.
Because all juniors will be taking a free
A.C.T. test in March, as a part of the
Prairie State Exam, some students and
parents wonder if there is any reason to
sign up and pay for an additional exam.
While it is up to each family to decide,
research indicates that many students
earn a better score when they retake the
test. Students choosing to take an addi-
College Plans For Juniors
If possible, now is the time for juniors to
make plans to visit colleges over spring
break.
Early Graduation
Next year, seniors who will have enough
credits to graduate by the end of their
seventh semester may wish to consider
a mid-year graduation. While we do not
encourage this option, it is available to
qualified seniors. For further information
please contact your student’s counselor
prior to the end of the school year.
Scholarships Awarded
If you have been awarded a scholarship,
please let Mrs. Driscoll know by emailing
her at [email protected].
Include the following information:
1. Name of University or organization
awarding the scholarship
2. Title/name of the award or
scholarship
3. Amount of the award for each
year over 4 years
(if applicable)
The amount of the awards
will be kept confidential.

tional exam should sign up online at
act.org. There are test centers throughout
the nation. Andrew will offer a national
test on Saturday, April 18th and Saturday,
June 13th. Seats are limited, so it is in
the student’s best interest to sign up as
soon as possible if there is a desire to
take the test more than once.
This is a great opportunity to visit
colleges—and a timely one as well.
Juniors should have their college choices
narrowed down by the time they return to
school next year. Without a campus
visit, it is difficult to make these choices.
If parents or students need assistance,
please contact the Guidance Office, or
refer to the packet of information distributed to juniors earlier in the school year.
College And Career Fair For Juniors
On Thursday, February 26th, junior students will be able to explore their post
high school opportunities with a variety of
colleges and career certificate programs
during periods 2 & 3. Your student will
receive a preview page of those colleges
participating, indicating the college’s
5 key programs, prior to the 26th.
Please take a moment and review with
your student the preview page and begin
those all-important conversations about
“life after high school”.
Bright Futures Begin With College Planning –
Freshmen Through Seniors
It is never too early to think about your
future. Right in our backyard is a great
college fair opportunity. On Tuesday,
March 3rd, from 6:30-8:00 pm, Lewis
University will host the Illinois College
Exposition. This area college fair is a
great place to start planning your future.
You can meet representatives from
dozens of in-state and out-of-state
colleges and universities.
Students took time out of their day on December 8 to donate blood. Andrew High School students and staff had 86 donations and helped
support 258 lives with the blood drive. The blood drive is sponsored by LifeSource and the Senior Class Council. The next blood drive will
be held on April 14, 2015.
From The Nurse’s Office
All Junior Students
Beginning with the school year 2015-2016, any child entering
12th grade in the State of Illinois shall show proof of having received
one dose of Meningococcal conjugate vaccine on or after their
16th birthday. If you child received a dose of Meningococcal conjugate
vaccine before their 16th birthday, he/she will need a second dose.
The following action is needed from you at this time:
Paying For College Becomes More Difficult
As the cost of college becomes greater,
the federal government has gradually
reduced the percentage of loan money
awarded to students. This forces students to take out private loans that are
offered at higher interest rates. It is,
therefore, very important for families to
look into as many opportunities as possible to save money. One popular way for
students planning on attending 4-year universities is to enroll in summer school
classes at Moraine Valley or other local
schools with less expensive tuition. Just
be sure that any classes taken at these
schools will transfer to the school you
plan to attend in the fall. Students and
parents are wise to stay alert to scholarship opportunities offered locally as well.
Make sure students are listening to PA
announcements and talking with their
counselors about potential scholarships.
● If a dose of Meningococcal vaccine was given on or after your
child’s 16th birthday, ask your doctor to verify that your child has
received the Meningococcal vaccine and the date it was given.
All Junior students were sent a form in the mail that needs to be
filled out by the physician.
● If your child did not receive the required Meningococcal vaccine
on or after their 16th birthday, he/she will be required to have the
immunization prior to the start of school in August 2015.
Proof of having received the Meningococcal vaccine should be
submitted to the School Nurse as soon as the vaccine is given.
Failing to complete this process prior to Schedule Pick-Up in August
will result in your child being unable to receive a schedule or begin
the school year on the first day of class.
Attention Incoming Freshman
Class of 2019
It’s never too early to start thinking about the required
school physical and immunizations for high school.
Call your doctor to schedule your appointment early to
avoid delays in Schedule Pick-Up in August. Forms
can be located on the VJA Nurse’s Page on the school
website: http://Andrew.d230.org/resources/nursesoffice/
A packet with information and required forms were distributed at Freshman Registration on Saturday,
January 31, 2015. Completed forms are due to the
Nurse’s Office by June 1, 2015.

