Southern Heat Exchanger Services - SHECO Services
Southern Heat Exchanger Services (SHECO Services) is a subsidiary of
Southern Heat Exchanger Corporation (SHECO) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Initially established in 2003 to meet the growing service and repair needs
of the heat exchanger industry, SHECO services quickly established a
loyal customer base with its experience and responsiveness. Today SHECO
Services does a lot more than just service and repairs, early on SHECO
Services began building new Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers as well as
Air Coolers for customers across a wide range of industries and today
covers the spectrum in both categories.
The shop is equipped to handle work of virtually any size and type, from
pipe size shell and tube units to feedwater heaters to fin fan units, SHECO
Services has built and successfully repaired them all. Equipped with a
horizontal cut-off saw with an 84” throat, 100,000 pounds of in-house lift
capacity and all the machining, welding and support equipment it needs,
SHECO Services can build or repair virtually any heat exchanger. Its staff
has over 200 years of combined heat exchanger design, manufacturing and
repair experience. In addition they have the full support of their parent
Southern Heat Exchanger in Tuscaloosa, with its’ 2 plants, engineering staff
and 50 plus years in the heat exchanger business.

Heat Exchangers and Heat Exchanger repairs.

SHECO Services was established with experienced people right from the
start. Today we are proud to say we have some of the most knowledgeable
people in the industry in all facets of the operation. From sales to
engineering and operations to the shop floor, customers can count on

and more unusual the job is. We build new exchangers of all shapes and
sizes, utilizing materials from carbon steel to alloys and metallurgies of
virtually all types.
New exchangers and shop repairs are only part of what SHECO Services
does well, where their team really shines is in the field. From jobs as small
as re-rolling a few tubes to major heat exchanger repairs and re-tubing
anywhere in the world, the SHECO Services team can handle any heat
exchanger repair challenge. From the beginning SHECO Services has won
over customers with its ability to quickly breakdown job requirements,
mobilize at a moments notice and successfully complete repairs of all sizes
