Registration and Login
Wizard, to start learning the first thing that you should do is register
as an Ungar in: berserk.idcgames.com
For this you must complete a simple form and you will be ready to show
your skills.
Requirements to Play

To be a competent Ungar all you need is a computer
/ a computer connected to the Internet and a web
browser with Adobe Flash Player installed.
If you need more help, you can check the forum at
berserk.idcgames.com/forums using the same user
and password that you have in the game or contact

Most browsers have this program installed by default
(Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet
Explorer) you won’t need to download it.

Here you will find a brief overview of all the places that you can visit and all the actions
you can accomplish as an Ungar while mastering the powers of elemental magic.
At the top of your screen you will find the Ungar information menu.
(1) Berserk: The Cataclysm logo.
(4) This is the manna bar, it shows you the manna
you have available for actions like the collection of
the tribute of your lands. Whenever you earn manna,
this will be added to your reserve, there is no limit.
(2) This is the main menu, where you can move from
one place to another within the game. Here you will
find there are buttons that take you to the Game
Menus: Tower, Island, Portals, Battles, Squads,
Cards, Store and Clans.
(5) Here you can upgrade your account and
become a PREMIUM player.
(3) This is where you can see the name by which
you registered.

(6) This is the experience bar that indicates how
much experience you have accumulated in the level
where you are on. If you place and hold the mouse
over the yellow part of the bar, it will tell you the
experience that you need to reach the next level.
(9) This bar displays the number of Imperials that
you have. Clicking on the [+] you can change Ounces
for Imperials, by fixing the amount of Ounces that
you would like to change for Imperials and clicking on
the buy button.
(7) Here is where you can see both your avatar
and your level.
(10) This shows the number of cards you have in
your collection. Clicking on the [+] button takes you
to the store so you can purchase more cards.
(8) This bar displays the number of Ounces you
have. By clicking on the [+] you can acquire more
Ounces.
(11) With this button you can change the language
in which you want to play Berserk: The Cataclysm.

(12) This button allows you to collapse and expand
your Ungar information menu.
(13) By clicking here you will activate your helper
guide who will give you an overview of where you are.
You can disable this help by clicking the “Do not
show this message” box.
(14) With this button you can activate and deactivate
advice from your assistant: Did you know...?. Also,
you can set the sound by activating and deactivating
both the effects and the music.
You can also activate the Vacation Mode if you
don’t want any other Ungars or Barbarians attacking
your island while you’re away from your tower. You
will also be unable to attack. Finally, you can activate
the Protection mode and prevent other Ungars’
incursions on your island.

During your stay in Berserk: The
Cataclysm, you can perform different
activities depending on where you are in the
game, to travel from one place to another,
using the main menu. It will take you to the
different sections of the game, which are:
Tower
Your tower of sorcery is your Operations
Command, where you can go to other sections
such as Cards List, Battles, and Portals, visit
your island, access the Store and check your
squads.
Here you can also view your Achievements and gain access to the Laboratory, where you can evolve your
Evolution set of cards, improve your heroes or investigate new cards using elemental experience.

Island
Your island is composed by different territories
of the various elements that can be found in
Laar. You can expand it by conquering other
Ungars’ territories or obtain them as a reward
when completing conquest campaigns.
This is where you charge taxes in the form
of Elemental Experience or Imperials. You
must also defend your island from the attacks
of Barbarians and other Ungars.
At the beginning of your adventure in Laar,
you’ll have a 48 hour protection period during
which you cannot be attacked.

Portals
In this section you can travel to other Ungar’s
islands to attack and conquer their territories,
by using energy portals.
Each squad you use to attack the territory of
another Ungar will spend portal energy.
Here you can also buy more stories for your
sorcery tower, which you can enrich with
useful improvements such as Defender or
Magic Cauldron.

Battles
Here you will find a good place to test your
sorcery skills, you can fight in campaigns to
win daily Imperials, and participate in others
with different rewards.
You can also test your skills against other
powerful Ungars in other battles, where you
can help your fellow sorcerers get rid of the
pesky barbarians, fighting to be the King of
the Hill or battle for the Dragon’s Treasure.

