Mask-Making Workshop Our mask-making workshop is ideal for younger students. After learning about the colorful and vibrant “Ponce Carnival” and the role of the “Vejigante” as an icon for Ponce and Loiza, students create their own vejigante mask by coloring and assembling paper cutouts into a mask. The mask is then strung and ready to wear.