AP Test Registration
A.C.T. Registration
Students enrolled in Advanced Placement
courses are encouraged to take the College
Board AP Exam administered in May. For
those students that did not register in
November, there is a second opportunity
during Semester 2. Registration forms can
be picked up in the Guidance Department or
in the Main Office, and are due with payment
by February 27th. The fee for each exam is
$91. If a student needs to request a refund
it must be received no later than February
27th. After that date, no refunds will be
given as the order for exams to College
Board will be placed.
Because all juniors will be taking a free
A.C.T. test in March, as a part of the
Prairie State Exam, some students and
parents wonder if there is any reason to
sign up and pay for an additional exam.
While it is up to each family to decide,
research indicates that many students
earn a better score when they retake the
test. Students choosing to take an addi-
College Plans For Juniors
If possible, now is the time for juniors to
make plans to visit colleges over spring
break.
Early Graduation
Next year, seniors who will have enough
credits to graduate by the end of their
seventh semester may wish to consider
a mid-year graduation. While we do not
encourage this option, it is available to
qualified seniors. For further information
please contact your student’s counselor
prior to the end of the school year.
Scholarships Awarded
If you have been awarded a scholarship,
please let Mrs. Driscoll know by emailing
her at [email protected].
Include the following information:
1. Name of University or organization
awarding the scholarship
2. Title/name of the award or
scholarship
3. Amount of the award for each
year over 4 years
(if applicable)
The amount of the awards
will be kept confidential.