During the Battle
When your squads face other Ungars’, yours
will be on the bottom of the screen. You can
also increase or decrease the speed of the
battle by using the arrows on the bottom,
pause or resume, and also to adjust the sound.
If you have further questions about the
interface during battle, you can click on the
help button in the upper left.

Squads
This section is where you can test your skills
as a strategist and sorcerer. Here you can
create squads, dissolve them, edit or mark
them as garrison to defend your island from
the incursions of enemy wizards.

Cards
In the Cards section you will be able to see
both your card collection as well as all the
game’s cards. You can also search for specific
cards by name or skill or further refine the
search criteria by card Type, Element or
Attack Type.

Store
Here you will be able to obtain many Boosters
through cards that allow you to expand your
collection and improve your game strategy.
You can also buy campaigns, upgrades for
your Tower and arcane objects to give a
better atmosphere.

Clans
This is where you will be able to join your group
of friends and create a clan to fight in the Clan
Wars, check the Map in order to organize
and revise the Ranking corresponding to the
Clan War.

Quick Access Inferior Menu
In this menu you can quickly access
your enemies or friends and see
the ranking of players, which is
structured as follows:
take you to the Portals screen.
1 Here you can check your position in the different
game rankings: Experience, Territories, Wins,
Power, Manna and Cards.
5 and 6 allows to move the friends / enemies bar one
position to the right or left.
2 Here you can change the menu viewing to see the
Portals bar.
7 and 8 allows friends / enemies bar to be entirely
moved to the right or left across the page.
3 Here you can change the menu to see your Friends
bar.
4 On the Invite Friend button you can invite your
friends through Facebook or their email. If on the
other hand the button is on the Portals mode, it will

if you are on the Friends bar. Otherwise, if you are
on the Portal bar, it shows the Ungar enemy that
you can invade using portals.

Important Concepts
Ungar: The Ungars are the sorcerers in the world
of Laar. In Berserk: The Cataclysm you will embody
an Ungar and must fight against other sorcerers for
the domination of Laar. For this you can count on
the magic items that allow you to control heroes,
creatures, equipment and grounds. Organize them
into squads to help you in your fight.
Ounces: One of the currencies used in Laar,
considered of greater value than Imperials by the
sorcerers.
Imperials: Basic currency used in Laar.
Clan: Associations or groups of Ungars who fight
for the same cause, to win the Clan War.
Mana: Is the energy that allows you to collect taxes
from your territories.
Elemental Experience: Is a mystical energy that is
collected from the Territories of Laar and allows
sorcerers to improve or investigate new cards.
Territory: The territories are a series of islets that
belong to an element, and Ungars fight against
each other in Laar to gain them for themselves, to
not only gain prestige, but also to collect taxes from
these lands in the form of Imperials and Elemental
Experience.

Important Concepts
Squad: Series of 8 cards directed by a Hero,
including creatures, equipment and grounds. The
squad battles are how Ungars fight each other.
Achievements: They measure your ability as a
sorcerer, they show the feats that you have achieved
as an Ungar.
Leadership: The courage and endurance of an
Ungar. When there is a battle between squads, the
goal is to lower the opponent’s leadership to 0 or
completely destroy all cards from his squad.
Portal: A magic door that an Ungar can create to
travel and invade their opponent’s islands.
Energy portal: Is the energy an Ungar uses to
enable his/ her squads to travel through a portal and
fight other Ungar’s defences.
Garrison: A garrison consists of 1-3 squads
responsible for the defence of your island against
attacks from other Ungars.
Barbarians: Nomadic tribes that populate Laar.
They are governed by the law of the strongest, and
often invade the lands of the Ungars.
Missions: These are tasks you can perform to
improve your abilities as a sorcerer, they also serve
to gain experience and other rewards.

Campaigns: These are stories that an Ungar can
experience, in order to get a reward.

Basic Strike: Melee attack, magic, does more
damage to creatures that have Spell attack.
Lightning: Range attack, magical, does more damage
to creatures that have Shoot attack.
Spell: Melee attack, magic, does more damage to
creatures with Lightning attack
Throw: Range attack, not magic, does more damage
to creatures with basic Basic Strike.
Shoot: Range attack, not magic, does more damage
to creatures with Throw attack.
