A while back a catch phrase was introduced –
“What Would Jesus Do?”

That catch phrase took hold about 20 years
ago.
Today, there are more jokes leveraging that
catch phrase than the real meaning behind it.
The reason is that people don’t care about
what Jesus thinks.
Just the other day our “favorite” girl star
Miley Cyrus said the following about Christ…
PZ Note – I use the word “favorite” in a very
sarcastic manner referencing little Miley.
NOW… All you Servant Warriors who are
utterly offended by this, raise your sword.
Yea, I know that I was. In fact, as I was
reading it my mouth hung open as I could not
believe what I was reading.
Folks, our nation is totally toast with the likes
of people like this gaining the spotlight.
Here is a news flash, it is going to get worse.

What is worse, there are a TON of people out there, that even though they may totally hate
Miley Cyrus, they totally agree with what she has said.
AND… a lot of those people claim the title “Christian” to boot.
In fact just today I have been having a conversation with a person who has a pastor teaching
utter garbage. She was showing what he was saying, the scriptures he was using and the
horrible bible version he used.
So it isn’t just C.I.N.O.s out there speaking garbage it is so called pastors (hirelings) whom
these people are learning it from.
This is one of the main reasons WHY I started the Servant Warrior series.

what I was reading.
Folks, our nation is totally toast with the likes of people like this gaining the spotlight.
Here is a news flash, it is going to get worse.

Folks, we are in a day and age where the true bible believing Christian cannot depend on their
pastor being a solid bible preaching and teaching pastor. Pastors like that are far and few in
between. The truth is not being preached anymore in 95% of the churches today.
SO… we have to take on that responsibility ourselves.
Hey, what a concept, feeding ourselves from the Word of God.
As strange as that might sound, it is something that many people do not do and do not know
how to do.
What Would The Servant Warrior Do?
The days that we live in are pretty bad. The Word of God is mocked on the street and also
mocked in the pulpit. People’s ideas of God are completely out there, as well as their ideas on
what it means to be a Christian.
In this series I have been writing on the different virtues, talking about the character of The
Servant Warrior as well as other aspects of living the Servant Warrior life.
Much of what I am writing about reminds me a lot of the book “Pilgrim's Progress.”
We who are true bible believing, love the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul are on a journey,
much like “Christian” was in Pilgrim's Progress.
I call that journey being the Servant Warrior because we are living in an age where many ideas,
morals and such are so skewed and distorted. It is hard to trust what we have trusted for years,
just to find out that what we have been taught are lies and purely the ideas of man.

It is for this reason that I ask “What Would the Servant Warrior Do?”
See, we have two choices. Choose serving the Flesh or choose serving God.
By maintaining a “warrior code” of ethics, morals and ideals which come from God’s Word, we
can navigate the traps, pitfalls, and fiery darts the enemy hurls at us or puts in our path.
The alternative is serving the flesh, which in turn is serving the devil.
We are living in an age where we have to be responsible for our own spiritual growth and those
of our family.
So when we come to an obstacle, temptation, something that just does not sit right with us
spiritually, we need to ask “What Would the Servant Warrior Do?”

People today need to start being more self-sufficient in all aspects of life. Mentally, Spiritually
and Physically. This idea is nothing new, it is how our great grandparents thought and is the
idea our nation was founded on.
Basically, standing upon the Word of God and living your life according to His Word.

The problem is somewhere along the line we started relaxing our ideas and compromised our
morals and character.
Less God, more flesh.
Less God’s Word, more TV, video games, and all the vices of the world.
Less Jesus Christ and more Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé.
Less worship of God, more Super Bowl Sunday, Grammy Awards, Gay Parades or anything
else to help us take up our time so that we are not accountable to Him.
It is because we are being so inundated with the world that when we run up against some of
these things, we need to ask “What Would the Servant Warrior Do?”
Our pastors, churches and popular TV Evangelists are not telling us how to live a right and just
life before the Lord.
So we need to start asking ourselves because if we care and love God, we are The Servant
Warrior.
We walk what we are finding out to be a very lonely path of righteousness. We should not be
surprised at this. Christ himself told us the following…
Matthew 7:14 because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.
I honestly believe that God is separating the wheat from the chaff. He is wanting people to start
living a holy and acceptable life again. Thing is that only a few will heed that call.
But those who do, will be The Servant Warriors.