financial information if you
do not wish to do so.
tional exam should sign up online at
act.org. There are test centers throughout
the nation. Andrew will offer a national
test on Saturday, April 18th and Saturday,
June 13th. Seats are limited, so it is in
the student’s best interest to sign up as
soon as possible if there is a desire to
take the test more than once.
This is a great opportunity to visit
colleges—and a timely one as well.
Juniors should have their college choices
narrowed down by the time they return to
school next year. Without a campus
visit, it is difficult to make these choices.
If parents or students need assistance,
please contact the Guidance Office, or
refer to the packet of information distributed to juniors earlier in the school year.
College And Career Fair For Juniors
On Thursday, February 26th, junior students will be able to explore their post
high school opportunities with a variety of
colleges and career certificate programs
during periods 2 & 3. Your student will
receive a preview page of those colleges
participating, indicating the college’s
5 key programs, prior to the 26th.
Please take a moment and review with
your student the preview page and begin
those all-important conversations about
“life after high school”.
Bright Futures Begin With College Planning –
Freshmen Through Seniors
It is never too early to think about your
future. Right in our backyard is a great
college fair opportunity. On Tuesday,
March 3rd, from 6:30-8:00 pm, Lewis
University will host the Illinois College
Exposition. This area college fair is a
great place to start planning your future.
You can meet representatives from
dozens of in-state and out-of-state
colleges and universities.
Students took time out of their day on December 8 to donate blood. Andrew High School students and staff had 86 donations and helped
support 258 lives with the blood drive. The blood drive is sponsored by LifeSource and the Senior Class Council. The next blood drive will
be held on April 14, 2015.
From The Nurse’s Office
All Junior Students
Beginning with the school year 2015-2016, any child entering
12th grade in the State of Illinois shall show proof of having received
one dose of Meningococcal conjugate vaccine on or after their
16th birthday. If you child received a dose of Meningococcal conjugate
vaccine before their 16th birthday, he/she will need a second dose.
The following action is needed from you at this time:
Paying For College Becomes More Difficult
As the cost of college becomes greater,
the federal government has gradually
reduced the percentage of loan money
awarded to students. This forces students to take out private loans that are
offered at higher interest rates. It is,
therefore, very important for families to
look into as many opportunities as possible to save money. One popular way for
students planning on attending 4-year universities is to enroll in summer school
classes at Moraine Valley or other local
schools with less expensive tuition. Just
be sure that any classes taken at these
schools will transfer to the school you
plan to attend in the fall. Students and
parents are wise to stay alert to scholarship opportunities offered locally as well.
Make sure students are listening to PA
announcements and talking with their
counselors about potential scholarships.
● If a dose of Meningococcal vaccine was given on or after your
child’s 16th birthday, ask your doctor to verify that your child has
received the Meningococcal vaccine and the date it was given.
All Junior students were sent a form in the mail that needs to be
filled out by the physician.
● If your child did not receive the required Meningococcal vaccine
on or after their 16th birthday, he/she will be required to have the
immunization prior to the start of school in August 2015.
Proof of having received the Meningococcal vaccine should be
submitted to the School Nurse as soon as the vaccine is given.
Failing to complete this process prior to Schedule Pick-Up in August
will result in your child being unable to receive a schedule or begin
the school year on the first day of class.
Attention Incoming Freshman
Class of 2019
It’s never too early to start thinking about the required
school physical and immunizations for high school.
Call your doctor to schedule your appointment early to
avoid delays in Schedule Pick-Up in August. Forms
can be located on the VJA Nurse’s Page on the school
website: http://Andrew.d230.org/resources/nursesoffice/
A packet with information and required forms were distributed at Freshman Registration on Saturday,
January 31, 2015. Completed forms are due to the
Nurse’s Office by June 1, 2015.
In the Spring (exact dates TBA) our Junior and Senior
girls will hear a discussion on the importance of breast
self-exam and Pap tests in the prevention and early
detection of cancer. This presentation will take place
during regularly scheduled P.E. classes. If you have

Andrew Athletics Update
It is hard to believe that the winter sports’
season is over half way done. As the
excitement of the Christmas tournaments
dies into the January/February sport season,
the winter teams prepare for the final stretch
of the conference and looking toward the
state tourneys.
The Boys’ Bowling team is the first team to
complete their season as they entered
regional play in the IHSA State Series on
January 17th, culminating with the State
finals the last weekend in January. The boys’
bowling team has a target on their backs with
the success they have received over the past
5 years. The team will continue to roll as
they prepare to take home some hardware!
The Girls’ Bowling team continues to improve
as they look to get into position to challenge
at regionals. The team has been through
tough competition and they are poised and
ready for what is to come. The SWSC Red
Division tourney took place on January 24th,
followed by the IHSA state series in early
February, and the State finals on February
21st-22nd. The girls are not ready to give up
and plan on peaking in February.
The Andrew Cheer coaching staff is very
excited about the competitive season and
very proud of the progress the cheerleaders
are making. The cheerleaders began their
competition season in December with a road
trip to Pontiac. With great finishes, including
winning the ICCA regional at Andrew as well
as capturing 1st place at the ICCA finals in
Springfield, the Bolts continued to strive for
greatness as they pursued the SWSC title
here on January 24th, and the IHSA
Sectional on the January 31st. This is the
year that they want to bring home some
hardware.
and pick up some hardware along the way.
When it is cold outside, it is always warm in
the pool.
The Girls’ Gymnastics team has been
working harder than ever to reach their goal
to place in the top two at conference. In spite
of the graduation of their only senior and top
gymnast from last year, the team is focused
on the 2014-15 season to be their best ever.
The team has some experience and a will to
be better in February than they are now.
Girls’ Basketball has gotten off to a tough
start with some strong competition and some
unfortunate injuries and distractions. As the
season progresses, so too should the level of
their play. If a few key factors work out as
they hope, it could be a very fun year
watching the Lady T-Bolts on the court. As
the team chemistry continues to develop, the
girls and coaches are excited to find out just
how far they can go!! The IHSA State series
starts the 2nd week of February.
The Wrestling team will be looking for
leadership from their senior grapplers, plus a
large number of underclass wrestlers who will
look to them for guidance. They have a new
energy in the wrestling room that should carry
over to the mats. The competition for the
wrestling team will get even tougher as our
wrestlers square off against some of the
strongest competition in the State at the
SWSC Conference tournament and the IHSA
state series. The SWSC Conference was
January 23rd-24th at Sandburg, followed by
the IHSA state series, ending with the State
finals in Champaign February 20th-21st.
Boys’ Swimming and Diving used January to
get their times down and get ready for the
Conference and State meets in February.
With a number of solid upperclassmen who
had a taste of success last year, this year the
team plans on accomplishing some great
things. They have a number of Invitationals
along the way with the SWSC meet on
February 6th-7th at Lincoln-Way North
followed by the IHSA State series in late
February. The team fully plans to take a
large group of swimmers to the State finals
The Boys’ Basketball team has been battling
despite finding victories hard to come by.
What the team lacks in size they make up for
in hustle, toughness, and attitude. When you
watch this team just see how hard they play
and how many times they are diving for loose
balls and getting floor burns. They are
determined to make people take notice by
their play.
The Competitive Dance team is ready for an
exciting winter season. They began their
competitive season in December at the
Eisenhower Invitational. Their winter season
includes not only performing at half-time of
the boys’ home basketball games and
competing locally, but they also hosted a
contest on January 10th with over 50 schools
in attendance. The IHSA sectional took place
on January 24th. As this sport continues to
evolve, look for the competitive dance squad
to “step up” their game and go toe-to-toe with
other teams.

