COMING FROM ATOCHA RAILWAY STATION OR BY TUBE
Notice that while this guide shows the route to get the CCHS from Atocha Railway station, it is
possible to come from anywhere in the city by tube. Just reach the Line 5 (light green) at any point, and
follow the instructions of this section since the second point (General information about the tube in
http://www.metromadrid.es/en/index.html).
Once arrived at Atocha Railway Station, the easiest way to the CCHS is by tube, whilst attached
(image 1), maps can also be found in


Take Line 1 (light blue) from Atocha Renfe (the station is inside the railway station) and get
to Gran Vía, seven stations later.

There, change to Line 5 (light green) and go straight to Ciudad Lineal, and head to the exit
called C/Albarracín.

Once there, go straight on Calle Alcalá. (image 2)

Turn on the right in Calle de Sta. Leonor (there is a BMW dealer right on the corner) and get
the round at the end of the street.

Turn on the left, this is Calle Albasanz, CCHS is the building right on the opposite side of the
street.

COMING FROM BARAJAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
There are several ways to get to the city from the airport:

By taxi: There is a taxi station right in the airport. The fee would be around 40€ or 50€ if
your destiny is in the city centre.

By tube: Barajas is connected to the city by the Line 8 (pink). There are subway stations in
both terminal 4 and 2 at the airport; it takes less than 30min to get to Nuevos Ministerios,
(into the city). The service starts at 6:00 in the morning, and the last one leaves the airport
at 1:30 a.m. There is a extra fee for travelling to / from the airport which can be paid
together with a one way ticket (extra fee would be charged for trips larger than five
stations), or separately if a 10 Journeys ticket is bought.

By bus: There are two lines that head to Nuevos Ministerios and Atocha.
Buses are running from 6:00 a.m. to 23:30 p.m., the fare is 5€ and can be paid in the
bus (change available for 20€ notes or less). Buses leave every 15min during the day
and every 35 min at night. It takes about 40min to get the city, depending on traffic.
