987 Windage Tray - Install updated

Installing the MantisSport Sump Extension and Windage Tray
Your MantisSport Sump Extension will bolt directly the the
block of your engine clamping the Windage Tray with factory
baffle in place.
When installing the Windage Tray, you will have to remove the
lower lip from the factory baffle in order to fit the baffle to the
windage tray. This assembly will then fit in the original
position.
- Oil level display not affected by this instalation.
- We recommend the installation to be performed by a qualified technician.
Step 1
Trim the factory baffle to the line as shown in fig.1
The baffle will now mount flush to the windage tray.
Note the difference in the original top baffle vs the
modified lower baffle as seen in fig. 2

Step 2
Attach the baffle to the Windage Tray using the 20mm
long bolts, washers and nuts provided.
Install the oil pickup tube spacer using the 2 o-rings
and the 25mm long bolts.

Step 3
The Windage Tray sub-assembly is now ready to install
with the Sump Extension.
Use a sealing compound such as Dirko or Locktite
Product (Elring-No. 036.161) to form a thin gasket
between mating surfaces.
Note: You may have to add up to 1.2 L of oil.
