The company was founded with the aim to produce and sell
high quality wines. To this end, Vinarte made a series of
investments in both the agronomical side and in the
technology of winemaking centres, becoming a name of
considerable importance in the production of wines in
Romania. The investments amounting to EUR 10 million
represent the largest foreign investment in viticulture.
Romanian and Italian experts believe that winemaking begins in the vineyard.
Vinarte holds three estates located in three major wine regions:
Bolovanu Estate - Samburesti, Olt County
Stârmina Estate - Vanju Mare, Mehedinti County
Villa Zorilor Estate - Dealu Mare, Zoresti village, Buzau County
The annual production is about 2 million bottles.
The goal of the company is to produce high quality wines for export
and internal market, which involves the following:
•grapes of the best quality,
achieved through strictly
respecting specific culture
technologies;
•performant technical equipment, at the current
technological level in the world;
•performant specialized technical
assistance (agronomical, oenological);
•substantial financial effort to finance production
(given the very long cycle of 2-3 years).
The technical aspects of the company's
activity are established and conducted
by teams of foreign experts

Wine technical assistance is assured in
Italy;
oenology assistance is provided by a
company from Italy.
Currently the company has a total of 70
permanent employees.

without
legal
or
accounting
authority. At workstations
primary evidence until

The estates wineries
In Zoresti, Dealu Mare vineyard, Buzau County, Vinarte holds 132
hectares of vines.
In Villa Zorilor winery, athe wine Prince Matei is already stored for
aging and maturing in new barrels imported from France. The
vineyard is located in one of the most renowned vine-growing
regions: Dealu Mare, which extends over more than 60 km and is
particularly famous for producing red wines.
Here, one can easily find almost all the favorable soil and climatic
conditions necessary for the production of high quality wine. The
vines are located on the sunny hills with southern and southeastern exposure, protected against the cold winds from the north, a
position that provides an optimum accumulation of summer heat
during the vegetation period, without being affected by excess
moisture. Long, dry and mild autumns favour late harvests and the
clayey and rich in iron oxides soil produces wines that have
the glitter of the ruby.
In Samburesti, Olt County, Vinarte currently holds an 60 ha estate.
The region where Castel Bolovanu vineyard lies is one of the oldest and most
beautiful in Romania. In relation to recent archaeological discoveries, was
formulated the hypothesis of its existence 2000 years ago. The mineral
composition is typical for alluvial soils, with the capacity to produce special
character wines. The south-western exposure of the terraces, leading down to
the Olt River, acting like a thermal regulator, allows the quiet ripening of the
vegetation cycles of the grapes. The ideal microclimate of these realms
provides an excellent balance between sugar level, acidity and polyphenol.
In Starmina, Turnu Severin, Vinarte has 190 hectares of vines.
Thanks to its position in the south-western region of the country, in
close proximity of the Danube, with a Mediterranean influenced climate ,
this vineyard has always produced remarkable wines. Statistical climatic
data confirm that here we have an ideal temperature throughout the year
and a significant number of sunny hours.
These vineyards have the special designation to produce wines with great
character.
Grapes : Tămâioasă Românească, Sauvignon Blanc and reds such as
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Negru de Drăgăşani, Fetească Neagră and
Novac.
The Brands
Collection Range, which is exclusively distributed in restaurants,
addresses connoisseurs, those who know to appreciate an
exceptional wine and are willing to bear its cost. We address
powerful people, drinking red wine with a high alcoholic strength,
who also appreciate the dishes that would pair these wines.
Vinarte Range can only be found in the lists of restaurants and
specialized shops and includes a multiple variety of wines produced
from local and international grape varieties grown in Mehedinti
and Dealu Mare vineyards.
Enoteca Range addresses those who want to consume a bottle of
quality wine without the pretense of an exceptional wine. The
price is more affordable and the wines can be found in
hypermarket networks and cash & carry stores.
Our Mission:
Our company main goal is to produce quality wines. The investments
in production necessary to achieve this goal are in continuous progress
by the acquisition of new vineyards and by planting of young vines.
We are currently working in the network G.D.O. with the following
stores:
Metro, Selgros, Carrefour, Mega Image, Auchan, Real, Billa, Cora,
General, Nic, Kaufland.
In HORECA network we work with about 80% of locations. In recent
years, the portfolio of wines that we have at our disposal has been
increased by new products, especially selected for the very good quality
/ price ratio.