Tickling Our Itching Ears

Maybe a better way to title this is, “Bowing to the
Antichrist.” Because it looks to me like this is what we are
doing in our churches.
In Matthew chapter 4:8-10 (KJV) we read: Again the devil
taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain and
sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of
them; and saith unto him, all these things will I give thee, if
thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then Jesus said unto
him, get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, thou shalt
worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
We bowed our knee to Satan and look what we have. Mega churches. Coliseums converted into
mass “worship centers.”
Hundreds of thousands of people attend these glorified rock and roll shows. They go nuts as the
little funny man in a ponytail with earrings jams to his band singing about a savior. I’ve heard
their music. The seven eleven songs neither praise Jesus nor glorify him. It’s all about the rock
beat that will put you in a state that if the preacher stood up during all that ruckus and said you
all were to cluck like chickens in the name of the Lord, you would.
We walked off the right path because our itching ears couldn’t handle it. We don’t want to
worship the Lord thy God and him only. Nope, we want to do it our way. Hey guess what, if you
are not doing it God’s way, then you are bowing the knee to Satan.
Satan is so clever, he has given us all these new funny bibles to confuse us even more about
what we believe. We have so much confusion now because not one of these bibles says the
same thing. All we know is that the bible of the month club comes out with a new version that
further denies the deity of Christ.
Want more proof that these funny bibles are a spawn of Satan? People’s lives are not being
changed. Homosexuality is okay in these new versions. Women are allowed to preach. We go
to church now because it’s fun and we won’t be offended. We don’t have to worry about being
born again because it’s not taught. No need to be saved here, bring your friends and help us
grow. Help us corrupt more and more of the masses.
Want more proof that we are bowing the knee to the Antichrist? Since we are following a funny
bible in our churches, anything goes and it’s okay. You want to speak in tongues? Go ahead.
You want to do some Hindu chant, more power to you.
Oh look, we have the makings of a universal church. Come as you are, dress as you want, drink
coffee, have good fellowship and we will see you for the next service.

Except for a select few, churches of today are bowing the knee to Satan, and he is laughing all
the way to the bank. Do you know why? Because when the trumpet sounds and we are caught
up in the air, he knows that most of you will be left behind. Satan may lose in the end but if he
can keep you from being born again, you go to hell for all eternity.
Don’t believe me, read Revelation 20:15 (KJV) and whosoever was not found written in the book
of life was cast into the lake of fire.
And you still want to bow down knowing that unless you are born again you are going to burn?
Friends, we were warned this was going to happen. 2nd Peter 2:1-2a (KJV) But there were false
prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily
shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them and bring upon
themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways.
Pernicious:
1. Destructive; having the quality of killing, destroying or injuring; very injurious or
mischievous.
2. Destructive; tending to injure or destroy.
Now doesn’t that look like what Jesus said in John chapter 10? The thief cometh not but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
That is exactly what is happening in our churches today.
They don’t see the truth in what Jesus said, I am come that they might have life, and that they
might have it more abundantly.
Satan has masterfully blinded the eyes, ears, and minds of people from hearing the gospel that
can set them free.
In case you have not noticed, our world is in a mess. What would happen if revival happened in
Joel Osteen’s church? What if they got hungry for the power of God? What if they became soul
winners? They could turn this nation around.
But it’s not going to happen. We have believed the lie that we don’t need God. We don’t need to
bow down and worship him and him alone.
God has still given us time to call upon his name. Not much time but as long as we still have
breath, if you don’t know Jesus,you had better call upon him today. Tomorrow could possibly be
too late.
And if it’s too late, you will not spend eternity in heaven.
When your name is not found in the book of life, tell me, how will your ears feel then? Will they
still tickle? It will be too late for the truth then, so why not get ready now?

