Mission
Battle Command Knowledge System (BCKS) supports the
generation, application, management and exploitation of Army
knowledge to foster collaboration among Soldiers and Units in order
to share expertise and experience; facilitate leader development
and intuitive decision making; and support the development of
organizations and teams.

WO Net Mission
Support the Warfighter
- Support the war fighter by facilitating collaboration throughout
the Army’s WO in order to solve everyday work problems
- Connect WOs with a common focus of solving critical problems
faced by the professional in the field, and in doing so, develop
and archive the tools, insights and approaches needed by
members
- Foster an environment conducive to innovation and the sharing
of tacit and explicit knowledge; and create a forum that
supports meeting the challenges unique to the profession
- Find new methods for tapping into the experiences of WOs to
create a more effective learning community
- Capture knowledge to improve decision making
- Provide peer driven professional and technical mentoring for
those periods between attendance at service schools
- Provide topical content, tools and knowledge to assist
professionals