Business Department
The world of Business is changing and so is the Business
Department at Victor J. Andrew High School. We realize that it is
not only important for the students to know the curriculum, but the
leading companies are telling us that they also need employees that
can work on projects and in teams. As we align our curriculum to the
Common Core, we are creating units that focus around concepts that
can be taught in a small group environment. This allows the students
to interact with the curriculum, which will help them learn the concepts
for the long term.
The two most popular classes in the Business Department are Word
Applications / Keyboarding and General Business. In the Word
Applications / Keyboarding course, students learn the shortcuts of
Microsoft Word, how to use the different apps in Google, and proper
technique to improve keyboarding speed and accuracy. These are
skills that they will use their entire lives. General Business is a
course that not only meets the consumer education graduation
requirement, but also introduces many of the core business concepts
that are taught in the rest of the business curriculum. The curriculum
has been written in a manner that allows the students to interact with
the curriculum through projects they work on in small groups.
Accounting, Honors Accounting, or the College Skills course.
The College Skills class helps your child gain skills they will use as
they transition to college, working on everything from the application
process to adjusting to the college course load. Introduction to
Accounting is a new semester class for students who aren’t positive if
they want to major in Business in college so they only want to commit
a semester to see if it is a match for them. The Honors Accounting
class is a rigorous accounting class that is aligned with the curriculum
from Kansas State University. This course is designed for students
who know they want to major in Business in college and want to get
a head start on their college level learning. If a career in law is what
your child desires, we would suggest they take either Personal Law
or Business Law. If your child is interested in learning more about
the work place they can enroll in our Career Internship course. This
course allows students to earn credit for their class work and for their
work based experience. If your child wants to learn about starting a
business and being their own boss, we would encourage them to
sign up for Entrepreneurship. This course teaches the students
how to write a business plan and all of the details that go along with
owning their own business.
If your child is interested in technology, then they may be interested
in taking our Web Design course. The students in this course learn
how to code web pages, and for a final project, they design a website
for a local business. If your child is thinking about being a business
major in college, they might want to take an Introduction to
Outside the classroom, students can participate in the Business
Professionals of America (BPA) club, DECA (Distributive Education
Careers of America) club, or participate in Skills USA. All three of
these organizations allow students the opportunity to apply what they
have learned in the classroom in competitions between other schools.

I can be reached at
[email protected].

teams made cash donations to the fund raising event.