Jesus told us in Revelation 3:20 (KJV): Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear
my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Jesus is standing at the door knocking. Open the door and let him in before the knocking stops.
This could be your last chance.

Building up Yourself, Your Family, and
Your Country

Has anyone reading this noticed that civilization in general
seems to be headed toward political totalitarianism,
economic depression, and social injustice for all?
There isn’t a way that this trend can be reversed by
any collective means. It is up to the individual. I don’t
know what the earthly results will be, but the eternal
results will be good. There will probably be many
earthly benefits as well.
First - Psalm 33:12 tells us, ‘Blessed is the nation
whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he
hath chosen for his own inheritance.’
Psalm 127:1 says, ‘Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it:
except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.’
So obviously the way to blessed as a nation is to have a nation made up of people that
chose to worship the God of the Bible in their hearts. This will show up in their actions.
It has to begin in the hearts of individuals.
To bring this about Christian Evangelism is the highest calling and of the utmost
importance. Do you want a life that counts for eternity? Evangelize! Tell the world that
Jesus saves. Jesus Christ alone can be the mediator between God and man. Today
you must be very clear regarding exactly who Jesus is. Define the Jesus you worship.
He is the triune God of the Bible. He isn’t a prophet. He isn’t just a man. He is the
Word – who was with God – and who is God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:1-3
He doesn’t make mistakes. He doesn’t have to continually revise His plans because of
failure. He is God who spoke the world into place. He has power over life and death.
He is the only way into heaven. He is fully able to save to the uttermost by His power.
By grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves – it is gift of God.
(Ephesians 2:8)
Second – It is the individuals who make the difference. Become an individualist.
That means you think for yourself. Right thinking begins with a Biblical World View.

Everything should be considered within the framework of what the Bible has to say
about it. There is no other way that leads to any successful outcome in any direction.
America’s beginning was definitely with people who were individualist Christians. These
Pilgrim Christians viewed the world through the Bible. They crossed an ocean in a tiny
ship, suffered 50% casualties in their first year, and still kept their mind on building a
place where they could worship God according to the instructions in the Bible.
Today society places a lot of pressure on people to do certain things in a certain way
and to accept what is not acceptable to God. As a Christian do not let burdens be
placed on your back that God Himself has not put there. Your boundaries are set by
God. The Bible allows and dis-allows certain things. It is your Christian duty to live
within the boundaries set by God alone. You are also to obey the laws of the land that
do not conflict with the laws of God. Other than these boundaries, you are free to make
choices based on personal preference and circumstances. Let me repeat this – you are
free to make choices based on personal preferences and circumstances that do not
conflict with how your Christian faith requires you to behave. Don’t surrender your true
freedom of choice regarding how you live and spend your life to the temporary goodwill
of current social and political whims. The boundaries set by God for proper behavior
are enough. Speaking in Matthew 11:28-30 Jesus says, ‘
‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’
Third – The ‘get the job done’ mentality is necessary.
Ecclesiastes 9:10a tells us, ‘Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;’
No matter where you work or what you do, there is absolutely no question that you will
come across many who are so afraid of doing more than someone else that they don’t
actually do anything. Forget them. They are chaff to the wheat. Take precautions not
to be snared by their lazy good for nothing attitudes. They are the millstones that drag
people, families, and nations down. Your job is to get the job God places in front of you
done! It isn’t to pay attention to others. This doesn’t mean to set aside the Bible
instructions to be kind to others and treat others the way you want to be treated. It
simply means stay focused on getting the job done.
Remember that working with lazy people doesn’t give a Christian an excuse to join the
ranks of the lazy. Dealing with an adult who has the mindset of a kindergarten student
is definitely not easy. Just do the best you can do every day considering the
circumstances.

