AWARDS:
First Place trophies will be awarded to the
overall male and female runners, overall male
and female walkers and wheelchair event
winners.
YMCA 5K ON THE RUNWAY
The YMCA 5K on the Runway, Saturday
April 16, is sponsored by Evansville
Teachers Federal Credit Union.
Location:
The race will take place at Tri-State Aero
6101 Flightline Drive.
Entry Fee:
Walking awards will be given to the top
three male and female walkers.
Finisher medals will be awarded to all youth
10 and under who complete the 5k race.
Results & Timing:
The entire field will be chip timed.
Race results will be available online
immediately following the event.
Participants will receive results via email
if an email address is provided on your
entry form.
Make A Difference:
All proceeds from this event support
YMCA Youth programs in our community.
Make a difference in the life of a child by
participating in this event.
Kids Run:
Give the kids an opportunity to make a quick
dash on the runway! Immediately following
the 5K, there will be a kids dash. The kids
dash is free and open to all youth age 3
through 12. Youth runners will be given a
special goody bag at the finish of their race.
Age group trophies will be awarded to
the top three participants in the male
and female age groups after taking out
overall winners, visit www.ymcaswin.org
for details. All fully paid participants will
receive a commemorative shirt.
The 5K registration fee is $20 before
April 12, and $25 after April 12. To pay
by VISA or MasterCard, use the credit
card option located on the entry form or

Race day registrations will be accepted
from 6:30 - 7:30 am at Tri State Aero on
April 16. Entry fee is not tax-deductible
and is non-refundable.
Packet Pickup:
Runners and walkers may pick up their
race packets at the Downtown YMCA on
Friday, April 15, from 11:00 am to 6:00
pm. Packets may be picked up on race day
at Tri State Aero from 6:30 - 7:30 am.
Event Description:
The YMCA 5K on the Runway is a great
opportunity to participate in a spring race
and experience the airport runway. The
course will take the runners and walkers
along runways, taxiways, and ramps. You
will also catch a glimpse of the Airport
Rescue and Fire Fighting Station.
Bring the family and enjoy the spring day!
