How to Participate:
Starting around late May, and throughout the summer
you can visit your library to sign up for the TD Summer
Reading Club. It’s free!
You’ll get an activity book with a reading log and stickers. There are
two ways to participate. You can either count the number of books
you read or you can count the number of days you read at least 15
minutes each day. Keep track of the books or dates that you read
then come back to the library to enter into the contest. For every five books or five days read, you get to enter to win a
prize at the end of the summer. You’ll also get a small prize for
every five books or five days read (a maximum of four prizes). If you
come back before Friday, July 15, you’ll be entered for a chance to
win the early bird prize of a family swim pass.

Downloadable
Audiobooks
Through CELA
& NNELS
People with print disabilities
in Saskatoon now have more
options than ever before through
their public library, thanks to the
National Network of Equitable
Library Service (NNELS) and to the
Centre for Equitable Library Access
(CELA). SPL has subscriptions
to both, so you can download an
audiobook and play it on your
computer, iPad, iPhone, DAISY
Stream, or other compatible device.
And if you cannot do downloadables,
there are other ways to get these
audiobooks in a format that works for
you. All you need to start with is a public
library card and to register for print
disabled service through the library.