Fourth – Be prepared. You don’t know what the future holds, so it is your duty to be as
prepared as possible in every situation. This means that you do not want to be ignorant
of everything outside your chosen profession. Take the time to learn. Learn
everything. When an uncommon situation arises consider how to best handle it, and
then let your ‘get the job done’ mentality take over. Honestly, in many instances you will
need help. However there will always be a lot you can get done on your own. How do
you think the pioneers crossed the American planes and the mountain ranges in a
wagon or on horseback? Every single day something unexpected arose. They did not
let these events distract them from reaching their destination or achieving their goals.
Their goal was always to get the job done. That should be our goal as well.
Recap:
Evangelize – Tell the world that Jesus saves. God is a loving Father. He will provide
for His own.
Individualize – Be the person God made you to be – not a copy/clone of what the world
wants you to be.
Get the job done mentality – Whatever the task in front of you may be – do it with all
your might.
Be prepared – learn to do everything! Be aware of what is going on around you.
Prepare for any and all possibilities.
To all this add ‘Enjoy life’. There is joy in a life lived to please God.
Isaiah 65:14 says, ‘Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for
sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.’
Matthew 25:23 says, ‘His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou
hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou
into the joy of thy lord.’

Gay Marriage Center Stage at Grammys

This is an excellent example why I don't follow
Hollywood--33 couples, both straight and gay, were
married by Queen Latifah at the Grammy Awards, reports
hollywoodreporter.com. Latifah was deputized by Los
Angeles County to officiate over the weddings as the
song "Same Love" was performed by Ryan Lewis and
Macklemore (whoever they are) as the anthem for the
evening. This was historic as it is the first time that such
an event was held on national television during a
prestigious awards ceremony generally reserved for
pumping up some of the biggest money and egos in
America. It is also, in a strange way, prophetic.
2014 may be the year when the Supreme Court decides that the states can decide for
themselves whether to allow same sex "marriages." The Supreme Court could also say that it is
unconstitutional to discriminate against any person of any sex who wishes to get married. But
one could make a pretty safe bet that the Supreme Court will not uphold marriage as a union
only between a man and a woman. Before you run out of the room screaming after hitting the
"unsubscribe" button frantically while thinking I have lost my mind, hear me out. There is nothing
in the Constitution about marriage. Historically, local governments have had control over
marriage, issuing licenses and imposing health regulations. But that's not all.
In the first years of the Plymouth colony, William Bradford writes: "May 12 was the first marriage
in this place, which according to the laudable custom of the Low Countries, in which they had
lived, was thought most requisite to be performed by the magistrate, as being a civil thing upon
which many questions about inheritances do depend, with other things most proper to their
cognizance and most consonant to the Scriptures (Ruth IV) and nowhere to be found in the
Gospel to be laid on the ministers as part of their offices." Bradford well knew the Scriptures and
the definition of marriage, but he also knew the practical application of government involvement
in marriage for inheritances and public health.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:4-6, "Have you not read, that he which made them at the beginning
made them male and female...Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore
God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." We know that marriage is a God ordained
institution. We also know that marriage is regulated by government. The Constitution says
nothing about marriage and if it doesn't specifically mention something, it is left to the states or
the people to decide as per the 10th Amendment. It also says that Congress shall make no law
respecting religion or the free exercise of it. While pastors are not Constitutionally forced to
officiate same sex "marriages," government magistrates may be. This is where government and
religion clash. Do the "people" have the will to preserve marriage as defined by God?

When Will The Lord Come!

