school that you may SEE
every day. There are
some painted on the
walls and in the display
case in the lobby you
will SEE when you walk
into school.

You may meet a

greeting you at
Lecanto Primary
School. Everyone who
is at the Front Desk is
very friendly and
helpful.
The Clinic
• If you are not feeling well,
you may go to the clinic
and see the Health Room
Attendant. She may take
your temperature or give
you your medicine if you
take any at school. If you
are sick, she may tell you
to lie down and rest on
the bed in the clinic
The Media Center
• You may go to the
library for class work.
You may be able to take
books out of the library
for your class work or
just your favorite books.
There will be a Media
Specialist who can help
you with taking out
library books and using
your library card
The Computer Lab
• You may go to the
Computer Lab and work
on the computers. This is
where you will learn
many new computer
skills. You will meet the
teacher, MRS. HURLEY
who is the
Media/Instructional Lab
Specialist and the person
who will help you with
computer questions.

The Art Room
• You may have Art Class
as a Specials class. You
will have an Art
Teacher. His name is
MR. COLLINS. You may
be able to paint and
make beautiful pictures
or work on an art
project with your
classmates. Art Class is
a fun place to be.
The Music Room
• The Music Room is also
a fun place to be. You
may learn songs to sing
and hear or play
musical instruments.

Music Teacher at

Athletics and PE
• You may have a PE
class. It might be
indoors on rainy days
and when it is hot. It
might also be outside
on a nice day. You may
have one or two PE
teachers. You may play
games with your class
and this will be fun.

The Cafeteria
• At lunch time you may go
to the Cafeteria. You may
bring your lunch from
home or buy one from
the cafeteria.
• Assemblies and special
programs may also be
held in the cafeteria.
• The cafeteria is a noisy
place but you may be able
to sit with your friends.
• Your teacher will help you
to learn the cafeteria
rules.
