easyBid Process
Create Bid Catalog
The bidding entity creates an electronic
bid catalog. The catalog is distributed
for
requirements
gathering
to
constituents within the organization.
Consolidated requirements are then
published through easyBid to a preselected vendor list.
Publish for Vendor Response
Vendors receive an e-mail containing all
the information and links they need to
participate in the bid. easyBid allows
vendors to respond to the bid
requirements online and publish the
catalog back to the bidding entity within
the sealed bid date and time.
Award Bid Line Items and Lots
The bidding entity views the status of
vendor responses throughout the
sealed bid timeframe and views the
vendor responses once the bid is
unsealed. Bid line items and lots are
awarded to vendors according to the
bidding entity’s award criteria. Vendors
and bidding constituents are all notified
of the award electronically via the
easyBid application.