Today, the heat of temptation and compromise is
many times hotter than it was a generation ago. For
example, Satan has rigged the entire technology of
our age—corrupting it with seduction, sensuality, lust
and temptation. Why do we face such a white-hot
furnace of temptation today? Why are lust and sex
being used to sell every conceivable kind of product?
Why are there hundreds of porno websites on the
Internet? Who is the target of this flood of filth?
It isn’t the secular world, which has already been
seduced. No, Satan’s target is none of these. Rather,
he has manipulated the media to snare the hearts of
overcoming Christians. He wants to weaken and
destroy the testimony of the gospel.
Right now the furnace is being heated seven times over in the lives of many believers. Satan
has created situations in their homes, on their jobs and in their relationships that are more
intense than ever. And many once-strong Christians are giving up, quitting on God. They no
longer pray for help. Instead, they think, “My trial is too intense for me to survive!”
In Daniel 3, God turned the devil’s scheme into an opportunity to expose the whole nation of
Babylon to His testimony. Because the three young men would not bow, the Lord delivered
them. And they brought to the nation a clear manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ!
The king of Babylon testified, “Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? . . .
Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of
the fourth is like the Son of God” (Daniel 3:24-25).
Quickly the king nullified his first decree of idol worship and issued this new decree: “Therefore I
make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against
the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be
made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort” (verse 29).
Beloved, it all happened because of the testimony of three men—righteous lovers of God who
were willing to lay down their lives in faith.
Yes, things are going to get hot economically, physically, mentally, spiritually and in every other
way. But God has already put His hand on separated, godly men and women in every place.
And His gospel will be preached as a testimony.
Then the Lord will come!

All Things Global, Led by Globalists, Moving
Us Toward Globalization

We're on our way...
If you haven't heard of Gerald Celente, you may wish to check
him out. He's from Kingston, NY and produces the Trends
Journal. He also apparently has an excellent track record in
predicting world events. He's not a seer or prophet and from
what I gather, religion doesn't enter into the picture at all. He
simply knows what's going on and has an uncanny ability to
predict what will take place based on trends throughout the world.
Here is his latest YouTube video/blog from yesterday, January 21, 2014. One thing he notes
that I disagree with is that people don't care about what is happening in America. I think many
do. The problem is that we are not elected officials and even if we were, it takes a majority of
them to effect change. Often, for all our concern, individuals - even in groups - cannot do much
except resist. If our governments (local, state, and federal) begin to see us as problem children,
they will push back, hard.
Along the lines of what is happening around the globe
from Celente's view, which in general, I agree with,
there is a show that my wife and I just finished
watching called "The Hour." The show takes place in
Great Britain during the 1950s and follows the creation
of a news-oriented television show that does what "60
Minutes" used to do (report actual news).
Many historical facts and situations are woven
throughout the 12-episode series and that alone
makes it very interesting to watch. The first series of
"The Hour," (the first six episodes) focus on one
overarching issue, with several smaller issues running
through from episode one to six. Everything is pretty much resolved in six episodes.
The second series of "The Hour" does the same thing, by continuing with one of the themes
from the first series. Globalization is the key theme in both series. Orwell is noted. The "new
world order" is mentioned and in general, we see a bit behind the curtain as part of the global
elite's plans are exposed through the diligent investigative journalistic efforts of the staff at "The
Hour."
The three main characters that are in both series are Bel (Romola Garai), producer for "The
Hour," Hector (Dominic West), the face of the news on "The Hour," and Freddie (Ben Whishaw),
intrepid journalist who doesn't like to hear the word "no" or "can't."

In the course of the show, danger appears around every corner, but our fearless journalists
press on in spite of personal hardships and threats to their lives. What I find fascinating about
this show (aside from the high quality of acting, cinematography, and noir tone), is the
revelations that occur throughout. These revelations direct us to what takes place deep in the
shadows by very rich and powerful men who are directing the affairs of the world as they see fit.
In general and for the most part, the things they do are designed to gain more wealth. This is
the point that "The Hour" brings out in its second series - that those with power (from money)
often do the things that benefit them the most, allowing them to gain even more money and the
power that is connected to it.
We know that the apostle Paul teaches in Scripture that the love of money is the root of all evil
(not just money itself; 1 Timothy 6:10). It is a person's inordinate love affair with money that
brings tremendous evil into a person's life and has the capacity to bring that evil, by extension,
into the lives of those it touches.
People do terrible things in the name of money. They allow themselves to become corrupted by
it and to corrupt others as well. Their goal is not to become corrupted, but to become
inordinately powerful. Unfortunately, it is this perverted craving for financial gain that creates
such an obsession that corruption is not that far behind.
Gerald Celente speaks of the trends that he believes will
happen in 2014 and the outlook isn't good as long as things
remain the same. In spite of the fact that there are
movements to overturn the evil that is taken over society,
nothing may come of it because those who are truly corrupt
with power and, in fact, in power and hold the purse strings.
We are - as a global society - being led to the slaughter by
individuals whose consciences have been seared because
they have wholeheartedly given themselves over to become
fully corrupted. They are now incorrigible and the only thing
that will stem the tide is a supernatural act from a holy God.
As I've stated before, we may well have passed the point of
no return. I am convinced that the powers that be are
destroying the economy of America especially so that when
Israel will find themselves in a position of desperately needing our help, we won't be able to give
it. In fact, it appears that no one (not even Canada) will provide help, for one reason or another.
Zechariah 12:3
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all
who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces although all nations of the earth are
gathered against it.

There will obviously come a time when all nations will be opposed to Israel. They will have no
one (except God) to look to and it appears that this is exactly how He constructs things so that
they will be forced to look to Him.
Yet, at the same time, God appears to be allowing the Global Elite to dismantle America through
vice, overspending, godlessness, lawlessness, and a leadership that has been opposed to Him
for some time. We reap what we sow and in this situation, America will likely fall, remaining a
mere shadow of what this country once was in the past and certainly, at its founding.
For those of us who trust God, we must continue to trust. He will provide, but probably more
importantly, He will be glorified in all that takes place. We must either stand with Him or wind up
standing against Him. There is no fence-sitting, no middle of the road position.
We are either for God in all He does or we are against Him.

Are We On The Verge Of A Massive
Emerging Markets Currency Collapse?

This time, the Federal Reserve has created a truly global
problem. A big chunk of the trillions of dollars that it
pumped into the financial system over the past several
years has flowed into emerging markets. But now that the
Fed has decided to begin "the taper", investors see it as a
sign to pull the "hot money" out of emerging markets as
rapidly as possible.
This is causing currencies to collapse and interest rates to
soar all over the planet. Argentina, Turkey, South Africa, Ukraine, Chile, Indonesia, Venezuela,
India, Brazil, Taiwan and Malaysia are just some of the emerging markets that have been hit
hard so far.
In fact, last week emerging market currencies experienced the biggest decline that we have
seen since the financial crisis of 2008. And all of this chaos in emerging markets is seriously
spooking Wall Street as well.
The Dow has fallen nearly 500 points over the last two trading sessions alone. If the Federal
Reserve opts to taper even more in the coming days, this currency crisis could rapidly turn into
a complete and total currency collapse.
A lot of Americans have always assumed that the U.S. dollar would be the first currency to
collapse when the next great financial crisis happens. But actually, right now just the opposite is
happening and it is causing chaos all over the
planet.
For instance, just check out what is happening
in Turkey according to a recent report in the
New York Times...
Turkey’s currency fell to a record low against
the dollar on Friday, a drop that will hit the
purchasing power of everyone in the country.
On a street corner in Istanbul, Yilmaz Gok, 51,
said, “I’m a retiree making ends meet on a
small pension and all I care about is a possible
increase in prices.”
“I will need to cut further,” he said. “Maybe I
should use my natural gas heater less.”

As inflation escalates and interest rates soar in these countries, ordinary citizens are going to
feel the squeeze. Just having enough money to purchase the basics is going to become more
difficult.
And this is not just limited to a few countries. What we are watching right now is truly a global
phenomenon...
"You've had a massive selloff in these emerging-market currencies," Nick Xanders, a Londonbased equity strategist at BTIG Ltd., said by telephone. "Ruble, rupee, real, rand: they've all
fallen and the main cause has been tapering. A lot of companies that have benefited from
emerging-markets growth are now seeing it go the other way."
So why is this happening? Well, there are a number of factors involved of course. However, as
with so many of our other problems, the actions of the Federal Reserve are at the very heart of
this crisis. A recent USA Today article described how the Fed helped create this massive
bubble in the emerging markets...
Emerging markets are the future growth engine of the global economy and an important source
of profits for U.S. companies. These developing economies were both recipients and
beneficiaries of massive cash inflows the past few years as investors sought out bigger returns
fostered by injections of cheap cash from the Federal Reserve and other central bankers.
But now that the Fed has started to dial back its stimulus, many investors are yanking their cash
out of emerging markets and bringing the cash back to more stable markets and economies,
such as the U.S., hurting the developing nations in the process, explains Russ Koesterich, chief
investment strategist at BlackRock.
"Emerging markets need the hot money but capital is exiting now," says Koesterich. "What you
have is people saying, 'I don't want to own emerging markets.'"
What we are potentially facing is the bursting of a financial bubble on a global scale. Just check
out what Egon von Greyerz, the founder of Matterhorn Asset Management in Switzerland,
recently had to say...
If you take the Turkish lira, that plunged to new lows this week, and the Russian ruble is at the
lowest level in 5 years. In South Africa, the rand is at the weakest since 2008. The currencies
are also weak in Brazil and Mexico. But there are many other countries whose situation is
extremely dire, like India, Indonesia, Hungary, Poland, the Ukraine, and Venezuela.
I’m mentioning these countries individually just to stress that this situation is extremely serious.
It is also on a massive scale. In virtually all of these countries currencies are plunging and so
are bonds, which is leading to much higher interest rates. And the cost of credit-default swaps in
these countries is surging due to the increased credit risks.
And many smaller nations are being deeply affected already as well.

For example, most Americans cannot even find Liberia on a map, but right now the actions of
our Federal Reserve have pushed the currency of that small nation to the verge of collapse...
Liberia's finance minister warned against panic today after being summoned to parliament to
explain a crash in the value of Liberia's currency against the US dollar.
"Let's be careful about what we say about the economy. Inflation, ladies and gentlemen, is not
out of control," Amara Konneh told lawmakers, while adding that the government was
"concerned" about the trend.
Closer to home, the Mexican peso tumbled quite a bit last week and is now beginning to show
significant weakness. If Mexico experiences a currency collapse, that would be a huge blow to
the U.S. economy.
Like I said, this is something
that is happening on a
global scale.
If this continues, we will
eventually see looting,
violence, blackouts,
shortages of basic supplies,
and runs on the banks in
emerging markets all over
the planet just like we are
already witnessing in
Argentina and Venezuela.
Hopefully something can be
done to stop this from
happening. But once a
bubble starts to burst, it is
really difficult to try to hold it
together.
Meanwhile, I find it to be very "interesting" that last week we witnessed the largest withdrawal
from JPMorgan's gold vault ever recorded.
Was someone anticipating something?
Once again, hopefully this crisis will be contained shortly. But if the Fed announces that it has
decided to taper some more, that is going to be a signal to investors that they should race for
the exits and the crisis in the emerging markets will get a whole lot worse.
And if you listen carefully, global officials are telling us that is precisely what we should
expect. For example, consider the following statement from the finance minister of Mexico...

"We expected this year to be a volatile year for EM as the Fed tapers," Mexican Finance
Minister Luis Videgaray said, adding that volatility "will happen throughout the year as tapering
goes on".
Yes indeed - it is looking like this is going to be a very volatile year.
